I've contacted Casa los Jazmines for a gift to my parents. They reached out quite promtly, and I had the opportunity to be in touch directly with the managers. They took care of every detail they offered: drinks, comfort, flowers, food. It was a super personalized service which reflected on a perfect stayed and gift. I am abroad and the...

I had such a relaxing time at Jazmines... I truly felt at peace for the week we were there. The house has all the amenities you will need. You get a beautiful room with it's own complete bathroom, very comfortable bed, AC (needed in the months of December/January) and anything I asked for was quickly taken care of. We spent...

After spending nearly a week in Buenos Aires it was a true retreat for our group of ten close friends to hop the ferry and stay at the magnificent Casa Los Jazmines. Over the years our group has traveled the globe together and this home stands out as one of the best we have been fortunate enough to stay in....

This boutique hotel is almost out of a fairy-tale with its lovely garden, tranquil pool, cute pets and magical atmosphere. Sebastian and his wife owns this place and they were very helpful throughout our stay. There are 6 rooms in this boutique hotel, but we lucked out and there was no one else other than us during our stay. Sebastian...

Perfection. Don't hesitate to stay here. Sabastian and his wife are lovely hosts. Our picky eater daughter thought her meal here was the best out of all the meals on our trip to Buenos Aires and Colonia. Trust me, that is a big endorsement! It was delicious and nourishing. Planning our next trip already!!

I fell in love with Casa los Jazmines the first time I visited. It was for a company retreat that we organized for our development team in Uruguay. I loved it so much, I knew I had to share it with my girlfriend (at the time). Upon my next arrival for our annual company retreat, I once again fell in...

We are a family of fourteen ranging in age from two to seventy years old and we had a wonderful Christmas and New Years' celebration at CLJ. Colonia is a really cute little town with shops, bars, restaurants and a lot of history. You can easily tour on foot or on golf carts that you rent for $15/hour. Just a...

My family, traveling with two young children (2, 4), spent two nights here to experience a quiet retreat before heading back to Buenos Aires on a two month tour through S America. Our room, El Cielo, had a great bath tub and large screen doors leading to the large garden / pool. The boys really enjoyed walking the property, swimming...

Excellent hotel to stay as a couple or with friends. For relaxing and enjoying the countryside of Uruguay. It's a bit away from Colonia, but for around UR$ 400 you can go by taxi to downtown Colonia. Overall a great place, nice rooms and very good breakfast!

After a three day visit, I'm officially entrenched in a love affair with Casa Los Jazmines and Uruguay. Marcial turns hosting and cooking into an art form. The food is five-star quality in its simplest incarnation, all locally harvested (sometimes even from trees directly on the property). The views are peaceful. The pool is divine. The decor is detailed and...
