Beautiful room and decorations. Really enjoyed the pool. Very close to the old town. My only con is that when we left we ask the receptionist to help book us a train but she charged us nearly 300,000 dong per person so we went somewhere else and got the tickets for half the price. Be very careful in Vietnam, even...

This hotel suited us perfectly. It's in an old colonial-style building, with a residential wing on one side, and a pool and restaurant on the other side of a central garden area shaded by palm trees, and where there are chairs and tables, hammocks and even a billiards table. The staff are intelligent, English-speaking, charming and incredibly helpful. Breakfast (included...

Small hotel, colonial style, with beautiful garden and very relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are a little worn which adds to the charm. Staff extremely friendly. Short walking distance to old town and market. Our room was directly to the street side, which can be a little noisy. Rooms further back would be better. Good breakfast buffet, except coffee. Will bring our...

We have been staying here at the Ha An hotel in Hoi An for the last two nights. We will spend one more night here tonight then head for Hue. The Ha An hotel is a boutique hotel situated on the edge of the old quarter. I believe there are only about 25 rooms in the hotel, and it really...

I had the pleasure of eating breakfast at Ha An Hotel when I visited Hoi An. The food is generally excellent, with palettes from Vietnamese as well as Western dishes. The chefs were extremely talented and can cater to your needs. Remember to ask for the kitchen noodle soups as well as any seasonal fruity drinks; you will not be...

Excellent position, quiet with great staff, facilities and a straight walk into the old town, market, tour boats and sites of Hoi An. Hotel manages to stay quiet and distant while positioned on the very edge of everything.

This hotel has a number of things going for it: the location is good, the staff are outstanding, the overall facility (garden, pool, restaurant) is lovely. The rooms, however, are a bit musty and dark, with rather dated furniture, chipped paint etc.

Me and my wife had a pleasant stay at the Ha An hotel. The location couldn't be better, 100m from the local market. The hotel has a colonial architecture which gives it a lot of character. The rooms are nice and large and the staff was very helpful with everything that we needed. The breakfast had a lot of options,...

Pros: Quirky older hotel with lovely courtyard and small swimming pool to relax in. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Cons: the hotel would benefit from a comprehensive maintenance programme. The first room we were shown to had very obvious damp patches on the wall-although we were offered a replacement upon asking. Plumbing was rickety as indicated...

This hotel was truly excellent after a long flight to Vietnam we stayed here for 3 nights. The room was comfy if a bit small and the bathroom was nice...

“Choose a room with a balcony looking out onto the garden or the pool. It's possible that all rooms do!”

“Our room 205 was very nicely appointed with a big and comfortable bed and a nice bathroom and shower. Furniture is slightly worn , but functioning, and adds to the retro charm of this hotel. There is also a veranda. The street in front of the hotel is quite busy and there is some traffic noise. Rooms further back from the road would probably be quieter. ”
