Hotel's Favourite
We have returned from a 10 night stay as a family of 5. We read the reviews beforehand and started to panic slightly but all was good. This is the most pristine place we have visited and we have been to Turkey many times. Yes it is predominantly German but all nationalities are here and all are catered for well. One of the staff told us 95% of guests are German so that is their first language for shows and asking for drinks but they Love the Brits to come so they can practice and wish more would do so as they can't get enough!
The day time entertainment was basic but enough variation - and evening entertainment always something different and alternated between being hosted at the beach bar or in the large amphitheatre. For smaller children a disco was on early each night and they also included some daytime pool activities for youngsters too.
It is a large hotel but comfortably so, nothing too big.
Food was always available and good, the buffet restaurant was busy to begin with and opened early at 6.30 so those with young ones could eat and get to disco, we found if we went at half 7 we could comfortably get a table, and had to wait only twice as one was cleaned and reset. Plenty of choice and availability and waiters always attentive and happy.
We were able to take advantage of the alacarte restaurants- Italian, Mexican and Asian and were more than impressed with the service and food- also lovely wine served in them. No bother to book the day before, no hassle and well worth it.
Beach has beds aplenty regardless of what time you get there and the sea is amazing- clean, warm and safe, lifeguards on duty and able to go out for a good way with feet touching floor. Wide range of beach activities available from beach stall but at extra cost.
We found staff happy and polite and the animation team always said " good morning England " when they passed which was a nice touch and evening shows and daily updates always spoken in a multitude of languages for all nationalities to understand.
We even ventured into Side old town with some of the animation team on an evening as they offer a trip to the local nightclubs for 15€ - two short bus trips there and back and had a brilliant night, well worth it, esp with teenagers in tow.
We were very impressed with all staff and aspect of the holiday- we didn't have a sea or pool view but it was too hot to sit on balacony that it didn't matter anyway. I would recommend and advise to relax and join in and you will thoroughly enjoy.

We were so looking forward to leaving COVID and working for the NHS behind and enjoying a 5 star vacation. We were not disappointed by the Kings Palace and spa. We arrived at night and the night manager was a pleasure to deal with, very efficient and helpful. He sprayed and cleaned the outside of our bags and took our temperatures. Our family room was perfect. 2 beds with bathroom and balcony. The room was clean spacious and great for our family of four. The room has a fridge, which is restocked daily, wifi, and free toiletries.
We were in inclusive so ate at the hotel for two weeks. The breakfast was buffet with plenty of choices. The same for lunch and dinner. The lunch and dinner service was great the waiters and servers were polite and helpful. The tables were cleaned before each setting and new table cloths put down, all the staff wore face coverings.
The food was hot or cold with plenty of choice.
We occasionally ate lunch either at the pool or beach. Both were great with fewer choices but nice food.
The pools were warm, clean and well maintained, as were the gardens surrounding the hotel. The pool bar provided drinks and snacks if required.
The staff continually tided up and took your rubbish away they could not be faulted with their energy and good work.
There’s a collection of slides which were open a couple of times a day and always had a life guard.
The beach was clean with lovely sand and loads of free sun beds. The sea was warm but a little sandy.
There is a harbour nearby and you can take a walk along the harbour wall.
We took a boat trip to the river, market with lunch included, the trip was very expensive and not worth it. The river trip took us to the ocean and stopped for people to jump in. They provided lunch( chicken and salad) then took us to Manavgat market which was all the usual copies of designer goods, some fruit and veg and souvenirs. The time allocated was 3 hours which was two hours too long !!
All in all the holiday at the kings palace was amazing and I would recommend a stay there.
They are set up for COVID and take safety seriously don’t be worried !

This hotel made us feel almost like in the StRegis on Mauritius. Except the lack of control of mask usage by guests (my impression was that everybody except the Russian guests wore one. The problem was that more than 70% were Russians), Corona rules were strict. You were not allowed to use the buffets, silverware was brought in sealed envelopes, napkins were brought at demand, etc. Food is spectacular, both in the a la carte restaurants and at the buffet restaurant. Rooms and common areas are exrremely clean. The hotel offers COVID-19 tests at 30 euro with results within 1 day. A special thank you goes to Gökhan!

Beautiful and elegant hotel, spacious room and the staff friendly and professional ! Great and generous UAI concept.
The room was cleaned every day and the minibar refilled daily with water, also a can of beer, one of Fanta , one of Sprite and one of Coke.
The hotel is on the beach with blue flag only 2 minutes away across the beautiful garden. The beach is so nice with clean sand , no stones, no shells and plenty of sunbeds. The towels for the sunbeds are provided by the hotel, free of charge !
The sea is shallow , not deep at all , very safe for small children and adults.
There are three beautiful large pools, including one for babies , only 35 cm deep ! The sunbeds are ocuppied from early morning so you have to be quick to save one. Unfortunately lots of tourists occupy the sunbeds around the pool with towel and then they go away.
The restaurant is one of the best ever, I dare to say perfect ! The dishes and the food are just exquisite and delicious ! All the dishes are so well cooked and the cakes.....oh my God what a delight !
There are lots , lots of dishes, lots of choices , quality products and quality beverages . Congratulations to all the cooks, chefs and service ladies and gentlemen in the restaurant, they are doing a great job ! I hope the management appreciate their work truly !
The bar by the pool serves drinks , food , sweets also the bar on the beach is always busy and the drinks and the food are perfection !
There are a few small nice shops inside the hotel ! They are so cool ! Also you find a hairdresser, a gym, an indoor pool, a bowling alley, mini club for children by the pool !
Also very close to the hotel there are dozen of souvenir shops also big turkish bazaars and restaurants !
Thank you all for your hospitality ! We already miss you !

We have just returned from a 10 night stay in this hotel.
The amenities were top notch, the cleanliness of the hotel, top to bottom, was unbelievable. Everywhere on the grounds was spotless, there were constantly staff cleaning in all areas and our room was cleaned daily
The selection of food was massive and regularly available, meaning we never went hungry, even with "picky" children eating.
All the pools, the beach area, the poolside bars, restaurants and spa were really nice in appearance and functionality.
The location itself is not too far from local shops / bars, though we didn't venture out for food because we had an infant that was tired by evening time.
Coming from the UK, we found that we were massively outnumbered by German guests, which in itself was not an issue, but as a result, all of the activities, documentation and communication with staff was in German language.
Very few staff had a basic grasp of English, which made ordering bespoke food or drinks quite difficult at times.
The hotel itself was fantastic for the price, but I would be concerned about returning if I wanted a social holiday, with lots of poolside interaction and activity - because you can feel isolated with the language barrier.

I'm not the type to go on vacation to relax but I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, the staffs friendliness and care. Some staff go above and beyond to get to know you, they are always ready to serve you.
We stayed for 10 days, we had 4 kids amongst us, they loved the pool, and kids disco, the food was great but not a lot of variety in the kids menu however they are able to eat from the adults as it is not too spicy and the food was delicious. They had a special dinner for Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean and Turkish food.
The staff cleaned the sheets everyday which was great especially when we came back from beach the room was always with sands but they always cleaned everything.
Although I wish they had replenished their shampoos and soaps and cottons. When I asked at the reception they gave us plenty which was good.
Cocktails were really amazing, the entertainment every night was very entertaining. We had lots of fun and made beautiful memories ❤️
Thank you to all at Aydinbey

My daughter and I spent a week at this amazing hotel; we booked on the basis of the amazing reviews on trip advisor so I'm adding to it. The hotel was clean and modern and a huge shout out to the amazing staff at the resort. Yunus was my special favourite with great english and a total professional - he kept us all safe around the pool and on the water slides. Mehmet the manager of the pool bar and Mehmet the lovely gentleman who cleaned around the pool area in the morning so friendly and kind. In the pool bar area, Seyhmus went over and beyond looking after me always also shout out to Ali in the Terrace bar and Recep in the pool bar too. The reception staff were all friendly and efficient and thanks Ahmet for checking us out on the last day. The food the in main dining area was always fresh and delicious and can also recommend the Turkish tent where we had lunch one day. The weather throughout our stay was just sunny and hot and we had the best time ever - we shall be ditching Ibiza holidays for Turkey from now on. Thanks everyone for giving us such an amazing holiday! Cindy Peyroux and Serena Barwick.

if you are booking for 2 adults and 2 children in one room, beware that some of the rooms advertised are not suitable for 4 people. booked through expedia for 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival, we got a room with a double bed and a single bed. Apparently that's OK for 4 people... and they said you are getting what was advertised. expedia have said it is the hotel who manage this. I asked for an additional bed. I got a flimsy rollaway bed and a paper thin mattress... with different heights. they said they would sort it in the morning. in the morning they simply said they are fully booked and the room you booked is what you paid for with no answer as to how it was suitable for 4 people for 9 nights. they provided an additional paper thin uncomfortable mattress to at least make the beds the same height.
There was no response to messages sent prior to arrival.
Food- The Head chef was fantastic. If you are vegetarian, be prepared to expect to tell some staff what that means- not all staff understand it means no chicken or fish. Also limited options at the beach bar for vegetarians and service varied depending on which waiter you got on the day. On the first day, accomodating- easy to say chips and salad, no chicken to be able to have a chip butty salad sandwich. Asked for additional vegetables on pizza (grrn peppers and mushrooms on top of the margherita pizza on menu). on the second day they said this was not an option, could only order straight off the menu with no changes. On the 5th day asked for chip butty. was told no. anhour later table next to us asked for the same and got it (they happened to be friends of ours).
Service at the main bar, spa was consistently great.

Dear Mr Nirig ; First of all, thank you for choosing us and taking the time to write this important feedback. We have examined your reservation and determined that the room type you have made is a standard room, as stated on our website, our standard rooms also have 2 + 1 beds. As you have shared, additional bed service is offered to our 2+2 guests. However, we would like to state again that the additional bed service is an additional service, the standard bedded room type, which can accommodate up to 5 people, is also available in our family rooms, we have taken your suggestions about the quality of the bed and the training of the staff into consideration, we will endeavour to make it better in the longest time. We wish you all the best, Aydinbey Kings Palace & Spa Team

We spent a week at the Aydinbey hotel. It’s a very nice hotel, very clean and the staff we all found to be friendly. The rooms are decent, albeit the sea view rooms are just about a ‘sea view’ most of them are located on the sides of the hotel and you can just catch a glimpse of the pool/beach, it’s not a full on sea view. Also for families of 4 you do get a camp bed.
As others have said the hotel is geared towards the English contingent, especially the evening entertainment. The evening entertainment was a bit mixed, some of it was good (Cuban dancing) but others were a bit ropey (the seashells hotel next door always seemed to have some really lively entertainment going on each night.
The beach is great, and you get to use the hotels sun loungers which are included and on all inclusive you get food at the beach bar. The food was generally very good indeed, and we sampled the Italian, Ottoman and BBQ restaurants - the latter two being excellent.
The staff all spoke enough English so that it wasn’t a big problem ordering stuff etc, and special shout-out to the guy in the hotel shop who was always very helpful and polite.
The gym in the hotel is pretty basic for those wanting to do fitness whilst away, but it was always quiet.
The swimming pools were great, although on 3 occasions during our stay the main pool had to be cleared due to a toddler doing its business in there, not the hotels fault but at the same time not great for the vibe.
We did a couple of excursions - the green canyon and the pirate ship, both of which with two young kids we enjoyed. The kids especially enjoyed the pirate ship, the main pirate who runs it is very enthusiastic although be warned any drinks/ice creams taken on the boat are charged extra (although in the grand scheme of things it wasn’t too bad compared to London prices, 8 drinks and an ice cream cost around £25). The excursions themselves were charged at £35 per person (including kids) for both trips, arranged through the On the beach rep.
There’s a guy who goes round the pools selling the massage services for the hotel spa, we were quoted €140 for two adults and two kids. In the end we didn’t go through with it, the rep offers a much cheaper hamam/massage trip outside of the hotel, which a German couple we bumped into said was very good.
For people coming from the UK like us I think if you’re relaxed with being in a hotel which doesn’t specifically cater for brits you’ll be fine.

First of all, I want to thank Aydinbey kings hotels team for the wonderful holiday I had. Everything was wonderful. Very clean hotel, quite large beach with fine sand even on the bottom of the sea. Entry into the sea very smooth, safe for small children. Free sunbeds on the beach anytime. Cleanliness everywhere and the staff puts in a lot of work to keep everything perfect. I didn't stay at the pool, so I don't know what it's like, but I'm sure everyone was happy. True, the hotel staff speaks Turkish and German, but you always find someone who can handle English to bring you what you want. I honestly had no problem even though I don't know German. At the reception staff speak english, as well in the main restaurant or on the beach bar. You can always find a waiter who speak english . The staff
are polite and work so hard to keep
guests satisfied . Very good and varied food, you can always find the table even if it is crowded. You may need to wait a bit if there are several people in the group.
There are many shops outside the hotel within a few minutes' walk so keep room in your luggage for shopping. The internet worked fine, the air conditioning worked well. The spa staff are very good , I did 3 sessions of massage and one hammam and was wonderful. I stayed 10 days but honestly I wish I had stayed a few more.
For those who are used to the 5 star hotels on Lara Beach, I can say that it's not as impressive in size or swimming pools. This hotel is not so big like these from Lara Beach But the professionalism and devotion of those who work in this hotel make your holiday a wonderful and pleasant experience! I highly recommend this hotel.
Regarding the lack of English at the hotel staff, please do not worry. With a good attitude, a smile and an explanation from your hands you will be able to get along with any waiter or cleaning lady. Plus there is Menu on any table in English
As one of the animation team would say: Sensationel sensationel !! Those who have been here this summer know what I am talking about .
So enjoy your holiday at this hotel and give a nice tip for those who work very hard in 40-45 Celsius .

They had basic things like chips and some version/shape of chicken nuggets every day when we went in April and a massive salad bar. But there are so many main choices you won’t struggle to feed them. Food was really good and make use of the bbq area right outside the restaurant and also the restaurant on the beach that has pizza and chips as well.
All the drinks (Coke, Sprite, Tonic, Fanta) are flat as your hat
