Very sceptical on arrival we arrived early hours of the morning staff was amazing and the bell boy was so good. Connected us to Wi-Fi straight away. Paid 25tl for the remote for the air conditioning on arrival you keep the receipt and they give it you back at the end of your stay when you hand it back. Bonus as the air conditioning is very good and powerful.

Pool is phenomenal didn’t know there was that many slides my little boy has had the time of his life on it so has my partner. You have to be up early to get good beds but that’s it. Life guards are brilliant so friendly. Pool shuts at 6.30.

Food where do I start caters for everyone plenty of salads and soups fresh bread. Always different dishes Always pasta dishes on every sitting. I haven’t seen the breakfast so can’t review that. Snack bar is fab we loved that always a good choice. Crepes lovely and fresh.

Bar staff are the best so good at there job very attentive and there are waiters walking around cleaning all the time. Constantly on the go Esat Jacob and his mum work there and made us feel so welcome. Very friendly people. If they cant understand they use there phones to translate so you do understand.

Kids club very good lovely lady looking after kids. We never seen the entertainment as we always went on a walk in the evening.

Lovely clean hotel beds made ever day and cleaned and changed twice during our one week stay.

There s a bus that takes your the beach where the fruit juices are free everything else you pay for but you do no matter what place you go to has the beach isn’t at your hotel. It’s off grounds.

Was my partners birthday while we was here bell boy bought him a present so did the bar staff.

Rooms are dated in the economy side but if you pay more the rooms are more upto date very spacious rooms. . You have a fridge in your room we went to the shop and bought some soft drinks and extra beer has the all inclusive finishes at 11pm. In the night if you need a drink it’s there.

We will be returning next year we cannot wait. Thank you for an amazing stay.

We were on vacation in June, not the first and not the second time in Alanya. The hotel in the city is located in the Oba district, about 5 km from the center, the taxi charges 80-100 liras, ask them to connect the taximeter, it will cost 50-60 liras max. Many Russian tourists and families with children. The view from the balcony at a distance of 10 meters from the construction site, since we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, it's ok. The rooms are satisfactory, the food is edible, only one day we hit a rotten chicken... There are two swimming pools, one of them away from the music if you want peace. There is no good in beach, you have to go through the streets to get to it. In the beach bar, alcohol is paid for, you will only get water or "juice" for free. 300€ per person for 5 nights in June - offsetting.

Currently here til Wed 25th. We Couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay. Yes alot of Russian, German and Polish people but they're no bother.
The cleaning staff are always cleaning which is amazing to see whether this be rooms, reception or pool side.
Food.... There is always something to eat even for the pickiest of eaters and the cakes are just Wow!!
Animation boys are very friendly and always happy to chat.
General Hotel staff always say good morning and just in general are lovely and friendly. The Bell Boy is definitely my favourite, he can't do enough for you and never seems to leave the hotel, refuses to let you carry your own bags to your room.
The surrounding area is fab, plenty to do and plenty of shops/restaurants.
Will definitely return in the future

So a day into our holiday, and I wish I could go home. We checked into our room last night, I have mobility disabilities, our room you have to walk down steep steps and then through a under pass and then up steep steps. We requested to move rooms, across into the main building, as this walk isn’t possible with mobility issues. We’ve been told originally that we’d need to pay €150, which of course we shouldn’t be paying (been told this by EasyJet customer support) since we’ve said we won’t pay, the “manager” as been rude, and resulted in her shouting not only at me, but also to the customer support team from easy jet. This is hugely disappointing and uncalled for. The staff are not willing to help resolve our problem, and therefore we are awaiting a transfer to another hotel.

The food in the buffet area you need to be careful as there is a lot of flys within the restaurant. The food what we’ve eaten, as been bland.

Be cautious when walking around the pool area, as it is very slippery. I have seen several children slip. Just be warned, that is all.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. You just don’t expect such a reaction when all you want to do is swap rooms. I am so disappointed, we have been looking forward to arriving and enjoying a relaxing break. I did read the reviews before I came, but I like to give hotels a chance and see for myself. Don’t waste your money, and book somewhere, there is a lot of nice 4* nearby. I don’t know how this hotel got 4* because honestly it is a 2* at very best.

I kept an open mind after seeing all the negative reviews on this Facebook page & trip advisor. I went away with a complete open mind. I went with my friend & her 3 children I truthfully wish I had swapped hotels and paid attention to the negative reviews! The hotel did not cater for children in regards to food, infact they didn't cater for any English person in regards to the food! We had to eat out so the children actually had food in their bellies! The hotel does NOT supply bottled water. Our room was not cleaned once during the week we was there, even after physically asking the maid to clean our room & requesting it via the BLUEWAVE APP, it still was not done. We was in the main hotel so I cannot comment about the annex rooms/buildings, but I will add a picture for you to see them. Myself & the others in our party were sick & over 20 other guests in the hotel too! Upon reporting this to the general deputy manager, she was the most unprofessional rude person I have ever had the misfortune of meeting! She even went for another guest infront of everyone! The love holidays rep was even worse, then on Monday after we had checked out the love holiday rep had the cheek to come and find us & offer us alternative accommodation, upon declining this & saying we had checked out & was waiting for our transfers. He then went to the general deputy manager & informed her of our conversation, she then came & found us & told us, since we had checked out & we were sick, we should leave the hotel & wait on the road outside for our transfers! By the end of the week, the pool with the mushroom in had gone green!

On a positive note, the entertainment team are brilliant with the kids & the life guard with the longer hair is absolutely amazing, I 10/10 rate him, his eyes were always on them children in that pool & he was the speed of lightening, head first in if he thought any of them children were in danger!

Think twice before going to this hotel!

Oh and by the way this is not my first visit to Turkey it's actually my 4th in the past year, so please don't tell me this is what turkeys like, I was in a hotel just down the road last year & it was a complete different experience.

Staying here right now ... This hotel has loads off potential great pool and slides for kids but no good for English/Irish visitors no entertainment in English really felt like an outsider. Staff really rude altho I can't blame them as people staying here are quite rude. Scammed twice by being brought to old part off hotel so we would pay more to get upgraded apartment also scammed on way by driver at stop off at garage for a toliet stop. £36 pounds lighter for 6 tins of coke 3 packets of pringles disgusting way to enter into turkey other family where in different transport scammed in same way. Hotel has no English food no pizza chips burgers or chicken nuggets nothing the kids would normally go for again just catered for the only people staying there from France Russia Germany mainly felt really culturally discriminated against which really made us feel uncomfortable. If these things where fixed could be a really good hotel just a shame as they where good enough rooms in the new part and really good pool just felt out of place and not welcome.

Unfortunately Im really disappointed visit in that hotel
Visit from 1st of may. First room with I got was in other building only one plus had two separate rooms. Way by tunnel with only stairs so you have to lifting buggie and luggages. When we arrived to room was well cleaned, handle from balcony was broken, flush was broken and water was all the time leaking, this same in sink, when raport that I have to wait two days to change room. In spare building room rating is max 2 stars not 4!!! was information about changing sheets and towels every 3 days to safe water ridiculous compare to condiction of room... in main building room are better but still not 4 stars maximum 3 stars. Food in restaurant very little choice after hour of meal half left of choice. Only 10 warm meals included rice and pasta that not enough for 4 stars hotel. Breakfast only eggs available sometimes donuts or pancakes from warm food. Dinners also very poor not everyday you can get even rice. Just pasta every day. When my children doesnt feel well and I ask can take some food to room staff told me I have to get permission from reception. Half staff on reception doesnt speak english. Fresh orange juice charge extra 2€.
Turkish coffee charge extra 2€
Swimming pool Towel you have to pay extra 1 € for every day and take for all visit. In may already no free sunbeds on swimming pool is information about not reserving beds but everybody ignore that when I inform reception they say they cant do anything even is information towels will be removed from beds by staff. Aquapark is great but only 5 hours dayly open. Ice cream only available from 4 30 till 5 30. Kids club doesnt mind child enough take attention about them. My daughter left alone kids club and looking for me without any supervision. That ridiculous because someone can take her. They dont take even phone number from parents and floor is very dirty animators ask everyone take shoes but they wearing them. Not recommended that hotel in that price is not worth that

Dear Guest, First and foremost, we are very sorry that our hotel did not meet your expectations. We have taken your feedback into account and shared it with the relevant department managers, and we will work on improving our service quality. Information about our paid services, aquapark hours, and ice cream hours is included in all of our informational materials. We kindly request that food not be taken outside the restaurant area. This policy is indicated in our application, on our info TVs, and at the restaurant entrances. Our staff in the Mini Club only wear their shoes in this specific area. We do not provide child care services in our mini club. It serves ages 4-12 and if you do not want your children to be alone, you must accompany them. We do not allow sunbeds to be reserved. Towels left unattended for long periods are collected by our staff. While some guests leave their towels by the pool and go to the beach for the whole day, others leave their belongings temporarily while at the snack bar or in the pool. Therefore, while we value the guidance of our guests, our poolside staff checks the pool area 3-4 times a day and collects towels from sunbeds that have been confirmed to be unoccupied for some time. However, we have ample sunbed space. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced in this regard. We will ensure our staff are more attentive. We hope to welcome you again and provide a better accommodation experience. Best regards,

Just returned from our holiday 27/09/23 & we have had an amazing time.
We will definitely be back to this hotel.
The hotel is spotlessly clean, the pool areas are lovely & clean. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard.
We stayed in a family room so only had air con in the bedroom & not in the main living area which also had a bed. If the bedroom door is left open during the night then this cools both rooms which we found to be ok.
The entertainment is amazing… literally from first thing in the morning to last thing at night, amazing water slides & kids club.
The food we found to be the only negative although not a big one… the food caters very much for an Eastern European diet & we did struggle some days with it. There is an amazing snack bar with burgers, chips, salad, chicken nuggets etc & also a traditional Turkish lady making Turkish pancakes which were amazing! We always found something. Maybe a toaster at breakfast & omelettes would have been nice.
Freshly squeezed orange juice was chargeable which I found a little disappointing, as were cocktails.. they were not included in the all inclusive. The cups serving drinks were also very small & could only have 2 per person per visit to the bar so it was a bit of a pain being up & down to the bar especially in the evenings.
The location of the hotel is literally in the middle of the resort (Oba) Oba itself is a lovely resort with so much to see & do. Alanya is a 10 min taxi ride away, we went twice but much preferred Oba.
The hotels beach is around a 10 min walk away & has a beach bar serving soft drinks & pancakes & ice creams.
Fizzy drinks & beer is payable st the beach.
All in all an amazing holiday at the Blue Wave & we were very sad to go home ❤️

This is an honest review from our 8 night holiday that myself, wife and 2 children, aged 6 & 7 year old, have just come home from.
We arrived late at night and were taken back outside and down the street to our room, which was in the annex block, even though we had upgraded our room to be in the main hotel, we spoke to reception the following day and was told by a very rude lady that the hotel was full and we couldn’t be moved!! The annex room was very spacious but was like something from the 1960’s, there was no kettle or even a tap in our kitchen area, you aren’t given any facilities to make yourself a drink in your room. The shower was constantly going hot and cold and the floor got very very slippery when wet, which was very dangerous, especially with young children. They only give us 1 toilet roll for 4 people a day
It was very noisy in the annex building, you could hear everything from the other rooms and the communal area which woke our children up most nights and early mornings.

FOOD/DRINK
Was rubbish not a good selection at all our children, myself and wife lived off chips and pasta and salad
Catered for Russian and polish people
The food gave me green poos which isn’t healthy at all
The drinks are rubbish as well, you could have gin or vodka or the local beer and cocktails were extra money, drinks were served in a lightweight plastic cup which didn’t even stand up on the table and was very small , 3 sips and it was gone then you had to wait 20 minutes to get another drink as there was only one person serving with a que of about 15/20 people.
Joke for all inclusive

Beach bar take some money with you as the drink aren’t in your all inclusive price you only get one lolly free and a pancake. RIP OFF

if you want a Russian holiday then this hotel would be prefect for you and you understood good Russian or Turkish language than again perfect for you as the staff didn’t speak much English.

The night entertainment was okay and our children loved the kids disco, but this was the same every night and didn’t change.

The good points of this hotel is the splash pool with slides and the bars/restaurants and shops around the outside of the hotel.

Dear Guest, First of all, we are very pleased that you liked our aquapark and the destination of our hotel. We would like you to know that we are sorry that you could not meet your other expectations. We think you were misinformed by your agency. Because we do not have a building guaranteed sale. Rooms are allocated according to availability and hotel density. We receive a very high demand throughout the season and unfortunately it is not always possible for us to accommodate room change requests. There is no kettle in any of our rooms. It is delivered to your room upon your request. You could easily send us your kettle request through our hotel application. Our restaurant may not suit your taste, but it is absolutely impossible for us to accept any signs of illness. Our meals are stored and served hygienically. Samples are taken regularly and all necessary checks are carried out. We think your complaint is isolated. These types of individual complaints may occur during travel due to situations such as the food you eat on the road or outside, the sun, and alcohol. Service is served with glass cups in the restaurant, and plastic cups are served in the pool area. We have a mini disco and adult show every evening throughout the 2023 season. In addition to the mini disco, we have children's shows such as balloons, bubbles and juggling 4 days a week. Our bar, cocktails and foreign drinks are chargeable and are included in all our information. We think that if you examine the concept of your hotel in more detail before booking on your next trip, you will not be disappointed with these "rip offs". You can choose "ultra all inclusive" instead of "all inclusive". Best Regards

We stayed at the blue wave suite hotel on 05/05/22 for one week. I booked this as it advertised family holiday with entertainment package and kids entertainment and disco. We arrived in the evening which took 4 hours on the coach. We got ready to go down for dinner and entertainment to find the food absolutely shocking (please find pictures attached), then to find out there is no entertainment I asked the staff which was rude and just kept saying what barely spoke English, not even any music on through the day or night massively disappointed. It’s a shame because the hotel itself has potential but massively let down by the food and entertainment and kids entertainment side of things, they also advertise an iron, when I asked for one they couldn’t understand and then to be told they iron for us and charge for each item and took over a day to receive them back. I thought worse case they will at least have chips and toast or milk for kids, chips was not on in the restaurant and awful no milk to go with cereal in a morning and no toast or butter absolutely shocking!!i tried to speak to someone about this but it becomes hard work as no one spoke any bit of English therefore I will be putting a formal complaint in. This hotel as been false advertising.

It was 3 hours from the airport which included a 15 minute stop. This was by coach and included a lot of other drop offs so would quicker with a private transfer.
