We are a family of four (two small kids). We booked a family room with four beds as we wanted to feel comfortable. Heating worked, water (including hot water) was running, there was a hair dryer and a boiling kettle availble. Wifi worked without any problem. Breakfast was standard and sufficient too. Eventhough our evaluation is quite high, it reflects... More

Water leaked slowly from where the toilet bowl joins the tiles. The perpetually damp shower made the living space smell stale. There's a reason we don't live in caves anymore, and... More

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. The location was perfect, - not too far, not too center of town either. Ali, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful. A nice and cozy hotel that's just perfect for a winter getaway. I would love to stay again.

Ali was an excellent host for our 2 night stay. He was knowledgeable and helped us arrange tours and even drove us to the Turkish show in the next town. Room in a cave was just as we wanted and was warm. We will come back here, good location.

This is a very affordable place with a stunning view. Very well located, this place gives you the cave experience without having to spend a fortune. Rooms are tiny, but staff is friendly, breakfast is good and terrace is great. Good value, would recommend!

Cappadocia is a historical region in Turkey’s Central Anatolia province with otherworldly landscapes of caves, clefts, pinnacles, “fairy chimneys” and sensuous folds in the soft volcanic rock, all formed by erosion. The troglodytestyle vernacular architecture of this region is very much a response to these geological formations. The Melek cave hotel is a great place to stay to experience the... More

Very warm cozy cave hotel with a very friendly and helpful owner, Ali! Really enjoyed our time there at Melek Cave hotel, very cozy and spacious rooms. Good for budget travellers looking for a authentic cave hotel experience! Just be careful of the low ceiling, bumped our head quite a few times when entering the toilet! But otherwise, great experience!... More
