Reviews summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
The Arnor De Luxe Hotel & Spa offers a mix of experiences according to guest reviews. While its location earns praise for being close to attractions and public transport, opinions on value and room quality show a divide; some guests find it economical and spacious, while others report issues with air conditioning and cleanliness. The staff's service is often described as friendly, yet inconsistencies have been noted.
Amenities like the clean beach and entertainment are popular, but the pool's size and air conditioning have room for improvement. Overall, the vibrant atmosphere and family-friendly vibes are highlighted positively.

Detailed Reviews
We came to turkey for ten days, we saw this hotel whilst staying at a previous hotel and thought this hotel looks amazing! We went on the 5th morning during our duration to enquire about staying our last 5 nights at arnor. When we pulled up to the front of the hotel the staff were very very rude, it wasn’t just one employee, it was three of them that had no respect for potential guests. At first they didn’t seem to understand what we were asking (we are English) they then asked another member of staff who was English literate to converse with us. Upon finally speaking to someone who could understand and converse with us , we explained that we were looking to spend the next five nights at this hotel. We weren’t bothered about the pricing we just wanted to spend our last few nights there. The staff member then abruptly and disrespectfully said “we only accept reservations that are made online, you shouldn’t be here, leave” she then turned her back and walked off towards the other staff members who then started laughing at us. Please note we were prepared to spend a lot of money at this hotel. Anyway a day later my husband becomes friends with a taxi driver, they begin to talk and my husband explains that he really wanted to stay at Arnor, unexpectedly the taxi driver explained that he was friends with one of the female managers at the hotel, and that he would enquire with her on our behalf to see if he can get us a reservation. By the next night the taxi driver organised and booked our stay at ARNOR via his female acquaintance. Aside from the fact that our first impressions were or the staff being very rude we wanted to be at this hotel because it simply looked beautiful!
When we arrived into the hotel we were mesmerised, everything from the rooms, to food, to pools to the facility were absolutely faultless. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the staff.
We have just booked to come to ARNOR again for our full ten nights in June as our previous 2nights stay was magical and relaxing. The hotel was so elegant and modern and had a real sense of cleanliness and sleek feel.
I hope during our next stay in June the staff are more welcoming and approachable. Only from our most recent booking and from looking at previous guests photos we are now are that the hotel offer a bus to the beach where the hotel provide sun loungers etc.
To hotel management please please retrain your reception and welcome staff to be more hospitable, respectful and refrain from judging people, as your staff that are outside the entrance are the only thing that devalues this hotel.
I would have given this hotel a 5 star review rating but because of the staff that we encounter at the entrance and reception unfortunately we can only stretch to a 4star.
We look forward to seeing how things have developed in June 2021.

Very good hotel , clean amazing decor and mostly good service. Good customer relations and general good staff.
Pros
Buffet wide sections of food and mostly very nice.
We loved the beach and restaurant.
Very nice decor.
Shops in the hotel.
Spa had a scrub and massage.
Clean rooms.
Late check out
Cons
Al carte meal was unedable due to the beef being so tough. Very disappointed.
Selection of drinks cocktails are just juice mixed in with a shot of food colouring - would be nice to have more flavour. No other Selection except one for spirts.
Ice cream only allowed at certain parts of the day.
Rooms have very thin walls can here lots of other guests in other rooms.
Sunlougers guest would put towels on and not use them all day this need to be measured better.
All in all the stay was good but for a 5* would like it to be more luxury with the points above.

This hotel is amazing! We are here on the last day of our 2 week stay and are sorry to be going home. Our first visit to Side in Turkey and we love this place and its convenient location within easy reach of everything. Everything has been perfect for our holiday but most of all, the staff have made us feel welcome and helped us with any issues or queries that we may have had or needed during our stay. The rooms are modern and comfortable (we are a family of 4 with 2 young teenagers) and we had a spacious family room with 2 separate rooms within, to allow privacy. The hotel facilities are great, including the restaurants which have food available all around the clock with plenty of choice for all tastes, including fussy children like ours. The restaurant staff are very attentive polite and work very hard to serve you. A special mention for Fevzi, one of the restaurant managers who is ever so welcoming to everybody, and despite working so hard daily to oversee the smooth operation of the restaurants, he always makes time to talk to you and ensure everything is ok and you are happy with everything - a credit to the hotel.
Around the hotel there are so many activities and things to do for all ages arranged by the hardworking entertainment team all day long -Azra was very helpful to us from the team. The pool is big and never seems too overcrowded with plenty of sunloungers and a restaurant nearby. During our time here, we also got to be part of Arnor's 4th birthday party, this was the highlight of our stay, it was such an amazing celebration! We also had some amazing massages at the relaxing spa on site which helped relieve any tension at the start of our holiday.
The actual hotel itself is very modern and contemporary, and everything is cleaned to a very high standard including the bedrooms which have daily bedsheet and towel changing. Around the hotel there are many areas to stop for a drink or have afternoon tea and cakes. The hotel has great air conditioning so you always appreciate this when you walk in.
Most of all during our stay, I would like to give a very special mention to Sevda, the friendly guest relations manager who goes out of her way to ensure you have a great stay at Arnor. On our first day, we had a small issue with our room which I was unhappy about and she very quickly resolved this for us to exceed our expectations and make things better. I also booked my son's birthday party through her at the a la carte restaurant and she took care of this. She is passionate about everything she does for the guests in order to ensure they have a smooth and perfect stay at Arnor - special credit goes to her.
Thank you for everything to all the lovely staff that took care of us here, we will definitely be returning to Arnor Deluxe hotel, and definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the Side area.

We stayed a week during the month of August this year. The room was great, probably one of the very few things we liked. The beach was very disappointing, and far from the hotel. It was overcrowded, the private beach was small and it looked a mess honestly.
As far as the food goes: tacos, sushi and a few other dishes had barely any taste. There was no coffee either.
It’s true that the baristas at the pool would smirk or laugh at the order we gave them, which is very disrespectful for them to do so.
Some of the serves/waiters would mumble in turkish when they talked to us, or they would forget our order.
The SPA guy was annoying. Trying to get us to the SPA by asking repeatedly throughout the days we were there.
And last but not least, there were more people than the number of sunbeds at the pool. We had to reserve them early in the am, because the rule was to leave a towel there and attend it not later than 2-3 hours. One day a couple removed our towel and didn’t care. We went to speak to the manager who clearly couldn’t speak english fluently and gave us no solution other than “do u want to go to the beach instead” or “they can remove your towel and take the sunbed, but u can’t do the same to others”
For a 5-star newly open hotel I expected much more and I doubt I will ever go back.

My family of 4 visited the Arnor De Luxe at the end of August 2022. The hotel is not the worst I've ever stayed in and it is not the best I've stayed in either. It must be mentioned that the hotel is predominantly made up of guests from Russia, Germany, Netherlands and the Middle East and so subsequently the hotel caters for them. So as a family from the UK, we struggled at times, especially with the food.
To ensure a fair and balanced review I will begin with the good things about the hotel. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff are helpful and friendly. At this point i must say that a significant portion of the guests at the hotel are the ones who are extremely rude and could do with polishing up their manners. A simple "please" or "thank you" is completely free of charge to say. A lot of the guests simply bark their demands to the staff.
The patisserie is really good too and great to get out of the sun for a drink and piece of cake.
Location is OK. It is situated in a scruffy/run down part of Side - but is close to the Harbour, which is beautiful. It takes around 20 minutes to walk. The hotel is situated away from the private hotel beach. We never found this a problem as there are 2 buses running continually each day, so you never wait more than 5 minutes for a bus to arrive and the journey time on the bus is less than 5 minutes,
The beach is OK. The snack bar there is really good and staff are excellent. The water is shallow, which was great for our young children. At times, parts of the beach did look a little untidy but in general the beach was OK.
Now for the not so good. The food gets really repetitive and is not really catered for holiday makers from the UK. The hotel also has a problem with keeping their food hot at the buffet. There were a few occasions that my food was cold by the time I'd got back to my table. The snack bar by the pool and at the beach were the best. Efes beer is served on draft and is very weak and/or diluted. No other beer is available at the hotel.
The pool area is pretty good, but is far too small for the number of guests at the hotel and so you have to get up early to get yourself a sunbed. Even doing this doesn't guarantee you'll keep the bed as a lot of the guests move your towels, so i had several arguments with other guests during my stay. Not great when you're holiday! The slides are open at certain times throughout the day, which is pretty common is Turkey. Unfortunately I sliced my finger open on one of the slides as they are quite rough when going down and had to visit the hotel medical team.
Entertainment was not the best, in comparison to other hotels is Turkey. The staff are friendly and good with the children but the evening shows are pretty poor
The room has a strange design with no real bathroom. There is a door that opens to a toilet only and another door that opens to a shower room and then the sink area is next to the double bed.
Overall, I wouldn't come back to the hotel as there are better hotels in the area for a similar price.

My aim is to be as honest as I can with my review so it may be helpful to both the hotel and potential guests.
This hotel is aesthetically pleasing, amazing grand hallways with their sofas to lounge on it really is lovely to look at and probably (some areas a little worn already) is a 5 star to "look at"
Unfortunately that's where my 5 star review ends.
Cats walk freely around every area of this hotel even where food is served! If you don't like cats you have been warned!!
The first greeting upon our 11.30pm arrival was a little militant, told to fill out a form handed an envelope of a welcome package that stated we MUST attend welcome meeting 10.30 next day ( they called us 8am next morning to reiterate this) then was shown to our road facing, above a generator, room.
Breakfast well I think it was breakfast as the tray of chips and onion rings lead me to think it was lunch.
The food in this hotel is definitely not 5 star and I'm no snob but I have frequented 5 star hotels and this one is nothing more than a 3 star with its lack of culinary imagination. The only way I can describe the food situation is its like doing a dinner at home when you are trying to empty your freezer! Nothing quite goes together but it will sustain you.
We were told they were winding down to close as they reached their end of season, I however was on my first holiday in a while and was expecting to be greeted with the same enthusiasm and offered the same services and food choices as someone at the start of the season! I'm paying for the same service surely it's a natural assumption.
Having read previous reviews I was looking forward to the Happy staff and enjoying my break with a few cocktails, instead the hotel staff seemed dominated by angry unsociable middle management men who looked at us if we were an inconvenience. I did at times feel if the hotel was a little anti British, a few other guests had this feeling too. You should not feel like this on holiday.
Our welcome meeting was just a trip selling appointment, they are overpriced! arrange your own for half the price.
This may be all inclusive but with the drinks I was quite often told what was available rather than what would I like. And I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking the alcohol had been watered down some days.
This hotel has no music in bar areas and lacks any atmosphere at all, at one point a guest started playing music from her phone and asked people for requests!
The room set up I liked, having toilet , shower and sink separate was brilliant for me but how thin are the walls??? I listened to every argument and 'making up' from our rather loud neighbours. Always around 2am!
On a positive, the beach is lovely and the younger staff are far more polite and helpful there. The food there is also better.
All in all I was very disappointed with this hotel and as it was my first time in Turkey was disappointed on a whole. I shall not return. I have paid same price for much better quality and service at other holiday destinations.

We stayed at Arnor in Mid-May as a Family of four. We had a night flight from the UK and arrived at the hotel at 7am. We did inform them of this and a room wasn't ready immediately but we had breakfast and were able to check-in after a couple of hours.
Rooms:
The rooms were clean and modern as expected with a new hotel. u had the expected amenities. One thing to note is the room has no Iron, so would suggest bringing a travel iron which we found helpful. The A/C is good but can be hit and miss sometimes. Rooms are cleaned regularly and towel/sheets replaced.
Food:
The overall quality of Food is good and the range quite vast. I would suggest the food in terms of dishes is catered more to the higher German residence in the hotel which is understandable. There are plenty of options and would recommend trying the Snack Bar for Lunch and also the Beach Lunch Menu for variety. The Beach menu especially was liked by our kids. The Pasta station for Dinner was good and if you do get bored of the food then there is a McDonalds and Burger King within walking distance.
Hotel:
The Hotel is really nice especially the Lobby, There are various places to relax. The Pool is a decent size and the kids also enjoyed the playground area. I visited the Gym regularly, it was basic but did the job.
Shop:
Special mention to Hassan who ran the shop in the hotel. We brought all our gifts from there was cheaper than Old Town. The Turkish Delight was of really high quality and he wasn’t pushy and very helpful. There are various items you can purchase such as Swim Accessories and Cosmetics. It’s a really useful shop and reasonable price wise.
Old town:
Would suggest going to the Old Town. You can walk along the Harbor from the Beach and it is quite vibrant in the evening. Everything is priced in Euro’s and we found that converting GBP into Lira or using your card was better for exchange rates.

The hotel overall is beautiful, luxurious & well maintained! However I would not say it’s a 5* currently, but could be with some improvements.
The check in process was shabby, although we were delayed taking off so it meant we got to the hotel around 3am, we was not informed of any times for food, such as when breakfast started etc, the staff weren’t not willing to help with wifi and taking luggage up to the rooms.. we was on the 5th floor.
There is only one pool area with limited sunbeds, which is a surprise considering the size of the hotel, they do have a private beach but as this isn’t in close proximity to the hotel and involves a shuttle, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. In the end you have to get up around 7:30/8am to get a sunbed. There is also music playing most of the day, which can be loud if you’re on the side of the pool which has the speakers, we preferred the music being on but can see why others don’t.
The food is where the improvement is highly recommended. It is overly repetitive & can be cold. They have a cooking station which does omelettes in the morning and pasta in the evening. This makes a nice change, but yet again is very repetitive. The snack bar food for lunch is better than in the restaurant, however very limited on choice of you don’t want grilled chicken, chips or burgers. The beach bar however was amazing food.
The room we had was spacious, you cannot fault it for being able to sleep and shower in it. However the walls are paper thin and we’ve had a few sleepless nights. The plus was the mini fridge is free of charge and restocked daily and the safe is also free.
The staff within the hotel could be much more friendly and accommodating, not many speak. However one waiter, Ozcan was amazing, always going out of his way to speak to us, clear our plates and cups quickly & having a laugh with us! However a few let the hotel down, such as ordering an ice coffee and being told they cannot do it although we had just ordered one fine about 30 minutes before.. it seems they make up the rules as they go.
The entertainment team are an asset to the hotel, ensuring there are things to do and games to be played if that’s what you like. They are super friendly, especially Ferhat & Alper, you two are a huge asset to the team, thank you for making our holiday a laugh!
Overall we wouldn’t return, but enjoyed our holiday, the lovely weather and entertainment team nevertheless!

As a family, we’ve been doing all inclusive holiday resorts for some time now, and we’ve visited Turkey around eight times. However, our experience at this hotel was so disappointing.
There is constant noise in the hotel, making it impossible to sleep at any hours. All of the family rooms are on the inner side of the hotel & they are placed directly opposite a shisha lounge and the entertainment area, therefore, we could hear loud music & people talking until 2/3am. The poolside also plays music on loudspeakers from around 9/10am so sleep was really difficult. Actually cried on the second night out of sheer frustration with the noise levels!
Furthermore, when we asked to change rooms, we were offered a much smaller room on the opposite side of the hotel, but there was still noise from the street & surrounding hotels (assuming that the glass doors are quite thin). They also have an indoor disco until 2am which is incredibly loud & bass blasts through the room.
It’s definitely not the type of hotel you want to go to if you value spa and relaxation. If you’re looking for partying and clubbing, then this is the hotel for you.
The staff were very lovely. They provided us a family room when we booked a normal room which was sweet. They also assisted us as much as they could but noise was out of their control. Ice cream was only available one hour a day and the same with the water slides. The food was also not hot, so used a microwave to warm it up.
I would recommend that people have a look at other resorts in Antalya as we have definitely been to much better resorts. Please also be conscious of the fact that the shower, toilet & sink are all separate. We had to leave the room when others were showering.
Other than that, the hotel is aesthetically pleasing. There was a blood stain on one of the sheets which stayed on for a few days, so I don’t think that the duvet sheets inside the wardrobes are changed between visits.

+1
Right this is going to be a very comprehensive review as frankly some of the low reviews are absolute tosh written by people who frankly shouldn’t travel!
This hotel is popular with Russian and German tourists, this is not an issue as they are people on holiday but it does mean the staff are a little better at those languages.
The hotel reception team are professional and courteous and helpful, lovely service. The support staff helping with bags and taxis were adorable super friendly and always with a massive smile.
The building itself is beautiful, very grand and reminded us of a cruise liner inside. It is in great condition and kept cleaner than clean literally not a spot anywhere.
The rooms are a good size we have a double bedded room and it was lovely with a balcony over the pool. The open bathroom style is a little weird but it works ok. The only down side to pool rooms is the evening entertainment is loud and starts at 9:30 but finishes before midnight.
Onto the food, you can eat all day somewhere and drinks are always available. The buffet in main dining is fantastic. Those moaning about choice clearly were looking for what they get at home, remember you are in holiday! They offer local food, always a selection of hot foods and chips and pasta are always on the buffet somewhere if that’s your bag. The salad and desert bars are so good and to be honest , I have not often seen bettered. The pastry chefs are talented. The watermelon is unbelievable. The Head chef is AMAZING he is so kind, happy and helpful. He sorted my daughters Allergy issues and made us confident she could eat safely which made our holiday. The waiting staff everywhere were friendly and helpful and very efficient.
The special dining was superb and well worth booking.
The bar staff were fab coping with continuous drink orders and the gorgeous lady who helped us in the top bar couldn’t have been better.
The pool is beautiful and was cool enough to be a break from the heat. There are activities but you are not nagged to join in unless you want to. We had no issues getting a sunbed.
It is a 15 min walk into old Side to see some of the most extensive Roman architecture I have seen outside of Greece/Italy and some brilliant shops. The weekly market is a 10 min walk and taxis are cheap (6-8€) to the town if you don’t want to walk. There are lots of trips we just went and sorted them ourselves. The boats at the port offer lots of great trips and the waterfall is worth an outing
The spa is luxurious. A massive shout out to the adorable and talented massage staff including Hugy ( probably wrong) but she is magic and so very very kind, she really fixed my back you won’t find better than this very experienced lady. Have a Turkish bath it’s an authentic experience and the gorgeous female manager is so very helpful.
Thank you to everyone at the hotel keep up the great work
