This is my third stay at Egem Pansiyon, rooms are basic but clean & the tariff is cheap & the staff [who mostly don't speak English] are friendly & always give you a smile. Yes I'd come back again mainly because of the price & Canakkale is a good Turkish city with many good restaurants plus its opposite the Gallipoli...

The hotel is just in the center of Canakkale with its charming little narrow steets and about 50 meters from the sea and the ferriboat station, and about 150 meters from the naval museum. The breakfast is scarce which is not usual for Turkey. Otherwise, staff is very polite and helpful.

We arrived at Egem Pension in the afternoon and were greeted by two of the staff at reception. The hotel was quite easy to find from where the bus dropped us off (that was a different experience riding with Kamil Koç - I'd recommend Pamukkale). Anyways, once we arrived the staff could tell we were quite hot and bothered and...

Stayed here a few nights while visiting Gallipoli on a tour. This place is clean an comfortable and close to the ferry terminal. Most staff had very limited English, but the evening staff member was enthusiastic and very keen to practice with you. Breakfast was pretty good, served in the borrowed restaurant across the road.

This place is very well located to see the most interesting parts of Çanakkale, and also good to take a ferry or to arrive quickly from it (5 minutes walking). The rooms were comfortable and clean, although the shower was a little small. The staff is very kind and they can organize for you the trip to Troy or Gallipoli...

My wife and I stay at Egem Pension for 5 nights in April for the ANZAC centenary commemorations. Kadir at reception who speaks pretty good English was really helpful. We only booked the night before arriving and were luck to get a room at short notice during this busy period. Our first room was basic with a shared bathroom and...

We stayed here two nights with our 7 children and our neighbors and their children. It was a very simple place but in a great location on a cobble stone street in the heart of Canakkale. Breakfast was included and two women were there to cook eggs to order. Our rooms were clean and simple and the queen size bed...

Very kind staff welcomed us first. They helped us about parking with their free parkin place in the parking chaos of Canakkale roads. Parking lot was just 5mins away by walk. They gave us a big comfortable room that can't be placed in a humble pension. Because we all know right ? Pensions are just the places where you can...

Our room was clean and the beds comfortable, but the shower head was broken and the air conditioner did not work. We were tired and just dealt with it the night we got in, and told the staff about it next morning. We had also booked a tour for Gallipoli that morning. Within an hour of our reporting the problems,...

We had a clean and comfortable room. which was a little on the small side, but for one night no problem. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. The staff were attentive staff, and although car parking is limited on street outside, they ensured we had a space. Being so close to the town, and the ferry terminal,...
