Perfect for us. We stayed twice foe a total of about 15 days. We had a corner apartment on the 6th floor which had a full kitchen and was perfect for us as we are still taking Covid seriously. Great view in 2 directions. City view to the left and Ocean / lake view to the right / ahead. All needed stores and Carrefour in short walking distance which is important especially in the heat at this time of year. The staff were super friendly and feel bad for not being able to mention all by name but Abigail and Omar i would like to give a special mention. Thanks to all and looking forward to visiting again in the future.
What a wonderful professional f&b team , specially Riya and Nanit , warm welcoming , thank you so much hitlon for such nice night Food and drinks and service are wonderful and delicious, thank you again for everything
I have stayed in almost all hotels in Sharjah but so far, this is the only hotel that really raised the bar high for all hotels in Sharjah because their superb and appaluadable service! When you entered the lobby, it gives you the feeling of being in a luxury hotel due to the glamorous interiors and ambiance. And the best part is when you check in at the front desk! Their front desk staff are all top-notch! They were all very charming, friendly, and you will really enjoy engaging because of their very customize and personalized check in style especially Abegail, Omar, Riya, Subham, Trisha and Ayman. I’m very much impressed with their exceptional, and splendid and first class and bona fide service! The housekeeping staff Jojo was amazing and really superb! I was also very much impressed to all their staff at the breakfast buffet especially Gesyl. I forgot the other names but you can really see their eminent, fantastic and admirable service! They were all very enthusiastic, helpful, attentive, and you will e captivated to see the beautiful smiles on their faces. This is something worthy, sublime and brilliant which I have never expected from Double Tree by Hilton or even to any hotels in Sharjah! Apart from their luxury style of service, they are also very generous as they have upgraded my room, gave me an early check in and late check out, and plus, they have a complimentary shuttle bus going to Al Khan Beach. I am really very much dazzled and amazed because everything in this hotel is just so perfect and flawless and quintessential from its unrivalled, unparalleled and beyond compare service to their spotless, and modern facilities. What a very impressive, impeccable, intuitive and mind blowing service! Just literally amazing!…
The hotel was nice and the view was awesome. The stuff was very kind. We have our flight canceled and the following flight was late. We spoke to the manager Omar. He was very kind and understanding and helped us to get free late check out even though it was weekend and late check out wasn’t as easy as week days. We were relieved.
I’ve stayed on this place several times. Location and the hotel is really nice but front Office staff need to improve. I have several problems including booking and there are instances where i have to escalate.
We recently had a 4 nite stay at the Hilton Double Tree, Al Majaz waterfront. Having previously stayed at the Hilton Corniche in Sept 2019 ( no longer a Hilton hotel now) and on reading all the pleasant reviews on Trip advisor, we booked this place. I have to however say, it was a bit of a let down to our holiday. We are Hilton members and have stayed at various Hilton hotels in New York, Dubai, Niagara falls Canada, Istanbul, Thailand etc and expected the same at Sharjah. But it was not to be. We entered a small, cramped but colourful lobby, lots of things cramped into a small space. Check in was done in some time and we went to our room on the 3rd floor which in reality is floor 9 since the floors above the lobby are dedicated to car parks, meeting rooms, the restaurant, gym, swimming pool etc. Though we saw just a few lifts for the entire hotel ( 3 or 4), there wasn’t much waiting time for them. Coming to the gym, it wasn’t that well equipped as compared to other hotel gyms. We didn’t use the pool since when we as a family thought of going there it was the time slot dedicated to women only. So cannot comment. Now about our room. It was huge, had a comfy bed and a sofa cum bed and magnificent views of the waterfront. The window was ceiling to floor and the color scheme was nice. Bathroom had everything reqd and came with a bathtub and a shower outside the tub. The room walls however are flimsy and there was a connecting door at the end of the room, between our room and the other So it did bring in a lot of noise to disturb us time and again. We opted for half board which included breakfast and dinner at ‘Majdolin’. Breakfast was nothing to rave about, small portions of various items were put out, bread and croissants were cold and there was a very tiny kid’s bfast. Infact we had to look for someone so as to order a fried egg/ omelet since there was no live station. That said, bfast was far better than dinner. Dinner comprised of a set meal printed on card paper- it included One of 4 or so salads, One type of soup everyday ( same lentil soup daily- more of a gravy) One of a few mains which can hardly be called mains ( it included a tiny burger and chips as one of the items, some flatbread topped with meat and chopped into bits as another, some bread with cheese as the third ,there also was chicken and some other bland fish which I am too angry to recall) and One of 3 choices in desserts (a 2 inch round cheesecake or rice pudding or a brownie). All portions except the salad were very were small. The waitress asked us to scan the code to see what the dish would look like. We did that, some items showed rice, but when the dish arrived, chips were served instead of rice.( easier to serve chips I guess… imagine adults having chips as part of main course everyday) On questioning, they came up with an explanation that we get a proper dish only if ordered A la Carte and not as part of 1/2 board. Such an illogical explanation!!! The next day however, they served us a small bowl of steamed white rice on being reminded. Why ask us to scan the barcode if that was the case?? Well, we thought the menu would change the next day….but no, each day the fare stayed same with hardly any choice and the same bland lentil soup. It got to be a dull and drab affair and we came to hate dinner. The salads too were not great…either too tart or the main ingredient after which it was named was the least in the bowl. Their beetroot salad looked different everyday…We spoke to the manager who expressed helplessness saying it was the chef who decided the menu and they couldnn’t do much. Well really??? On day 4 we were handed a different menu. Happy to see a change, we got ready to order but just as we began, the menus were quickly taken from our hands saying we were given the full board menu by mistake; they did apologize but what they did was unprofessional!! The staff however, were attentive enough and tried to do their best. I must mention Nenette, Barbara and the receptionist in red who greeted warmly as soon as the lift door opened (did not manage to learn her name). The other young girls too displayed the same eagerness to assist, but the restaurant had just a few diners at a time and yet it seemed they couldn’t cope. Wonder what would happen if the place was full. Since we had a late flight, we asked for a late check out and had to pay half days rate for a 6 hr extension for just the room and nothing else, no bed would be made, no room cleaning, no toiletries, no change of towels. We didn’t have much choice. On requesting, they did provide us with water, a few tea bags and milk. The hotel is tiny and was not full when we were there, yet the staff found it difficult to cope. We had a query and had to stand for close to 25 mins in Q since there was just 1 person at the reception. I must mention one of the front office persons, I do not recall his name but he probably is Kenyan (not too sure) he was polite and always ready to assist. He was the one who got our bags in and always wished us warmly when we met. He is an asset to the hotel. The hotel is just in front of City Centre mall and there are many shops loaded with stuff for budget shoppers. Some of the stuff is pretty good. All in all, it was not a perfect stay especially considering the wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Dubai just prior to Hilton. Don’t think we will visit again.…
Very comfortable hotel with great services and in a strategic location. The staff are really helpful and got good value for money. It was my second stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a trouble free in Sharjah.

I would like to also thank Aminah, Florent and Barbara for helping us achieve a memorable experience. Till next time.
This hotel easily surpasses many 5-star hotels due to its luxurious and high quality facilities. Friendly and quick check-in, large and comfortable rooms (super soundproof), great gym and indoor pool, and amazing views. Nice restaurant terrace which was perfect for drying hair in the morning.
