It was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, and wasn't happy to leave... Only a few rooms spread around a beautiful tropical garden with pond and a swimming pool, away from the town so it is very quiet, but renting a motorbike is probably the best thing to do then. The rooms were modern and comfy, apart...

The location is fine, the setting very peaceful and beautifully landscaped...and yet... At the time of our stay it was being managed by the owner's brother and that's probably the problem - quite frankly I think he's cruise-mode most of the time. Rooms not quite clean enough (not dirty, but not the usual high standard of similar-priced accom in Vietnam),...

Ok, so we like everyone on here read all the reviews before choosing this hotel with mixed ideas of what to expect. After spending 5 delicious days with this hotel I think I can finally explain what a guest can expect from staying here and how to navigate hurdles some other guests came up against. 1. This hotel would be...

I have very mixed feeling about our stay at Villa Hoa Su. The villa itself and the rooms are a piece of beauty - the garden with it's ponds is a piece of Eden, rooms are smartly designed, marble bathtub in the private backyard is very cool and sexy. With only 5 rooms it feels very private and exclusive as...

Stayed here based on TA reviews and were not disappointed. Alas, we visited in November (the rainy season) so didn't have the chance to use the pool or bikes. Lovely setting and only 5 rooms so very relaxing. Yes, it's not walking distance from town but taxis were easy to find and only a US$2.00 ride each way. Bond and...

We are currently staying at Villa Hoa Su, and love it here. The setting is romantic with a lovely pool and ornate ponds. The rooms are beautiful, but like most of Vietnam the beds are hard. Aircon is great, there is free wifi and the staff are wonderful. The owner put on a Christmas lunch for us yesterday, and it...

This place is beautiful, very tastefully decorated rooms, beautiful landscape gardens and very well taken care of. It's a bike ride or taxi ride away from the city centre but we really enjoyed the bike ride in actually and would not have wanted it any different. Overall we thought this place had the potential to be really great but currently...

We spent four days at Villa Hoa Su November 2010 - wet season. I definitely want to go back when it is fine so we can enjoy the pool, the outdoor bath and the free bikes. Very friendly, helpful staff, great food. A quiet and relaxing place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An township.

After a long trip on the overnight train from Hanoi, we were quite excited to arrive at the stunningly beautiful Vila Hoa Su. (This is also listed as Vila Hoa Su Frangipangi here on Trip Advisor - same place). We were greeted by Bond who showed us quickly around and them to our rooms. Photos don't do justice to the...

Villa Hoa Su is a perfect getaway- I work in HCMC, and it was the perfect tonic for the soul! The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful but also discreet, and as a solo traveller, I felt well looked after. Bond helped me to plan what to do, and the girls made me AMAZING fresh breakfasts! The rooms are lovely-...

“Ask for a villa. Looking at the reviews they also have very small rooms. Wouldn't fancy one of those.”

“We started in the upstairs room which is bigger and with a private balcony. It was raining very heavily when we arrived and we decided that walking up and down the open stairs would be uncomfortable even with the umbrellas provided. We then opted to stay in a pool-side room which was also really nice. This room could accommodate 3 people if required.”
