The Royal Chundu is an absolute Gem! It is a hidden treasure! We stayed at the Royal Chundu for three nights in February. We were greeted at the airport by a driver and then took a ride through Livingstone to get to the Royal Chundu. Upon being greeted by the staff and Aggie you see amazing views everywhere you turn...

My family and I left this outstanding lovely lodge with so many memories , having stayed at both River and Island lodges at the beginning of January 2017 . We could not have asked for more . Tina , you have a special place as well as a wonderful staff, and nothing was too much for anyone . I truly...

Let's get this right out of the way - The Royal Chundu is one hour outside of Livingstone up the Zambezi River. If you've taken that as a negative then let me convince you that you should not consider anywhere else to stay while visiting the area. First, the rides gave us a wonderful opportunity to learn about the culture,...

We visited Royal Chundu (both River and Island Lodges) in early January 2017. This trip was a special one for us as ex South Africans visiting from Australia for a very important mission - to return my Dad's ashes to one of the places that we loved most. The lodges are beautiful, rooms luxurious and beautifully decorated and Aggie and...

Our family stayed at the island lodge for 2 nights, and we could not have been more happy. We were spoiled from the minute we set foot on the island. There are staff constantly waiting to take care of you, make sure you are happy, and ready to take care of all of your needs. The food is freshly cooked...

We had a nice time at The Royal Chundu but would not go back. The rooms were actually very nice and clean, we loved the food, the service was top-notch and we had a lovely time. But there were a few little things that added up to it not quite doing it for us, including... -Could have been the time...

We had the best time at Royal Chendu. We spent 3 nights here and highly recommend. The staff was beyond helpful and nice. The food was amazing and the lodge is beautiful. I highly recommend rafting on the river and taking the sunset cruises at night. Both are awesome experiences. They will even take you on a private tour of...

We knew it would be good, but it was better! Really exceeded expectations in every way. What a gem and absolute labour of love! Love the fact that it is quite far off the beaten track and further than you think when you first turn off. The welcome at the Lodge was incredibly professional, warm and welcoming. Hessah has a...

We recently ended our honeymoon at the Royal Chundu after visiting Cape Town and a Safari in Sabi Sands. We absolutely loved it! We took a helicopter transfer from the airport which included a tour of Victoria Falls. As soon as we arrived, the staff was so kind and welcoming. The food and service here were top notch. We stayed...

This is the best place to visit in Zambia, right on the doorstep of the mighty Zambezi. Best people, best accomodation, best food with the best chef, best resort manager and managares, best waiters and best tiger fishing with best skipper. You are treated here as a KING and don't want to leave. Will definately return in future.
