I spent 7 days in Side Su, and I can say that the hotel is realy good. As you probably saw on pictures, restaurant is on the roof and I really liked that, the view is awesome from there, it was a pleasure having a meal with that view. Something about food in the restaurant - it was pretty good, not that various, but tasty. Especially sweets 🤭 I didn't like the fact that, for example, squeezed orange is extra of charge (I had All inclusive type of arrangement).
I paid for a room with a sea view, you can see in the pictures how it looked like. I really liked the room, it was clean, spacious, with a pretty good furniture. Changing of linen and towels was a some kind of problem in my case. It wasn't changed for 3 days, so I called the reception and problem was solved.
Beach is on 3 minutes by walk from hotel. Hotel has its own beach, so guests shouldn't pay for sunbeds. Beach and water are really clean, water is not cold, it's really pleasant. There is really nice safeguard, very good man, always willing to help 😊 Beach bar is not owned by the hotel, so if you want a drink, you should pay for it, and it's not that cheap.
The staff was really kind. Waiters and receptionist were good at English.
Big plus is the fact that the hotel is adults only.
All in all, it was great experience, great holiday. I really recommend this hotel. Definitely I will choose this hotel again if I have opportunity to come back to Side.
Greetings from Serbia! ✌️

Hotel is in a good position. Lovely walk into the old town, which is beautiful. Great bars along the way, too. Fabulous view from the restaurant.
The three pools are very clean and lots of sun beds, which are very comfortable. Free beach/pool towels.
The beach is very close to hotel, just a short walk. There was always a sun bed free for us, no matter what time of day we went.
Our room was very comfortable and clean. The bed was very good, would have preferred a double bed, even though beds were pushed together. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. Shower was great. Always lots of hot water. We were in the main building. It was a little noisy on some nights. We were positioned near the elevator and stairs; the gap above our door didn’t help the noise levels, but this wasn’t every night or indeed all night.
The air conditioning was very good. We hired the safe in the room for the holiday, it cost 80 lire for ten days. I think we would have preferred a room in one of the annex buildings around the pools.
The entertainment in the hotel was rather lacking. The music was a bit monotonous, too. I’m sure the present situation with COVID-19, had a lot to do with that and also the monotony of the food. There was very little choice and most days consisted of the same dishes. That being said, it was always tasty and fresh. The service in the restaurant was sometimes quite slow. It seemed sometimes it was easier for the waiters to serve the somewhat obnoxious guests, for an easier life, rather than serve those of us who had more respect and patience.
The wine and local spirit drinks were very good and were certainly substantial. If you wanted a weaker drink, you had to say so, rather than the other way round.
The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, this was a first for us (sorry) It was a welcome change.
If we chose to come to Side in an All Inclusive again, we would definitely consider Side Su as our hotel.
All in all, we had a lovely stay, with lots of very happy memories.

There was four of us me my mum and two sons we booked for two weeks .We got to the hotel just in time for tea 7.50 Friday night rooms were very comfortable the only thing was it was on the side of the hotel where the sun didn’t come on to the balcony till 4.00 tea time which me and my mum.loved . We arranged three trips the boys the Monday quod bikes the Wednesday jeep safari then the following Wednesday a trip to all the attractions had a lovely weekend the staff were so helpful food was really good. and our holiday rep came and we booked another trip to Alanya for the Friday on Monday morning we heard that the minister said that there was to be no flights going into or out of turkey then the boys went on their quads and for the rest of the day we panicked and the guy on reception said he know nothing infact he was useless (he was the only one )so rest of we didn’t know what was happening then my son got a email from our holiday company on Tuesday morning to say our flights had been cancelled and the next flight out was 1st May and the guy on reception the helpful one (not) said he know nothing again . So my son spent nearly all day Tuesday on the phone trying to get a flight back home and all he could get was £500 each which we couldn’t afford the staff in the restaurant and at the bar was so nice and helpful we had a great day Wednesday on the jeep safari then on the Thursday we managed to get a flight for the Saturday so we were coming home a week early so we made the most of the Thursday then Friday evening we spoke to the guy on reception the useless guy about our transfer to the airport the following day and he said it had been cancelled and we’d have to pay 60 euros for a private taxi as the shuttle which was 15 lira each wouldn’t be running as everything was closed so we paid 500 lira we made sure we gave the lads in the restaurant and the ones on the bar a tip . Then when we got to the airport on the Saturday three other couples tha had been told their transfer had been cancelled too were there and their got the shuttle which we were told wouldn’t be running so the guy on the reception had lied to us we had a love week and all the staff were brilliant except for that useless guy on reception I give the hotel their due they were brilliant

Holiday to Side Su Hotel, Side Turkey, 11th July 2022 for 7 nights.
If you only require the Sun and a pool for your holiday, then Side is the place for you, if you want, nightlife, small bars to visit, Restaurants, shopping, just avoid Side, as there are none of these things,
Side is Tourist Rip of country, everything is priced in Euros.
SIDE SU HOTEL
Plus points:
Staff excellent, particularly Pilar, Restaurant, Bar staff in reception bar and Room Cleaner.
Negative Points:
No Managers walking about talking to guests.
Bars shut at 2300 hours , after this time all drinks to be paid for at 3 euros per drink, 5 euros per cocktail.
Beach Towels, initial Towel free to get clean Towel 1 euro each. On leaving the hotel you are required to put towels back in to the place were you picked them up and receive a card to say Towel returned, this card to hand in to reception on leaving the hotel, we had a great deal of trouble getting the cards out of the staff, no card on leaving means paying for Towel on vacating the hotel, this could have caused problems as we left hotel at 0630 hours.
Safe in room, 1 euro per day.
Has a fruits Bar, in hotel, drinks are to be paid for.
Water in room, 1.5 liters per person free, then costs for extra.
Restaurant: initially looked brilliant, however should you attend 2nd sitting, restaurant looks like a tribl of vandals had eaten there, you need to ask staff for cutlery clean tables etc, or find the cutlery yourself.
Breakfast a disaster, toast machine is broken but still in use,
(health and safety hazard) even after being informed it was broken, it was still in use after 7 days.
Cooks have difficulty in frying eggs.
The hotel has 2 bars, one in reception area, and a bar called the Wall Bar, we attended this bar for a drink one evening at about 2030 hours, and were given 2 beers in plastic glasses, when we asked for glass glasses, we were informed you have to pay extra for glass to drink from, needless to say we walked out , never to return.
Water was cut of in the hotel 3 times during our visit.
The Beach:
The hotel has a bit of beach for there guests, the sun beds are in a grotty state.
There is a shack on the beach selling drinks and food (Nothing to do with the hotel) the food there I'dx disgusting 🤢 one bite on a burger and we returned them, we still had to pay for the meals. Don't eat there.
The hotel has a shuttle service, pick up at airport was brilliant, pick up to return to airport, did not turn up , we were required to get a Taxi, at a rip off price to get to the airport. We had to pay.
This is the first bad review I have ever written and we have travelled all over the World.

Although we've visited Turkey many times, this was our first everstay in an all-inclusive hotel, and to be honest, after reading some of the reviews here, we were a little concerned about what to expect. Firstly, if you have difficulty walking, this may not be the hotel for you as getting from one end of the hotel to the other requires negotiating several flights of stairs. The hotel consists of a main building and several other accommodation buildings. Initially, we were given a ground floor room in one of the buildings away from the main building. However, as we had requested a sea view and the only view we had was of one of the 3 pools, we asked at reception to be moved to a different room. They were absolutely fine with that, and within about half an hour, we were moved to a lovely room in the main building with a sea view, a good-sized bathroom with a large shower area and a king sized bed albeit with quite a hard mattress. The room was cleaned every day, and if you needed fresh towels, all you had to was put the used ones on the bathroom floor. Also, there was a card you could place on the bed if you wanted fresh bed linen.
We thought that the food at this hotel was really good. No, it's not full English or Sunday roast, but rather has more of a Turkish feel to it. A big choice of mezes and salads plus hot food such as fish, chicken, rice, vegetables, cakes and baklava etc and all very plentiful. Breakfast was of the usual continental style with eggs, cheeses, cold meats, salad, bread, cereals, and the like. We certainly never went hungry.
The drinks were OK but in our opinion not very alcoholic. The cocktails were very weak, and the beer tasted as if it had probably been watered down. The wine was OK but not the best quality.
The hotel has its own beach, which was among the many hotel beaches on the main strip. We went there a couple of times but preferred a small beach we found in the old town (about 30 minutes walk), which was a lot quieter.
We had no issues with the staff of the hotel they all seemed to be most pleasant. Not all of them spoke English, but we were able to make ourselves understand. There were mostly Germans staying at the hotel when we were there, but again, we had no problems with them at all.
All told we feel that for what we paid for this holiday, we had great value for money and had a really pleasant stay.

When you first arrive and look up, the Side Su is a rather nice but unassuming hotel front.
It is probably the management and staff ethos that makes this little hotel so special. Every single member of staff is at the very least pleasant but most do more, they smile, greet and are keen to engage. Personal service is fantastic whether providing drinks or clearing and cleaning tables from the spectacular roof-top restaurant at meal times or whether in the very comfortable lounge. The front desk staff are extremely helpful and rooms are kept spotless with regular bedding and towel changes.
The hotel has annex blocks but I stayed in the main building in room 1201. It was a large traditional room with a modern interior and mostly quiet. The room had lots of storage space, a fridge and kettle were provided with complimentary coffee sachets etc - the kettle is a nice touch. The bed and mattress is firm and comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower area with a good extraction unit and powerful shower. Complimentary gel, shampoo and conditioner bottles were also provided.
The balcony is a nice size and clean and pleasant to sit outside on. Free wifi worked well on the balcony and in the room and I was able to use my streaming service providers without any buffering or issues.

I was expecting a smaller hotel but it’s much bigger than I thought with 3 pools on different levels, great atmosphere at the pools with no fight for loungers etc you can get them anytime of the day! Plus there is a private beach area you can use for free only a few minutes walk.
Breakfast for me was my only downside as just not to my taste, but the lunch and evening meals made up for it, everything we had was beautiful and views to match on the rooftop terrace, desserts are to die for and you can never just have one!!
Rooms are very clean and well maintained although ours was a touch on the small side, but it didn’t matter as only sleep and change there, shower is the absolute best! Fridge in rooms filled with bottled water, hairdryer in bathroom and towels changed daily.
Plenty of shops nearby, lovely walk down the beach to the old harbour takes about 20 mins or jump on the dolmush!
All in all a fantastic place and the staff are suberb and work very hard to maintain the high standard, definitely would recommend!

The room was very clean and spacious, we had everything we wanted, AC, big bathroom, room was cleaned every day. Food was excelent, true turkish tastes for dinner lunch and breakfast. Location was just 3-4 minutes walk from it's own beach and some 20 minutes along the sea to the Antique Side town. I highly recommend.

I cannot believe the last reviewer stayed in the same hotel as us! We too started our 2 wk holiday with a private transfer arranged by the hotel. The driver messaged us before we left England so we had his number and was waiting exactly where we expected him to be. Our room was brilliant, a good size with a corner balcony and side sew view, exactly as we booked. The air conditioning was very efficient in extremely high temperatures. The room was cleaned every day and towels and sheets changed regularly, indeed in the case of the towels, every day.
The hotel does have a number of steps but this is clear before booking if hotel info / photos are considered and reviews read. Yes, English people were in a minority but we had some lovely conversations with fellow guests who were mainly Dutch, German or Polish.
The roof top restaurant has the most amazing views and the drinks service and food were brilliant. There was a massive variety of food but, as Turkey is a Muslim country, bacon wasn’t on the menu! Who needed it with the beautifully prepared and displayed selection on offer! Every lunch and evening there is a fantastic selection of hot food and a massive variety of beautiful salads and vegetables and every evening the menu is supplemented by a roof top BBQ.
The swimming pools were the cleanest we’ve ever swum in and there was always sunbeds to be had, both around the pools and on the hotel beach, a five minute stroll away.
The staff of this hotel work tirelessly to ensure everything is perfect for their guests. The cleaning and gardening/ maintenance team were constantly to be seen working hard but always with a friendly smile. The bars were always well staffed and the drinks were definitely NOT, as other reviewers have stated, watered down. The restaurant team were so friendly and efficient with drinks and clearing tables and we are very grateful to all the staff who obviously enjoyed working as part of the Side Su team for making our holiday one of the best we’ve had! The management team were very approachable and were regularly seen around the hotel and, indeed, I had a lovely morning chat with the finance manager Kabir about the downright incorrect information given in other reviews. In my opinion, if you greet people with a friendly smile and hello and you do not have unrealistic ideas of what you should get for the amount of money you pay, you cannot beat the Side Su! In life, you reap what you sow!
Read the reviews, google earth the beautiful old town and choose your room style carefully and you’ll not be disappointed!

We had booked a family room 2 bedroom with the garden view at Su Side hotel at Side.
When we saw the room and completed that the room is unsatisfied. We were told the room we booked is with the garden and that is what we got. But there was no garden just a ditch and the wall.
We were offered a another room much smaller( 1 room with the double bed and a sofa bed) by the pool, but pool was dry and no water.
The receptionist I think Jangis was so rude, he was laughing and mocking us while showing the rooms.
At the end we were told that we can pay 50 euro extra pr night for better room or cancel our booking.
We very happy to leave this hotel as 1 km away we found a 5 star Melas Village Hotel at the same rate and much much better service. Hotel lush and green and on the coast line.
We will never recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel had bad vibes.
