Hats off to Jet2 for choosing to feature this hotel, which is a real gem of a place! The staff looked after us so well, and there were no hidden extras whatsoever. While away, we love to try local food, and there was plenty to choose from at the buffet, which was managed well by the hotel: staff to serve you, plus disposable gloves to wear in the areas where you could select for yourself. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis, unlike some other places we’ve heard of recently. I would recommend the massages at the spa - an extra expense, but very reasonable compared to the UK. Would definitely return, and recommend!

It has come to the end of my two week stay at CE. I usually visit CE with my husband, but this year for the first time I came alone. Levent bey (Reception Manager) took care of my room booking, provided me with a quiet room location and was always on hand to answer any questions I had before and during my stay. A wonderful kind man who I can trust and turn too.
I was taken care of from the moment I arrived at CE.
Erdogan at the security gate was so welcoming and caring. Then I was approached by Sercan (the luggage handler/bell boy), who greeted me with such a warm smile and we were so happy to see each other after not being able to visit Turkey for two years. He took my luggage, checked me in and kindly explained the processes the hotel has put in place to safeguard visitors against COVID.
Emine at reception was wonderful as always.
My room was a quiet room with a sea view. I had enough time to just make dinner. For dinner, it is expected to wear a plastic glove and a mask whilst self serving food. The necessary safeguarding procedures were well maintained. There was a large range of food and very delicious as always.
During breakfast I saw Nazife abla, she immediately welcomed me to the hotel and remembered I only eat helim (houlloumi cheese). She ensured I had grilled helim each morning, even when she was on annual leave. A great service and very much appreciated!
Murat, my favourite waiter was amazing. My husband and I have built a good relationship with him over the years and it was so good to see him and hear he had a baby boy since our last visit. Murat took care of me during each breakfast and lunch meal. As soon as i sat down I had my Turkish tea, fresh mint tea and water on the table. He was kind, professional and personable. He always went above and beyond to cater for my needs and it was like having an older brother looking out for me. Murat is a great employee and should be praised by Management. Hopefully the hotel bring back the monthly praise award for employees and Murat is successful.
I really enjoyed the sports classes/activities and Deybet and Pinar were great gym instructors. Pinar also took some time daily to show me yoga moves and when I go back to the UK, I’ll carry on with my new hobby - yoga.
It was good to see Cenk bey again, he ensures the hotel runs smoothly and makes time to speak to all guests.
All staff were great, very professional, always available to answer questions and I also got to practice my Turkish speaking skills!
A wonderful stay and highly recommend this wonderful hotel. The staff make yourself stay special.

We were anxious about going abroad during this time however, all our fears were alleviated when we pulled up at the entrance, where we were welcomed by the reception staff who took our temperature and disinfected our cases. It was all done very smoothly and without fuss. The hotel was spotlessly clean, we regularly saw skirting boards and surfaces being cleaned throughout the hotel and beach. The staff were second to none, although English wasn’t a language everyone spoke fluently, those who did communicated brilliantly and helped us out. Special mention to Aleksandra from the entertainments team who was always happy and friendly and had time for you and Onder the pool waiter. Who remembered your drink from day 1. Yunus the bar waiter in the evenings looked after us extremely well although his English was not a language he spoke well, he always remembered what we drank and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the omelette lady at breakfast, she remembered us every day and was happy to see us . We can’t wait to return next year and would recommend 100% .

Just returned from my 3rd visit to probably my favourite Turkish hotel. I went with mydaughter. Before entering the hotel, a member of staff takes your temperature, and disinfects your luggage. As we were the only ones to be checking in at just after midnight, it was done very quickly. It was explained to us about wearing face masks in the dining room, and that it would probably be best to wear them whilst inside the hotel (but that was not mandatory).
Everything about this hotel is great, rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, and have everything you need including a decent hairdryer and good quality toiletries. There is a pack of facemasks provided too at this time.
Food is excellent, always so much to choose from. I would like to give a special mention to Murat who looked after us very well and was always happy and helpful.
On the beach, sunloungers have been spaced out even more than they already were. Still a lovely touch to receive refreshing ice cold towels through the day. Another mention goes to Omer who looked after our bar needs, and had a chat when he wasnt busy.
Big credit to ALL the staff who have to carry out their duties in such a hot climate whilst wearing face masks. Thanks to all the cleaning staff who kept everywhere spotlessly clean.Everyone made the holiday experience as near normal as possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and cant wait to come back, hopefully soon.

Upon arrival, the receptionists greeted us with champagne. A pleasant surprise on the beach are refrigerators with chilled drinks, chilled mini towels and uniform white-gold beach bags. Great is the floating pool bar with mixed fruit drinks and fruit delivery. Entertainment: unforgettable was the pomegranate party, Foam parties, Dance lessons, and evening performances like in Cirque du Soleil or Moulin Rouge. A sense of security is ensured by security and receptionists at the exits of the hotel. Wonderful toilets throughout the hotel. The fairytale patisserie also has coffee with whipped cream and ice cream. Catering incredibly diverse in large quantities, grills are luxurious. The hotel staff is respectful and attentive, from cleaning to the director, who communicates with guests in a friendly manner. Mr. Levent Canyurt-front office manager willingly dealt with us with various wishes and a birthday party.

Due to Covid travel restrictions we have not been able to return, it has been 2yrs since our last visit, we did wonder how Covid would be handled throughout the hotel, in answer, perfectly, sanitiser stations throughout the hotel, mask compulsory when moving around indoors and gloves mandatory in restaurant for food service - excellent this is enforced to ensure everyone's safety.
On check-In you are greeted with a warm friendly greeting and drink fetched for you despite the early hour (01.00)), forms completed and you sign agreement to adher to hotels covid policy. Luggage taken to your room for you and all controls explained.
Everywhere throughout the hotel, rooms, lobby, pool, beach, restaurants and garden areas are all cleaned and maintained ta a very high standard, spotless.
Great selection of food always available, standards continually monitored by management, who also eat in restaurants ensuring high standards are meet, although everyone goes above and beyond to ensure guests are never disappointed or left waiting for drinks, cutlery or food. We have eaten in Bistro, Buffet and Mediterranean A La Carte all fabulous.
This time for medical reasons we have taken advantage of the fantastic Spa and Massage facilities, amazing from both Abbas and Sevla, definitely recommend and have helped tremendously with pain and walking - thank you does not go far enough to show our appreciation.
The beat show is without doubt Rainbow Classixs Il Divo Tribute, superb.
This hotel is definitely underrated by Jet2, most definitely a 5* with the attention to detail, extra little touches and level of service.
This is our 10th visit and already looking forward to the 11th for New Year. A huge thank you to everyone for making our holiday so fabulous.

We spent a week at the Commodore Elite in early Feb 2023. We have had many holidays in different countries and this is one of the best, if not the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The location, on the beach front was great with a promenade stretching in both directions. The food was tasty and excellent at all meal times as was the All Inclusive drinks. All staff were very friendly, smiling and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily and complimentary drinks in the fridge were replaced including two bottles of water plus the sachets for tea and coffee making. The free wi-fi worked well throughout the hotel. The email on our Ipads and Iphones did not work, (we use BT mail). I am guessing there is some kind of block on the email client protocol. A workaround we used was to use a browser to logon to the BT email login webpage. Despite reading on the web to the contrary in Turkey, WhatsApp was not blocked. The safe in the room was large and free of charge A convenient bus stop, five minutes walking distance away provided links to Side and Manavgat. Fares in Feb 2023 were 1 Euro each way. Both Side and Manavgat have outdoor markets on certain days. We walked back to the hotel along the beach front from Side. It is about 5 miles. The guests when we were there were probably 85% German but were all friendly so this was not an issue to any of the British guests to whom we spoke. This was our first time to Turkey and we will return. Tips about Side. Turkey is not in the EU so you will probably have to turn Roaming off on your mobileor buy a package to avoid a hefty bill. Take Euros as all shop prices are displayed in Euros rather that Turkish Lira. Even Antalya Airport duty free prices are in Euros. Don’t use the Currency Exchanges for changing Pounds to Euros as we were quoted a terrible rate. Take Euros with you.

We had visited this hotel in 2019 for a one week vacation, and we have just arrived back from the second visit that took 10 days. The hotel is definitely a five star: deluxe suite is amazing - it does really worth, the food is delicious in each restaurant, the staff is really kind and do their job properly. Entertainment events are extremely colorful, we did really enjoy the international theme nigts in Sunset restaurant and music on main stage. Level of soundproof in the room is impressive compared to other hotels, we have not heard anything from the neighbors. Interior swimming pool and spa are fantastic, gym is sufficient and definitely you gonna need it after you had eaten every meals, waffles and ice creams served in the afternoon. We felt really safe due to the restrictions they applied against COVID: checking temperature at arrival, must using mask in the interior areas, must using gloves in the restaurants. Obviously there is always room for improvement, but I can highlight only minor suggestions: the hamburger is not so delicious in the Bistro, the staff does not speak in english, some reconstruction would be needed at the exterior pools, and separation for non-smoking area at the pool would be really nice. All in all it is the best 18+ hotel we ever visited. Many thanks Commodore Elite Suites&Spa, definitely we will come back third time as well in 2022!

When you visit different places, its always good to try speaking in the native tongue rather than expecting everyone just to speak English. It does get a bit disheartening when everyone then replies to you in German. Nothing wrong with Germans but I am not one so it would be nice if people reply in Turkish, they would see know that I’m english.
Having said that, the place is an amazing hotel, everything is catered for with numerous places to eat and drink and the staff are so attentive and very friendly. Everywhere is kept absolutely spotless and all fridges around the hotel are kept constantly stocked with water which is great when the temperature peaks at 36 degs.
We stayed in a romance suite with a whirlpool bath on the balcony and the views were spectacular, such a nice way to end the day with a relaxing soak in the tub overlooking the sea. Housekeeping do an amazing job of keeping the rooms clean and minibar restocked so a nice cold beer watching the world go by adds to the experience.
Food is a good quality and a must is booking the A La Carte restaurant for at least one visit during your stay, food is excellent and plentiful. We went on Italian night and it was superb, there is also a fish evening but didn’t go on that night as one of us doesn’t eat fish.
No need to change money into Turkish lira, everywhere takes euros but we found it a bit pricey in the local bars at around 11 euros a pint. Local shops sell good quality Turkish originals of all well known designer brands, a good haggling experience but the prices reflect the fact that you’re in a tourist area.
Overall a wonderful holiday and a great hotel to visit, I would definitely recommend staying here.

I have to say this is possibly the best holiday hotel we have stayed in! This 5* star hotel is a credit to it’s rating in every aspect from the layout, maintenance, cleanliness and staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed the staff could literally not have done anymore to make you feel so welcome. The bars, restaurants and cafes were staffed by the most attentive and polite people we have come across in a hotel anywhere and made sure you were well looked after. The food in the restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner was of a high standard and had numerous options for both hot and cold dishes catering for all. And if that isn’t enough, you could have a snack at the Elite bar or ice cream, cakes etc in the very well decorated cafe.
The main pool area was kept spotlessly clean with the bar staff constantly coming around and serving drinks at your request.
The rooms themselves were cleaned to a very high standard with towels and bedding etc changed everyday!
We will definitely be returning next year it was that good, but if l had one gripe to make it would be that men should be given the option to wear tailored shorts in the Sunset Restaurant as opposed to trousers.
