What an amazing hotel!!! Everything was perfect! The room was perfect, the breakfast was perfect, the location was perfect and the staff was perfect. I would like to thank Baylan’s Hotel staff Kazim and Turan for always being extremely helpful and smiling all the time. If you are visiting Izmir, Hotel Baylan is the place to be, so look no...

stayed here 3 nights in a 2 bedroom suite for 5 people. Awefull room and worst was the bathroom. Quarter the size of any other hotel averge bathroom. Bad location, old building, and numerous faults in the room. Air on was old and breaking apart, heating the room was a problem as we where there in winter. No blankets were...

I stayed here thanks to the reviews from trip advisor. Though I travelled solo, I still opted to stay in the Agora room, that's the one with the terrace. It is spacious, clean and quiet, bathroom was really good too, no complaints at all. Items in the minibar were reasonably priced. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful....

My room was large and the patio was even larger. It was on the top floor and didn't even have a number. It was called "Agora" - penthouse in Turkish, perhaps? The bathroom was nice and everything was very clean. The TV was a little small-ish. The lobby was nice and the bar served cold beer late into the evening....

Very professional outfit. Started out by phoning us to check arrival time, and had staff waiting in the secure 24-hr attended off-road hotel car park. Our tons of luggage all taken to the rooms without fuss or lingering around hankering for a tip. Spotless. The entire hotel is modern, cleaner than our house and very well equipped. Position is great...

The rooms are very clean and the staff is very helpful. Helped us with some stuff even at midnight. Though the language is a bit of a problem we don't understand Turkish and most of them don't understand English but the staff always has a smile on their face.

I had booked this hotel looking for a decent hotel near the downtown attraction. This fit the bill perfectly. It has been recently renovated and seems to be in great shape; the price was more than reasonable; the staff very helpful, and it was about a 15 min. walk to the bazaar and waterfront. Breakfast had a nice variety of...

All other hotels around are very poor. This is the exception. Clean. Big rooms. Nice bathrooms. Wifi works. Staff very good. Breakfast is good. Its about a 20min walk to Alsancak where the bars/restaurants are. Overall a very good product. Only negative is that there are no non-smoking rooms from what i an gather. So room may be next to...

We had a few days in Izmir for a wedding and stayed here. It was a great hotel, large suite-style room. No issues whatsoever, the staff was exemplary and courteous. Easy to get around town as it is near the metro/Basmane Train station. I did see below someone mention refugees. While the street between the train station and the hotel...
