The internet connection at the 3rd floor is really slow and usually cut off especially at night. Also it is the first hotel where the inside light switch is situated outside the room right before the door.
I like most is its location (center of Izmir) where you can find a lot of shops as well as the tourist spots nearby. Also I like also the wide variety of breakfast they served. And the train station to Selcuk and airport is just a walking distance. Also Ahmed is kind enough to let us pay the day after since we were not able to carry liras that night.
Wifi is not working, room too cold because there is no proper heating, hotel location is near the city center but in a shady area. Bathroom smells like sewer. No telephone in the room for calling reception. İ called reception for toilet papers, towels and to ask help for the wifi because i cant connect to it, and he told me to go down to the lobby! This is the only hotel (doesnt matter the stars rating) where if you need something, you go to the lobby yourself. We were in the 3rd floor and there were no elevators. This is very frustrating because they immediately asked us to pay for the entire 2-night stay upfront so we have no other choice but to stay here because for sure they will not refund our money if we check out earlier.
The hotel is very well located and clean. Rooms- it depends. They have two staircases, the left one is for good new floors with nice large rooms that are more pricy, the right one is for the economy options. We've tried both (as a courtesy of the hotel we had an expensive option for the economy fare during the first night). The inexpensive room was very noisy mostly cause of the old doors that a) are hard to close, so you and your neighbors have to smash it b) very thin, so you hear all the smashing. Still all rooms are clean, free toiletries and good bathrooms are in place, they have split systems and TV. The breakfast is very good and has options for every taste. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they gave us a nice little souvenir at the check-out. The Izmir itself is gorgeous, this was our first visit and we're surprised how actually nice this city is.
It was the worst place to stay, the cleanliness was very poor, the place smelled very foul, the rooms were very small, the breakfast was very poor I would not recommend anyone to go there, they told me there was a good room partition from the hotel but I had to book through a location, we went by booking by telephone and the shock was strong
This is a comfy hotel for its price. We arrived late and it was almost midnight. They have beverages available for market price in their hotel. Breakfast had many choices and was good, taking into account that they include it into the hotel price. The only con was that we searched for a parking place and there was only one place on the narrow street where we could park it and then had to move it in the early morning.

You can get a train or shuttle bus from the airport. Train is the cheapest & they run quite often. The Havas bus is about 10tl & takes about 50 mins. Also there's the ESHOT city bus (EGM) 200 departs every hour & is 6tl & goes right to Izmir main bus terminal. The airport is about 18k from Izmir & will probably cost about 40tl in a taxi
