Here are we in Aydin dag. This hotel is very ok depending on the purpose of semester. Here you can enjoy silence, water, sun. The idea of women facilities is outstanding. Before you decide to stay here think that you should have everything you need with you. There is no shops, and particularly no life arround the place. But you can always take a taxi to the village Germencik. And from Germincik a minibus or taxi to Aydin. That is a long journey about one hour, The service here is good. The dont speek english but you can communicate with bodylanguage or translation app. They are flexible and willing to help. The food is ok, not too bad, and too good. Sure recommended if things i named above is ok.
Nice room, stunning location, thermal pool gorgeous. Might just be cos it was very empty, but lights weren't switched on in the public area, indoor and outdoor pools were freezing and unusable. No tourist info available though there is a very nice lady there to tell you you can get to lots of interesting places by taxi (Kusadasi/Ephesus - 1 hour drive) The place was formerly a sanatorium/convalescent home andI'm afraid that's exactly how it feels. Think One flew over the cuckoo's nest - exactly the same piped music. You would have no idea you were in turkey (apart from virtually all staff speak only turkish) Food is definitely not 4 star - nice range of salad though. It's very hilly on the site so a little difficult for people with mobility problems and the grounds are quite limited so not much walking really.…
To celebrate our anniversary, my wife and I went to the Dag Termal. My shoulders and neck were arthritically painful, and as well as a celebratory trip, we both fancied the idea of the spa, massages, and hamam. We were not disappointed - the room and ensuite were well fitted, very efficient air conditioning, blowing warm (the weather was cold and wet), the food (buffet restaurant) was excellent, a good choice (Turkish ambiance), and the spa facilities were very good indeed. Absolutely all the staff were wonderful, and many of them spoke good English. We had a wonderful time, and left wishing we could stay longer, feeling cleansed and invigorated. The Spa facilities are segregated into Male-only and Female-only sections, each section has a Thermal pool (yes, the water's as hot as you can bear) and a Freshwater pool with warmed water, the Hamam (Turkish Bath), and massage rooms. There is also a Family Thermal pool, allowing male and female attendance together. Add to this a comprehensive Fitness Suite, and once you are booked in as a guest, all of this is included in the room price. Super value for money !! Alcohol is not served. Also, the first time you go, getting there has a twist to it. In Germancik, the main road has a railway line right next to it. Cross over the line at the traffic lights, and immediately double back, turning left, on the road on the other side. After about 400 metres, turn right (lokanta/teahouse on the corner) and follow the road out of Germancik and under the dual carriageway twin bridges. Shortly afterwards you will see a Dag Termal roadsign, the first of several. Just follow the signs as the road winds up into the foothills. Germancik to the hotel takes about 15 minutes. You will need a car or taxi to get there, parking's free.…
