Colonia suite hotel was superb. A complete and utter rest and recharge, an antithesis from the bustling busyness of Buenos Aires, a mere 40km away by ferry. So, where to begin? From Fred's warm multi lingual welcome to the accommodation to the 'Taza de Té' tearoom and garden which he runs from 3 o'clock onwards for light snacks and excellent...

3 of us stayed at Colonia Suite for 3 nights, and I would recommend it highly ! The rooms were spacious and well equipped, the breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious, and the location is perfect for Colonia. The Host and his staff are all so welcoming and warm- nothing was ever a fuss and they made us...

We have spent one night in this lovely and cozy little place and fell in love with it imediately. The rooms are very stylish. Every one has an own theme. The rooms are clean and Fred, the oewner, is amazing. He speaks English and French too and helped us with everything. We would definitely come back!

Colonia suite is such a beautiful, artful space and Fred is a wonderful host. The food is excellent and the patio where breakfast is served is magical. The atelier, where we stayed is breathtaking with the most comfortable bed. Colonia itself is a beautiful town and well worth the visit. We highly recommend this wonderful posada.

Fred's apartment is lovely. The large room (I forget the name) is very spacious, with a comfortable bed and optional sleeping couch. The views out the back patio are peaceful and green. There is no street noise, and the air conditioner is very effective. Overall, a very restful and enjoyable place to stay while in Colonia.

The most beautiful rooms we ever have lived in. So artistic and creative. The breakfast was great and the owner very friendly and helpful. We can really recommend this B&B. If we ever came back we will absolutely stay there again.

Our recent stay at Colonia Suite was magnificent. It would be impossible to choose a favorite aspect, but among them would certainly include: the charming and careful arrangement of the common areas, the kind owner Fred - a Renaissance man of sorts - who features his beautiful paintings on walks throughout the posada, the delicious, wholesome food and the open...

We stayed one night but definitely wish we would have stayed longer. We stayed in the room in the courtyard in the back and it was everything we could have asked for. Great location. Great breakfast. And I can't say thank you enough to Fred for his hospitality. We were in need of a notary (very long story) and Fred...

Stopped by for a quick bite while touring the city. The restaurant is small but has a unique charm. Very accommodating owner. Would definitely consider staying here over a future visit. B&B has only four rooms and the restaurant is open for only breakfast and lunch.
