Hotel's Favourite
Me and my partner stayed here for 10 nights from the 17th November and we had a wonderful stay! The weather was on our side, it was forecast rain the whole ten days however it changed and we only had one bad rainy day., which we spent in our room having a lazy day. The hotel itself was spotless! The rooms were super clean, towels changed every day, mini bar replenished every day. All staff were very friendly part from one guy in wasabi restaurant but that problem was resolved by guest relations.
In the main restaurant we had loads of choices of food, slightly differing each evening, the pudding section was great! Want to give a big thank you to Hasan, who waited on us and made us feel special, such a lovely chap! Would defiantly come back in the high season to see what it’s like in its busy periods! Thank you everyone :)

We have recently returned from the Paloma Perissia, and have to say we had the most fabulous time.
Having stayed here 6 years ago we were interested to see what changes had been made, and what an improvement.
We had requested a high floor and were situated on the 6th floor, the rooms are a great size, the bed was at least 7ft wide, there is also a fridge, containing beer, water and a variety of fizzy drinks, this is free and refilled daily.
Our house keeper Scmerua was lovely with towel art and her attention to detail, she was an absolute pleasure. The hotel is kept so clean, from the dining rooms to the toilets. They work tirelessly to make sure everywhere is of a high standard of cleanliness.
We mainly ate in the Main Restaurant; there was such a vast selection of food even for someone as fussy as me. Definitely won’t go hungry. A big thank you to Kivanc our restaurant waited he was very attentive and always with a smile.
I have read that you have to get up early to get a sun bed, but we didn’t find this to be the case. We always managed to get 4 beds, admittedly if you wanted to be around the pool edge, these were sometimes busy. Our waiter around the pool was Cian& Efe were very attentive and chatty.
The beach was lovely and relaxing. Bring water shoes as it is a little rocky when entering the water.
The Entertainment was excellent, all acts are from outside sources, unlike 6 yrs ago when the animation Team put on some amazing shows, and there is no longer a beach party. The new stage area is in a much better location, (where the tennis courts used to be)
In the bars we were looked after by Kubra, she always had our drinks ready and was a real sweet girl. Mehmet he was very funny we always laughed even if we didn’t know what at.
In the afternoons about 3 pm, the staff came round with Ice creams and fruit this also included the beach area.
There are a lot of different levels to this hotel, but once you’ve mastered the lifts you can avoid most of the stairs. I can’t think of a negative thing to say.
We were away when the Queen sadly passed away, the Hotel management left a condolence leaflet with a picture of the queen in our rooms, what a lovely gesture.
We had a fab time and want to thank everyone for making it so.
Keep up the good work. x

My girlfriend and I stayed at the beginning of May 22 and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotel.
The staff are so friendly, they take the time to chat to you and they will go out of their way to make your stay special. Shout out to Gani, Tayfur, Taskin and Chian!
The food was another level for an all inclusive, choice of 3 Alacarte restaurants or the buffet in the main restaurant. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are amazing at the buffet and we could’ve eaten every night there no problem. We chose to use all 3 alacarte restaurants and each had its own twist, our favourite was the Quentine with it’s Mediterranean menu (which is also available for lunch free of charge if you want a change from the lunch buffet). Never experienced all inclusive food as good as this place and they even have herb gardens dotted around to pick their fresh mint or rosemary.
The location was perfect, a 3km walk into Side which took around 45mins at a leisurely pace along a promenade that runs next to the beach. Side is beautiful with its ancient architecture and quaint shopping high street.
You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to tours to book. Best advice is to not go cheap, do something worthwhile and get some prices from a few people before committing.
If you choose to stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Let’s start off with the positives, we can’t thank Mario and the animation team enough for making us feel so welcome and getting us to join in with the activities. We also can’t thank Chian enough for the pool side service, he was always there at the drop of a hat to get you any drinks!
We came to this hotel in September 2018 when it was called Sentido Perissia and was under Thomas cook. Now that Thomas cook are no more and TUI have the monopoly they simply don’t care as there is no competition.
We fell in love with this hotel in 2018, there mere multiple restaurants to choose from such as Turkish, Italian, Steak house, Fish, Chinese and the buffet. However since the “refurb” they closed down the Turkish and Italian. Leaving you now with Curio (steak) which you now have to pay for and it’s not a set price. Wabi Sabi which is the Chinese which isn’t brilliant (and the plates weren’t the cleanest). Mediterranean restaurant which is okay but not brilliant, and the buffet.
Cleanliness isn’t a big problem but we did notice on occasion glasses were not cleaned properly. In the buffet and a la carté restaurants the occasional plate was dirty too.
We travelled in a group of 6, on one day we thought we would treat ourselves and book a cabana on the beach. Upon booking we checked with guest relations that it would be okay for 6 of us to use it and they said it would be fine no problem. We go to the cabana on the Saturday, go our selves comfortable and then we’re told that we all couldn’t be in here and if we wanted the 6 of us to have the cabana we would have to pay for an additional 2 more. From this point it was clear it was about one thing only and that was money at they are €70 each (and to be honest they are not worth the money).
The evening entertainment previously was on a 2 week rotation and now it’s on a 7 day rotation so if your here for over a week then it’s unfortunate to have to watch some of the shows twice.
Ultimately I’m very disappointed in the hotel and what TUI have done to it as they have cut back so much knowing there is no competition, the hotel used to be 5 stars now it’s a maximum 4 stars as it really isn’t what it was.
I’m sure if you’re travelling here for the first time you’ll find it brilliant but when you know what it used to be and what it is now, it’s truly disappointing.
Unfortunately this may be our last time visiting Paloma Perissia.

We spent a very pleasant two weeks in this hotel. As mentioned frequently, the staff are the best aspect of the hotel. They remained friendly and helpful even with the rudest guests - of which there were several. Remember to tip them, they deserve it. The room was ok but the ‘refurbishment’ in the part we stayed in was mainly repainting the rooms and adding new furniture. The bathroom was looking old though it did have a new hair dryer installed in the old fixing. The drains gurgled frequently and the loo leaked. We called reception about this and the air con not working and maintenance were there within minutes to fix the air con, which once working was the quietest we have ever had in any hotel. The bed was lovely and comfy but we like a really firm bed so may not suit everyone. The pillows, however, were disgusting. Felt like bits of foam squashed into a cover.
The food was generally good though some things like the ‘British baked beans’ were just awful. If you don’t like a cafeteria vibe of noise and people rushing about trying to grab everything like lockdown was coming, then we would advise avoiding the main restaurant until 8.15pm at the earliest when it starts to get a bit more relaxed.
We tried the Quentine a la carte but they didn’t have a vegetarian option so I ended up with some mediterranean veg floating in a dish of oil with no sides at all - their decision not mine. After that we didn’t bother with the other a la carte restaurants. Quentines is much better at lunch.
We prefer the cooler temps of the beach where the beds are well spaced out and plentiful all day though it means you do not get the waiter service that people around the pools get. The beach bar is right next to the beach though so not a real hardship. They do have a waiter bring a box of ice creams (Cornetto, Oreo bars etc) at around 3pm. There is a brilliant man who rushes to brush off the beds and put up parasols as soon as you arrive.
It is really dark around the hotel grounds at night with lighting being quite low key. This meant that around the bar areas was bright but seating and walkways were very gloomy. The hotel app is brilliant for all the information about the hotel like bars, restaurants and activities. You can book the a la carte restaurants on it which saves a walk to guest relations.
It was nice to see the hotel manager was frequently a visible presence about the hotel, keeping an eye on things.

Dear Gary-Lesley, Thank you for your extensive review and comments about your stay at Paloma Perissia. We would like to bring to your attention that there is a pillow menu available in our hotel, where you can choose the pillow that is suitable. In the main restaurant, our service staff is also happy to put together the desired salad in consultation with you. If we can welcome you again next time, we would like to invite you to stop by at the guest relations to help you further for those points that you experienced as less. We are happy to serve you. We hope to welcome you again for another relaxing holiday. Sincerely, Paloma Perissia Management Team

Just returning from a last minute get away. We’ve been to Antalya all inclusive 5* hotels for many years & found Paloma Perissia to be very clean, very chilled & welcoming. The room (we stayed in standard extra large which had a double and a single bed plus a sofa bed) was lovely and airy. The air con could have been cooler for my liking but kept the room from overheating nevertheless. The main buffet food was not the best we’ve had, but still okay.
The wabi sabi restaurant was one of the best restaurants we’ve been to in a resort, the staff and their organisation was amazing and the food was excellent!! The location of the hotel is a little out of the way of side centre itself (40 mins walk down the promenade, or 15 mins in a taxi - taxi’s a little pricey but only €10 ish and well worth the visit. Fabulous indoor club facilities for children under 10 during the day. Pool room was a little lacking as only two tables for the whole hotel. Kids club space, staffed and with ps5’s and pc’s for a little rest bite from the heat a really good option. A shame it was only open for a couple of hours each day. I think parents would have loved more games and engagement options of an evening. Games room / bowling etc.
The one area of improvement I would feedback is the staff numbers. There are just not enough staff at the bar and in the restaurants so it’s always a long wait for drinks and food orders at the table which can be frustrating! Drinks and cocktails
plentiful with lots of brand options for spirits etc
Over all we enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to revisit in the future.
Special mention to Hannan who was always on hand to ensure we have everything we needed each evening. Jayden says “Hi” !
Thankyou for a lovely break Paloma Parissoa x

We have recently returned from a week in this hotel with our 9 year old daughter.
We stayed in 6th floor and whilst I didn’t feel the room was worthy of the star rating we didn’t let this spoil our week as they were minor things (air con not as good as it could have been. Paid for a sea view but part of the hotel was in front of us so sort of spoilt our view. No balcony to sit on. Uncomfortable mattress and leaky shower etc). We have stayed in Turkey several times before and one of them was in Side at Sunwing. We have also stayed at Paloma Pasha in Turkey when it was first built and these were both nicer rooms.
Everything else was great. The staff are very helpful and work so hard to make sure you have a lovely holiday. The housekeeping was very good in the rooms and the lady that did the ice creams at night making faces really put a smile on our girls face (waving at her if she saw us). Little things like bringing the branded ice creams and lollies around the pool area was a very nice touch.
Really enjoyed the food, lovely grilled meats and the rice is perfectly cooked every meal time! Salads were lovely and fresh.
Only able to book one ala carte per week which is a bit of a shame as you miss out on the others.
Use the app as it’s great to find out what’s going off and when things are open.
The food was great and the all inclusive drinks were of good choice including the cocktails which usually I give a miss because they are terrible!
The pools are big and great!
My daughter used the kids club a few times and the staff were lovely and make such an effort to make sure the kids have fun and are very caring. The club is great because they can just nip in and out of sessions they want to join in on.
The evening entertainment was very good and again we don’t usually bother watching it but the circus show, mystery show and the ladies singing were fantastic.
A lovely holiday and great staff.

We have just returned from our stay and absolutely loved every minute.
The hotel is kept immaculate by all the hard working staff, they truly are a credit to the hotel. They all work so hard everyday to make sure you are satisfied with everything from the cleaniness of your room to the service at meal times.
The major star has to be Cihan the pool waiter. He works so hard and never forgets you and always makes sure you are ok.
Given all the hours everyday spent by the pool his service is singled out for this reason. But the overall service from all staff is amazing. Each day staff go around the pool offering fresh fruits, iced coffee or fresh fruit juice and ice creams/lollies.
Towels provided and can be changed daily.
Beautiful private beach with sunloungers included and Queintine bar and restaurant where we mainly went for lunch.
Bistro has a lovely cocktail bar and serves very nice snacks and patisserie.
If you like shopping for a bargain Kunkoy is a must you won't be disappointed it cost about 500tl. There are also a lot of good shops if you turn right on the promenade coming from hotel, then up left by childrens park. Not too far maybe 15 minutes with plenty of seats to rest if need be.
We went on the speed boat for an hour provided by Banana Joe (lovely man) who comes round pool offering all water sports etc. It was well worth it and we really enjoyed seeing the temples, sight seeing, having a swim in the sea and watching the turtles was a lovely ending.
Entertainment team arrange the pool games, beach volley, darts etc during the day and always so friendly. We watched a couple of shows during our stay which were very professional.
We didn't have children so cannot really comment on facilities but the main pool was shallow and always plenty of kiddies splashing around having a great time. Life guards were patrolling at all times.
Overall our holiday was made special by every single staff member where nothing is too much, it is no problem!
Thank you to each and everyone of you we will return.

Me and my daughter stayed for a week it was our first all inclusive the hotel was immaculate it was peak summer season and yet it never felt overcrowded there was always a member of staff at hand to offer drink replenishments and they couldn't do enough to make are stay exceptional. The pool area was beautiful and the beach was a stone throw with drinks being served on the beach. The food however was very disappointing and the al a carte restaurants where fully booked, the main restaurant feels like a giant school canteen with some nice lighting, dining was not an enjoyable experience it felt like the cattle were being fed. Due to poor dining experiences and poor quality food i would rate this a 4star hotel, all other aspects were most certainly 5 star.

+1
Hotel was excellent in general but I will highlight positives & negatives.
Rooms:
Keep the keycard in and the balcony door closed to keep the AC on when your out as the room does get warm if you don’t. We had a large double room with balcony and sea view and the couch bed mattress was very thin and you could feel the springs through it. That is the only negative in terms of the room itself. Housekeeping was very good.
Food/Restaurants:
The snack restaurants were very nice and the main buffet style restaurant had an excellent variety of dishes/food at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The a la carte restaurants (Curio, Quentin & Wabi Sabi) were all very nice although it was hard to hook them more than once during our 10 night stay. I would recommend booking asap to ensure you get to visit them. Curio in particular was much to my liking with a lovely T-Bone steak and peppercorn sauce. The waitress we had Sahra was incredible at her job, not once did she let a glass run empty and she accommodated all dietary requirements easily. My wife has managed large events in the hospitality industry and Also had nothing but praise for Sahra’s professionalism.
Poolside:
Very good pools with games & music throughout the course of the day. On the days we spent by the pool we got our towels down around 6am to ensure we got a decent spot as they went pretty quickly if you didn’t!. Another important person to note here was a waiter called Cihan. Cihan went out of his way everyday to look after our family of 4 and literally does not stop for breath all day. Tremendous work ethic and kept us hydrated all day.
Night Events:
The variety of the shows was good with musical acts, dance acts, acrobatic acts etc. the kids disco seemed very repetitive. Again the highlight here was the service of a guy called Ata. Ata like Cihan kept our drinks flowing and looked after us.
Trips & Excursion
We visited both Land of Legends (booked through TUI) & the Palomaqua water parks during our stay. We had to wait 6/7 days to go to the Palomaqua park as they said at guest relations that it was fully booked. On the day of our trip we got on the coach to be told there was no more seats so we should get off and wait for the next one 10 mins later. At no point did anyone ask for room numbers, names etc so I believe someone had simply took the seats we booked 6/7 days earlier. Guest relations tried to play this down but 64 people tried to get onto a 60 seater so they either overbooked people or let 4 people who hadn’t booked take our seats. Not good enough in my opinion and the lack of checking reservations was very poor practice.
