An overall onderful experience and stay at the Abras family run hotel, room were delecatily furnished and despite the warm weather, atmosphere within the rooms was cool. The owner made it a point to satisfy our every request.
One problem faced was shortage of water on the last day

This hotel was unique in that you are essentially sleeping in a cave! You would need to be mobile enough to carry your luggage from the car park situated down the road as the roads are too narrow for large vehicles. Pleasant sitting down areas under the apricot trees etc. Gorgeous views overlooking the area - advantage of being situated up on the hill. Clean rooms. Breakfast was average. Helpful and friendly staff

We had a great and memorable holiday. It was my first cave hotel concept experience and I was a bi sceptical, but it surpassed my expectations. The hosts (a family) are lovely, extremely welcoming and hard working. We were shown the quaint monastery/chapel that was unbelievable. The weather was perfect, location was good too. Our room was on the first floor in the corner, so it had a great view too. The bed was very comfortable for a couple like us, the linens were fresh and clean. We mostly had our meals at night in the same hotel and it was delicious, fresh from their own farms (I believe). We enjoyed their breakfast which had quite some variety as this is the most important meal of the day. Love the decor of dining table. Overall, definitely recommend this charming and homely experience.

The Abras Cave hotel is quite simply stunning. Ancient, beautiful, well preserved, sympathetically decorated and provides a real chance to sleep in a cave. The location is an easy 10 minute walk out of the town center and local shops. The owners are very friendly and helpful, check in was swift.

The bedroom we had was huge, the bed was massive (and comfy), the linen was clean and the amenities were decent (no iron in the hotel however). The bathroom was quaint too with a nice big jacuzzi bath and plenty of towels, but a bit on the smelly side sadly.

Breakfast was fantastic. A lovely selection of meat, salad, cheese, fruit, cereal, bread and drinks, all served in a beautiful old ceremony room which was very atmospheric.

However it was MASSIVELY let down by the sheer amount of noise coming from other guests. We barely slept here due to other very inconsiderate guests banging doors and talking in the lobby. We had the room under the dining room and could hear everything...especially the exceedingly rude guests next door to us who evidently felt it necessary to slam their room door when they left for an early morning balloon ride at 3.30am. Plus in the morning we could hear the staff setting up for breakfast and making a lot of noise. I would advise that the staff at this hotel should mention to their guests to respect others that maybe sleeping, or else they need to put in soft close doors so others aren't disturbed.

It was a real shame as it truly did spoil our stay here and for that reason alone I wouldn't return sadly.

CAPPADOCIA ABRAS CAVE HOTEL; 18th Century original chapel is a magnificent cave hotel.Cave used as a school during the period of the old Greek priest and history of our hotel guests a different experience of More the mystic will live. Serving with the concept of bed and breakfast hotels and boutique hotels, cultural tourism in Cappadocia in order to provide our guests a unique site has a lot of activities. Some of the chapel concept of western Christianity "special" you are called temples, Christianity big is the church of a saint's name separated small worship as places, especially in rural areas and in small places or roadside praying made to meet the religious needs and candles are burning place, a sort of Christian mosque, are small churches can define a diet.
