The hotel is good on average, the building seems to be a bit old, but the view is amazing and it is well conserved and maintained. I think this is a good 3 stars, but not 4. The hotel personnel is kind, and as Colonia is a small city you can know in detail in two days, the hotel is...

We ended up staying here, not by choice, but by accident. We found the rooms to be quaint, and bohemian. The staff and management and the cafe was fantastic and a great deal. We could not eat that much, Gotta stay there!!

Stayed one night. Close to port. Clean and comfortable. Service was polite. Wireless is free and works in rooms but strength depends on location--it worked if I sat near the door. Restaurant buffet has a wide selection of choices including a great salad bar for dinner. Breakfast is free and is also plentiful. Many pieces of the equipment in fitness...

We arrived by car, cars are not very common in Colonia, there is no traffic and you pretty much park anywhere. The reception was not overwhelming, it took them a couple of minutes to find our pre-arranged rate, at the end we get our room keys. The rooms are clean, they are small, at least the ones behind the reception,...

We had a group of over 90 guests. The staff was remarkable. Efficient, friendly, helpful. Meals were very nice. Spacious meeting room. Pool and spa were favorites. Clean room. Nice to have a shuttle to go into Colonia.

This hotel is in comparison to other hotels located far away from center of activities. Rooms look and feel old without renovation. I have never seen a breakfast buffet with so many different kinds of pastries and cookies, probably more than 20 different types, one problem though - the taste.

I booked the hotel as part of a weekend trip with BUQUEBUS, the ferry and travel agency in Buenos Aires. Goal was to see a little bit of Colonia and being able to relax a bit at the same time. As my Spanish is not extremely good and I am vegetarian (which still is a bigger problem at some places),...
