We stayed at many nice hotels around Turkey last month, but we have to say that the loveliest place we stayed was at the Melrose Allgau Pension. Mehmet and Ummu and their staff bent over backwards to make us comfortable during our stay; and for us, their home represented the "real Turkey," not just another hotel in another city in...

My friend and I stayed at Melrose House Hotel for 1 night in order to see the travertines. We were very impressed with the service provided by Mehmet and his family/staff. They were extremely helpful before and after we arrived. They made us feel like part of the family, including driving us around town. The food was incredible, we were...

Melrose is little Eden in Pamukklale! My favourite spot is having all my meals under the olive tree. The place is clean, neat & the food ********excellent!!!! Especially when the bill came after our 2 nights stay- value for $$! The gregarious hosts, charming daughters & ever helpful staff make this place homely & unforgetable. ...

We (family of 4) have a wonderful experience in Pamukkale/Hierapolis area. Melrose house is perfectly located. You can walk from there to the travertines. The restaurant its open until late and Mehmet and his family are really helpful. Our room was big (there was an extra bed) and comfortable. If you'r going to Pamukkale, this is the place to stay.

My wife and I visited Pamukkale on 4th and 5th of may’2010. One has to see to believe this natural wonder!! Since the time I received a mail about this, we have been wanting to visit…and was well worth it. Even though everything about the place is connected to this wonder, the place had a charm of its own. Its...

Room: Stayed for one night in the very beautiful Deluxe Room (number 50). The room was huge, clean, cool, beautifully decorated with a fridge, balcony, huge shower and jacuzzi bath (didn't use it as time was limited and it was too hot for a bath!). Dinner: We ate dinner here and the food was incredible. I had aubergine for a...

While the interior design isn't entirely to my taste, you can't argue with the value, the size and comfort of the rooms, and most of all, the fabulous welcome you get from Mehmet and his family. Such kind, hospitable people. Food is pretty good too.

I don't remember the name, it was Agulleo or something. We arrived without a reservation and the owner placed us in their sister hotel which was cheaper. The Melrose looks super nice. The one in the back was more budget. It was very basic but served our purposes and it was cheap. The hot water took a while in the...
