The Jahon Place is a solid 3 star hotel. Adequate in all ways; spectacular in none. Its rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious with good furnishings. Same for the bathroom. Everything works. Basic breakfast buffet. Hotel staff has very limited English but enough to get by. The property is centrally located and is a good value for the money.

A good hotel in the center of town. The beds are hard, the wi-fi very spasmodic and usually poor. The showers are very good. Staff are helpful and the decor is very good. There is a good pool area whare you can have a quiet drink after dinner. You need to buy a beer from the reception fridge! Better than nothing though !

I stayed here for three nights. An always helpful reception and a very attentive housekeeping team ensured a pleasant and comfortable stay. A shout-out to the very friendly lady who always greeted me in German! :-) The hotel is brand new, the room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The rooms facing Gagarina Street do get the traffic noise, which some of my fellow group travelers complained about, but I was okay with it. Being out and about all day long, I was tired enough in the evenings not to care and the street sounds do quiet down at night. All the easier it is to catch a taxi straight from the hotel entrance! Up and down the road, there are several smaller and larger restaurants and mini marts/supermarkets, which added to the convenience of staying at this hotel; it was easy to grab snacks, drinks or a full meal. There was always plenty of drinking water provided in the room though. The only point that I suggest improvement on is breakfast; the little that is currently offered is more of a snack and hardly a proper meal for a long day ahead.

It is a new hotel with European classic style. The room was cleaned. Receptionist were very helpful and friendly Wifi coverage was not covered at the basement where the breakfast was served. Overall the experience was great!

I stayed here for three nights and enjoyed my stay. The bed was a typical HARD Uzbek type. However, I talked the staff into putting 4 or 5 duvets on top of the mattress and then the sheet and then the bed was OK. Room was very large with 2 double beds and 20+ foot high ceilings. I was one of only two people staying in the hotel during that time - felt rather weird - but quiet. They said a big tour group was coming in later that week. They wanted to pinpoint a time for breakfast. I arrived a bit late and everything was already on the table and in chafing dishes. Two fried eggs, rather cool, in a 12" X 15" dish; 2 hot dogs in another large dish; and a big bowl of oatmeal. It filled me up, but would have been much better hot. I tried to make this point, but I was served the same way all 3 days. I travel with my own premium instant coffee packets, so I enjoyed Italian roast and French espresso and not Nescafe (YUCK!). Surrounding area was quiet at night, except for a dog that barked now and then - no traffic noise. Hotel was a 10-15 min. or so taxi ride to any tourist site. All persons working the reception desk were helpful and quite proficient in English. Front desk staff bought me 2 bottles of wines, 3 phone cards, called taxis, and ordered pizzas (I don't go out at night alone in foreign countries.). Using phone cards at the front desk phone was a really inexpensive way to call my husband in the US each evening. Hallways were decorated with black and white historic photographs - which I found fascinating. Good, hassle free stay.
