The hotel has several bars and restaurants to choose from, and the food was always very good. The main dining room is very large with plenty of tables - we never had to wait to be seated.
The bedrooms are a little small, but they are cleaned everyday and they come with complimentary slippers, robes, minibar, and safe. The free wifi in the hotel is very good and is available in all areas, inc the beach.
The hotel was at full capacity but there were always sun beds available on the beach, even at midday. The complimentary beach towels in the branded tote bag was a nice touch!
The location of the hotel is perfect - the promenade outside the hotel is full of bars, shops and restaurants. Side Old Town and ruins are a 20 minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel and location is very well suited for wheelchair access.

This hotel is the best!!! Even though we were the only English there .the room,a standard double was just right,with air con,a mini bar(included in all inclusive)dressing gowns,a beach bag with towels that can be changed daily,toiletries including the most amazing hair conditioner. Food was good ,you will never be hungry.beach is great.my husband had a go on the jetski next door and loved it,pool bar amazing.its not ur usual tiny plastic glass,they even have glass tankards,cocktails are good and u can dictate the alcohol content(all good brands)staff mosty great,saher at pool bar was my fave,sunbeds are taken by same people every day but we perfered sitting at poolbar tables out of the heat,the entertainment was great.pool party,turkish gala was really good(see photos)and i won at bingo !!!! Not a bad word to say really.although i reccomend to go on a jeep safari and to see the old town at night

Stayed here for a week in sea view room. Very impressed with cleanliness, facilities and staff, who were always friendly and remembered your drinks order. Every inch of hotel was spotless, cleaners were very thorough. Food was ample and always a good choice, I’m quite fussy eater but always found something delicious! Desserts were gorgeous. Lovely walk into Side old town, don’t miss Appollonik bar next to temple of Apollo, fantastic little bar and so friendly. You do get pestered waking in town by vendors but we found if you wear face mask they tend not to bother you. Gorgeous hotel and location and we will definitely be back!!

Lovely hotel to stay at - for what you pay it definitely does the job. Room is standard, very clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pool is nice, and we particularly loved the private beach - note that you need to get the sunbeds early! The animation team try to be engaging and enclusive, and some entertainment nights were better than others but we did really enjoy the Cuban Circus night. There were lots of cats around the hotel and in the streets nearby, although they seem well fed and looked after. I must note that the food was on and off - some nights there were great options and it was tasty, other nights not so much. Lots of restaurant options nearby, but be weary that you will try and get dragged into them when you walk past. Regarding COVID, you must wear masks around the hotel and wear a glove at the buffet, as well as spraying the sunbeds with disinfectant at the end of the day. Apart from that there is no social distancing. Note that when booking through TUI, make sure the app is working and be aware that the Rep doesn’t offer much around the area and tries to sell you the most expensive excursions, which are not always what you ask for. Overall it’s a very clean hotel with friendly staff and in a lovely area.

The hotel itself is very small, but very clean. The food is excellent and it is served all day, except when we arrived at the hotel late first night, they told us the restaurant is closed and we have to go outside 1 km away to find place to eat and we were very tired. Last day they told us to leave the room very early and our flight was at 6 pm. We asked receptionist to stay longer in the room and she just wrote 25 euros on the little paper. All the animations are in German language, so the rest of the people doesn’t feel comfortable. This is a good place if you speak German, and like to eat all day. The beach is very small and crowded. It is not worth five stars and money. But the center of Side city is very beautiful.

An elegant hotel in the center of Side. A perfect place for autumn and winter holidays. Directly in front of the hotel there is a whole range of shops and service outlets. Rooms small but equipped with everything you need. Minibar replenished daily with soft drinks and beer. Delicious food in the form of very rich buffets - only it is worth changing the way of frying omelettes (they are not very tasty when fried with the wrong fat). Excellent service in restaurants and bars, which even guesses the needs of guests - the only remark: very poor knowledge of English among the staff, which sometimes causes awkward or funny situations. Well organized Christmas and New Year's Eve dinner. The New Year's Eve party did not cause any inconvenience to the guests who did not participate in it (apart from the not very successful and noisy DJ performance before and after midnight). Massages offered by the hotel spa at a high level. Prices in the spa and at the hotel hairdresser are very affordable (it is not worth looking for a massage outside the hotel, because the price is pleasing, and the quality and hygiene outside the hotel leaves much to be desired). The hotel deserves its 5* rating.

This hotel is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and well-equipped, towels and linen are changed as frequently as you want and the minibar is well stocked with drinks replaced daily. The whole complex is beautifully clean and very well maintained. The food and drink is of an excellent standard; very plentiful, and a varied choice is always on offer. You will certainly never be hungry! The hotel is in a fantastic location, right on the soft, sandy beach, and around a 15 minute walk into the pretty old town. A range of shops is right on the doorstep. Both the pools and the sea are sparkling and warm.
What really makes this hotel, however, is the staff. Everybody is friendly and incredibly hardworking, and they cannot do enough for you.
We travelled as a family of eight, with three generations, and we all had a marvellous time. We would definitely return to this hotel again in the future.

I'm on vacation in the SideStar Beach Hotel right now, we stayed 3 nights already and gonna stay for 6 days more. Pros - good tasty food with lots of meat, fish and greenary, nice staff, animation only at the evening time, almost no families with kids, territory is very small but there's plenty of places outside you may go for walking. Now the cons - the worst part about this hotel (like all hotels on this beach I guess) very little sunbeds on the beach, you have to come at 6am if you want to take a sunbed. At 7 all seats are busy already, people leave their towels and go away, though it's restricted to book the sunbeds beforehand. The hotel administration doesn't do anything about it. There are some sunbeds on the lawn and by the pool but when the hotel is full that doesn't help. Also very simple rooms with tiny bathrooms and terrible pillows (so hard!) Would say that the hotel is for tourists with simple tastes.

I stayed in the hotel for 18 days in August. The staff were extremely accommodating to anything I asked for in the dining room, the bar, and reception. Guest relations staff were excellent. Some got to know my name making me feel very much at home. I wanted to get two friends to the hotel for my second week. They were told by their travel agent that the hotel was fully booked. I went straight to Serkan the hotel manager and he made it happen. He's probably the best hotel manager I've ever had contact with. He invited me to sit down with him twice for coffee when I wanted to consult with him. He deserves some sort of Hotel management award. When I return to Turkeythe town of Side and this hotel is at the top of my list. Thanks again.

A lovely hotel in a superb location just steps away from its private section of beach. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, pool and beach which our 16 and 19 year old daughters were happy about. Rooms although not big are very nice, cleaned and complementary mini bar restocked every day. Food/drink and themed evenings excellent, and spotlessly clean everywhere, staff are a credit to the hotel. We felt well looked after although predominantly German guests the staff would try English once they knew you weren’t German speaking. Plenty of sun beds either around the pool, grassy area or on the beach…many towels are put out early around the pool but we always got 4 beds together (mainly on the beach but that’s what we prefer) around 10am. Easy and very safe feeling 20/25 min walk along the promande into the old town of Side and it’s historic sites and shops. We went with Tui and they don’t really cater for UK guests as all notice boards are in German but that’s not down to the hotel. In summary we had a great holiday and would go back for sure.
