I stayed with my 2.5 year old son and my parents shared a separate apartment. Let's start with the positives. Its cheap. If you pay more than £11 per apartment per night then you need to shop around or email direct. That may sound ridiculously...More

Hi its approximatrly a 10 to 15 min walk on a fairly flat path, however it is on the opposite side of the main road so you have to be either quick on your feet or have to walk for a further 10 mins down to the road junction... More

Hiya We are going tothe Camelia in September, booked on the recommendation of people we met last year and trip advisor. Then found out it had changed hands. Then came the negative reviews. We stayed at Poppys last year which was ok and we would have gone back there except everyone chain smoked and we were trapped by the passive smoke in our room. We dont mind basic so long as it's clean, (When we've been to Greece on holiday most Greek self catering apartments are basic and they've been lovely), Poppys we would class as basic but that was roomy and nice, apart from the smoke and I dont think we had our floors mopped the whole 2 weeks we were there but we did it , mop on the landing. They did change the beds and towels though and took out the toilet bins (not every time, we did have to sort that out ourselves but again, no problem ) So how basic is basic? Are the apartments clean? Did you have any problems with insects in the rooms? If its clean then the rest doesn't really matter. Its just somewhere to sleep and store your clothes when it all comes down to it. we eat out we do use the pool and the bar but you said that was Ok. Would appreciate some information. Thanks
