The hotel is nice, located right by the sea and not far from the old town. The rooms are situated in a quiet inner courtyard where there is no noise from the city or other hotels. The staff are responsive. Overall, it is an excellent value for the price.

Really atmospheric place that gives you feeling of freedom and care. Located close to the sea (very close;) and to the old town ( for early birds it's a good chance to see the sunrise on the rocky coast). Then to enjoy healthy breakfast served by the most friendly staff ever 🙂 , then swimming and sunbathing, and when it's too hot - lunch at the "kale beach restaurant" and sightseeing walk or just rest at the cosy room. To make a long story short, this place has almost everything to make your stay pleasant and unforgettable. So to prove my words just enjoy my photos 🙂

I read previous reviews and I must admit that I was a bit dubious but I needn't have worried. The chalets were fine although they probably needed a bit updating in the bathrooms but very clean throughout. All of the staff went over and above to ensure we had everything we wanted. We visited a number of restaurants for lunch and dinner but found the food in the hotel restaurant probably the best And we received 10% discount due to staying in the hotel. The location couldn't have been better, next to the beach with a number of restaurants and bars along the promenade and we enjoyed walks down to the old town along the promenade which took about 20 mins.

If it’s a quiet location then this is not the place for you! The GUA restaurant turns into a nightclub from 12:00 into the early hours every night. We stayed in our room for one night with little sleep. The hotel accommodated our request to move to quieter rooms which helped. Nowhere on the reviews did it mention this. We would not have booked if it had.
Breakfast is Turkish .. if you don’t like eggs, salad, cheese and bread each day then there are various bars and restaurants nearby where you can purchase breakfast for £10. Food very fresh. We had dinner here one night and the food was delicious.
Side is not cheap. It’s on par with Englands prices but with great weather and views. Most days at breakfast we were ignored by staff who chose to cater for other nationalities until we asked if we could be served. Some days we were waiting 20-25 minutes without being offered a glass of water. The restaurant is badly managed which is a shame as it’s such a stunning place.
Good points: Bohemian feel to the place. It is basic but that’s what we like. It was clean, and we got extra pillows and blankets on request. It’s right on the beach. No pebbles, spotless with waiter service from GUA restaurant. Reception staff & all other staff absolutely lovely and very helpful. Manager very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is managed much better than the restaurant. Our AHU broke and the maintenance person fixed it the same day.
Feedback. Showers not so good. They could do with replacing. Two free bottles of water each day which is a nice touch. It would be better if the cleaners could put these in the fridge so they are cold.
We won’t be going back but if you like to party into the night then this is the place for you!!

The hotel was lovely & clean with the cleaners coming in every day & cleaning the room making the bed/leaving water. The private beach is lovely with the beds being really comfortable & the staff reserving the front ones for the guests at the hotel. We ate lunch at the hotel most days & all of the food tasted amazing (as well as the cocktails) Our aircon was leaking one evening & they sent someone out to fix it within a matter of hours. The hotel staff couldn’t do enough for us, they arranged for us to have a Turkish bath before arrival and were really helpful with any questions that we had. The decor of the hotel is truly beautiful, and really stands out on the strip as the best hotel there. The only thing I could say as a suggestion for the hotel is to have a variety of food for breakfast, the traditional Turkish breakfast was tasty but it got a bit boring after a day or two but overall the hotel is great & I would definitely visit again!

I was very disappointed and felt many of the reviews were different to how I found it, and I would not have gone somewhere else had I not prepaid. If cutting back on the nightly spend on accomodation is a major consideration then this hotel is adequate, but there are many nearby hotels where spending a little more would have resulted in a more enjoyable and memorable stay. The rooms are a good size but basic, and the bathroom needed refurbishment; it is close to a not so great beach; there is a lot of noise late into the night from nearby establishments; the smell of the adjoining restaurant’s exhaust fan is ever present (some rooms are only metres from the outlet); bedding does not include a doona - just a thin woven cotton sheet that is not warm enough for the cool nights; breakfast is provided by the adjoining restaurant and after a long wait gets brought to your table (no choice of food) and juice or anything extra is not included. The reception staff were excellent though.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Location is first class on the lovely West beach and its close to Side Museum. Kale Beach Otel can be commended for their lovely restaurant Gua (like a Buddhar bar!) and beach club in front. Food is well presented. If you want to pamper yourself at the beach club, here is ideal on comfortable sunbeds. In the hotel their cleanliness is a high standard, with rooms serviced daily. The inclusive breakfast was good. Staff were prompt to attend to my requests and communicated well. This stay would be perfect if guests could eat their breakfast in beach-front cafe side to look at the sea. (*take note Team! ) I'd like to thank Halit, Umut, Ismail for being excellent hosts, from the minute I checked-in to caring for my baggage drop on the last day! Your whole team made my stay so pleasant!

We loved this place, good cost, comfy bed, right on the beach and adjoining a truly beautiful restaurant where we ate extremely well. Lovely manager and staff who gave us great service across the board. The only thing I could fault them for was that we didn't have any hot water in the room, which was disappointing. We were only staying for one night, if we were staying longer, it might have been an issue, but for our quick jaunt, it was fine. If that issue was fixed, I'd happily stay here again. Great spot to see Side and all the surrounding attractions.

Although we had an excellent holiday with many positives, we will not be returning to this hotel.
Fantastic location, walking distance to the old town which is beautiful, many options for local fresh cuisine and cocktail bars (UK prices generally).
The beach was excellent, very clean, clear warm waters. The beach staff were excellent, couldn't fault them and the beach food menu was of excellent quality.
Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, very fresh and healthy. Service at breakfast was slow but staff were happy to help.
The room was very clean and freshly prepared each day. Bathroom was sufficient but shower was of a low quality.
The hotel itself is attached the hotel restaurant which doubles as a nightclub. We were told when we checked in that music would end at 1am (we were ok with this), the music went on until 3/4am every night of our 10 night holiday. The music was so loud, we could hear every word clearly from our bed. We requested to move multiple times at reception but they said nothing could be done. No alternative solution was provided and frankly, they didn't really care, so we left our holiday feeling more tired than when we arrived!
Despite the positives and although we will likely return to Side, we will NOT be returning to this hotel and would NOT recommend to others.

Waiters Deniz, Mustafa,Irfan, Umit, Yusuf, Muhammed are very polite and helpful guys. Hope to meet you next year J;-D. These guys were serving the best drinks and also took care of me and my friends when we needed them. They were smiley and ready to help whenever we needed any assist.
