Food was a bit hit and miss I particularly enjoyed the prawns on fish night . Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare queueing for tea and coffee as there was always a long queue . The soups were amazing probably the best we’ve had in hotels and the outdoor food bar was always good loved their pastas and burgers .
Most of the staff were fab all polite and very friendly . I found the reception staff so helpful regarding late check out Thankyou to guluzar and baris for your help .
The ala carte Turkish restaurant was fantastic really top class food and service.
The beach was lovely . Found so many nice little touches with this hotel like cats corners where they put food out for local cats I loved this and love the fact that the Turkish people are animal lovers and the eco garden things I’ve never seen before in other hotels and the ice cream cabin which is on the beach path and FREE !! The water park was good but they have weight restrictions so I couldn’t do a certain flume ride because our combined weight exceeded the limit ( not that I’m fat ) 😂
All in all it was a fantastic break just what we needed . My only gripes were the wasps there was loads and they were stinging anyone and everyone and the lack of good parenting skills by a few of the other guests ( not the hotels fault though ) I would also say donot leave your left over toiletries in the swap box in the luggage room as I did . I went back in to check on my case and found people flying home taking what I’d left putting it in their cases . Leave it for the cleaners I’m sure they would be far more appreciative of it.
This hotel exceeds all expectations and I highly recommend it. My husband I and our 14 year old daughter booked this hotel for 17-24th August after TUI cancelled our holiday to Lanzarote. We were quite upset not to be going to the Canaries but THANK GOD we changed to this holiday. It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The hotel is beautiful & immaculately cleaned, the grounds amazing and the pool enormous. We never struggled for a Sunbed by the pool or on the private beach. The water park was fantastic and we never had to queue very long for any of the 13 white-knuckle slides!!! If we had to queue at the bar or in the dining room it was for only a minute or two. The food was delicious and something to suit every taste. The all-inclusive drinks were great ranging from a simple beer or spirit to exotic cocktails and alcoholic slushes. Every member of staff was polite and always ready to please from the maids, the lifeguards, the waiters all the way up to the management. Our room (3118) was cleaned immaculately every day with the maid leaving pretty sculptures on the bed each day using the towels. The a la carte Turkish restaurant served up the most delicious food. We bought quite a few things from the hotel shop, the prices were a little high to start off but with a little haggling we got some good bargains.
I honestly can’t find a single fault with this holiday & we’re already looking into returning next year with our extended family (all 15 of us). The only slight downside was the fact that my daughter left an outfit in the room when we left and although I have emailed the hotel several times regarding this, I have had no reply. She definitely left it & knows where. I’m just hoping they haven’t got back to us yet as they’re busy. Aside from that I would recommend this hotel to any one, whatever age. It’s fantastic. Thank you Pegasus world for the best holiday we’ve ever had!!!!
The pool if fairly clean
The grounds are well locked after
Negatives
Drinks included in all inclusive have a very bad taste , if you’re asking for premium drinks is € 6 a shot of whiskey only one bar open by the pool , could be a long walk depending we’re you sitting .
Entertainment is none existing , specially in the evening they play jazz music from 1930 -1940 all evenings .
Food is average and repetitive in main restaurant is very busy .
Rooms are dated and can hear people next door talking or having a shower
Dinner time usually waiters serve drinks to table , but if you don’t give tips they become very ignorant and pretend like your not there , happed to me .
Ice cream kiosk is near the beach long walk from the pools , but the one Premium €€ is right by the pool . The shops inside the hotel are ridiculously overpriced
From my experience I don’t think this hotel value customers
3 *** All day long
Some lucky people who clearly tip high seem to get a waiter service both in restaurant and bars so for the majority of us you can spent 15 mins at the bar waiting for the waiters to keep pushing infront and getting served first whilst your food goes cold.
The shops and services are a joke, there is no prices on anything then when u ask you get quoted in euro, if i was going to europe maybe id take euros but in turkey the tui lady advised to take lira. I wont comment on my opinion of them now.
I got quoted nearly a fiver for pringles which is disappointing because your generally starving from crap meals that are more of a drama than relaxing.
I went to the spa to get a steam room and sauna, no water in the sauna so it was freezing, kind of defeits the point, daren't ask anyone for help as when i walked in guys tried selling me a turkish bath, bare in mind tui advertise these starting at £20 i thought €90 each for cheapest package is a bit of a joke. Said id pay £50 quid but got told the staff have to make commission and pay bills etc wish i earned that because i wouldnt be here if i did.
We went for a walk last night after our crap evening meal and got offered hair cuts, tattoo, photos, spa treatments. It all just feels like you cant relax and enjoy your holiday because they want more out of you and if your not paying more they do not want to know.
Our family suite with a balcony is nothing special, we paid extra for balcony but others say they go these free, theres lose metal balcony guards laying on roof next to our balcony on top floor, we have photod these to show tui as this is just a 2 fingers up to customers on lower levels and a blatent disregard for health and safety.
My partner is currently sat bored as no drinks in room bar bottles of water if your lucky and unfortunately we only seem to get one phone on wifi at once and this review is taking a while.
In my mind tui have a lot to answer for, 3rd tui holiday in last 13 months and had a poor experience each time and they think this is acceptable.
arghhhh rant over
The Hotel was excellent and from the very start, we were made to feel very at home and very welcome, there are plenty of sanitising stations all around the hotel, so you can clean your hands at every opportunity, face masks are available if you don't have your own, so no need to worry there. The cleaning staff are constantly on the go, to make sure everything is as clean as possible. Not at any stage did we feel unsafe regarding Covid-19, in fact it was quite the opposite.
The staff were all amazing, they made us feel at home and were always full of smiles, nothing was to much trouble, there main goal was to ensure we had great holiday.
The food was excellent and loads to choose from, so none of us went hungry, it was quite the opposite, we ate plenty. Special thanks must go to Ali and Orhan, who made sure we had everything we needed, they took care of myself and family very well, we tried to learn a little Turkish from them, Orhan is fluent in 'only fools and horses' so many a laugh was had with that.
The pool was massive and had plenty of room, so social distancing in the water was not a problem, the water was lovely and warm and very refreshing, when the sun bathing got a little warm. The water slides are great fun and a couple of them certainly get your heart pumping, however it just makes you want to go on them all again.
The beach was clean and tidy and very well kept, the water was so very warm, no tip toeing to get in, its straight in and swim. There are plenty of life guards on station, not only at the pool but the beach also, so you know that you are being looked after there to.
There are a few bars to choose from all are well staffed and it doesn't take long get your much needed drink, especially if you have teenagers.
The room we had was in block 3, it was a little tired but more than adequate, it was clean and tidy, and the view of the Sea and pool we had from our balcony, more than made up for that.
I would like to say a special thank you to Abbus in the Silver shop, who made sure we got a cracking deal on the silver we bought and pulled out all the stops to make sure we got what we asked for and excellent service.
Haran in the gift shop was the best, he bent over backwards to help us, we spent a great deal of time in his shop and spent most of that laughing, he totally went out of his way to get a couple of bits we asked for, nothing was to much trouble and his service was second to none. His uncles Boutique was also stocked well and we came out with some new sports tops, again and with an excellent deal and many laughs to go with it.
All in all with the difficult times we are in at the moment, this holiday really made us forget about that and truly we were able to relax.
Turkey is an amazing place and Pegaso World is a credit to that. The people make the holiday, the staff and hotel gave us everything we needed and a holiday we so badly wanted.
So once again Special thanks to,Haran, Ali, Abbus, Orhan and everyone at Pegasos World...We will be back.
Take care and stay safe.
Bar staff at the pool bar are very fast, couldn’t fault them.
Regards kids entertainment, if you have younger children (6 and under) the kids disco is a must. Keeps them very happy for an hour and tires them out (bonus). The kids club is very good, my partners niece loved it and couldn’t wait to go again.
Location is great, straight on to the beach (be warned the sand is very hot in the sun and you need flip flops or swim shoes). There is a beach bar which was never busy when we were there, nice to sit at when the kids were playing in the sea.
There are pools and slides for everyone i.e baby/adult/splash pad. There are at least two lifeguards per pool so you don’t have to worry too much if your child goes out of sight for a moment. You can hear lifeguards blowing their whistles at people most of the day so they are definitely on the ball.
Sunbeds, there are hundreds but they go fast. Be sure to get up early to reserve.
The room was nice although the bathroom was ever so slightly dated. However, the room and bathroom were cleaned everyday which is all that mattered to us. But then again, we are of the philosophy that a room on holiday is for sleeping in, not for sitting in and admiring.
The hotel is very big and consists of the main reception/restaurant/spa/shops building and several apartment blocks. However there is staff all over the building so should someone get lost, there is always someone nearby to help.
If you want to go into Side the local town, there are buses and taxis that pick up from the hotel. Just ask reception where to get these from and they will give you all the info you need.
The Bazaars are interesting places to say the least, my advice to anyone who goes is DO NOT pay the asking price for anything, name your price and get as close to it as possible.
If you’re looking for somewhere to go as a family, I’d 100% recommend this place. We had a great time.
The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and parasols but doesn't feel crowded. A team of cleaners spray down all sunbeds each morning. The resort is right on the beach and our teenage sons enjoyed the water park on site. Free ice cream near the beach is a nice touch.
We were disappointed that our room didn't have a balcony but could have changed rooms if we could have been bothered to repack! The kids beds were VERY hard. I requested mattress toppers and these were provided promptly and made the beds reasonably comfortable. The rooms would benefit from black out curtains.
Most staff were very friendly (the odd exception like anywhere!) and all so hard working. We enjoyed the para sailing on the beach and a massage in the spa. These were fairly priced but not cheap. The on site shops are expensive.
We watched two of the night time shows but preferred sitting in the pool bar area most evenings. The alcohol choices are adequate but we have had better all inclusive packages.
We will definitely be returning to Pegasos World.
During our time in the restaurant we always found something we all liked,, everything was behind screens to keep it safe , there was hand gel and masks provided before entering which was brilliant gave us peace of mind,, the food it self wouldn’t be in every ones taste but we enjoyed many other things we tried,, we had a Italian a la carte which was beautiful we loved it and so did the kids.
The service in the main restaurant was really good esp Muhsin who was very friendly and helpful to make sure are dinning experience was great every evening ,, he was great with the kids they loved asking him a load of questions,, he took the time to speak with them ,,
The bag shop is awesome with mr Paul another lovely person,, also the shop next door ,,,
We loved this holiday hoping to come back another year
Lovely memories made x
Beach is amazing and a 2 min walk, it’s so clean but again all inclusive beach bar limited drinks choice.
Ice cream is fab but took me 4 days to find the Hut lol it’s whippy ice cream from a machine.
So much for kids to do and loads of slides with a park too.
I stayed in a ground floor room #3035 family suite, it had 2 single beds as you entered then a bathroom and a separate bedroom. Room was huge, so much space for cases. Massive mirrors for hair and make up.
My room was cleaned perfect and my I add it was done so so well, I think 1 day the regular lady was off and my room was cleaned by someone else, this wasn’t half as good as the original lady. I could really tell the difference, still had rubbish in my bins and no towels.
Normal service was resumed again the next day when lady was back. She deserves a well done for her great consistency in the rooms. I read so many story’s about housekeeping and things going missing, I never had any issues regarding this and left money, computers etc nothing was touched, I felt totally safe but you do have a safe to use which is changeable per day €1.50 I think. We had a terrace room which was facing the water park & just beautiful.
The gardens and surrounding areas are really well kept.
Restaurant food pretty much ok, nothing too exciting going on but we found something for everyone to eat.
Amazing cakes and other desserts.
Bar staff really friendly and work so hard.
We booked into Chinese restaurant which wasn’t amazing at the start as food come freezing cold. I think when your are working at such a very small number chips shouldnt be pre cooked. There was a hand full of people as it’s so small maybe 16 but as we entered at 7:45 for table at 8 lots of hot food was pre done sitting under lamps which was then served to to around 8:15.
We went some food back and it was re done fresh but I think maybe just do food fresh anyways. It was really nice in the end.
Thanks Pegasos world we had the best time and will defiantly be returning to see you again 👋🏻
