Just returned from 10 day holiday at this hotel and really enjoyed it. Check in was quick and we were upgraded to a suite and personally taken to our room. Well appointed bathroom and all the usual facilities were available. Kettle, safe, small fridge and decent air conditioning. Lovely sea view and loads of wardrobe space. Room was spotless and was kept this way for our whole stay by room girl and man. The beach and pool area were well kept, the pool barman always had a smile and umbrellas and sun beds readily available. The buffet in the main dining room was OK at breakfast. No bacon but all other breakfast items were available. Only had lunch once and dinner twice which were fine. The terrace (BBQ) restaurant was where we had lunch pizza, sandwiches, salads and chips, whilst for dinner we used the a la carte restaurant. You need to be a bit adventurous to eat here because a lot of the dishes are for a local pallette. We loved it and the hotel put on a real good meal for our wedding anniversary including a chocolate cake! What makes this hotel is the wonderful staff. It would be unfair to name them as all of them were fantastic. The pool and entertainment men putting up umbrellas and talking to guests, the smiling barmen who poured your drink as you sat down, the 3 waiters at the bbq, reception staff and the 2 staff who take care of the a la carte to name a few. There are a few small things needed to improve this hotel. The umbrellas at the pool are tired and need replacing and modern sun beds will be a big improvement. We did see painting going on so there is some maintenance happening and we were told thst other improvements will be happening. Thanks for a lovely holiday and hope to see you in May.

My husband and I spent 10 days celebrating our wedding anniversary. The hotel upgraded us and could not have done more to make our anniversary special. Hotel- yes,it is a little tired in places. Pool umbrellas need replacing, this is being attended to and painting was taking place. Hotel is very clean , room and bathroom well appointed and spotless. Staff- they are hotel's secret weapon! All staff go out of their way to help. I must point out a few. The 3 at the lunch BBQ are amazing. James 007.5, Neurdene and Barrack, thanks for the laughs and super service. Pool staff so helpful, rushing to put the umbrella up for shade. Entertainment mgr. Hussem, such a nice person to talk to and gave me a flower every day! All bar staff remembered what we drank, nice touch . Our room cleaners were amazing. Sorry to single one person out but he was incredible. Chedley from the A La Carte restaurant. We ate there 8 out of 10 nights. Food was amazing but the attention received from Chedley was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Chedley. Food- we enjoyed food but we like to sample the cuisine of the country. If you want English food this is not the hotel for you. We wanted a quiet, relaxing time and we got that. We will return and want to thank everyone again. Regards to all.

The hotel is large and airy, bags of room and things to do: indoor pool, outdoor pool and a great beach. The staff could not do enough for us. Even when we bumped into them in the street, off duty, they came up to us and chatted. There's a very broad spread of food, mainly Tunisian - you won't get a fry-up here! The room was large and had two large wardrobes and a lot of cupboards etc, so you did not feel 'compressed' in any way. The only drawback we experienced was the fact that in October, they turn the AC off. However, we mentioned it to the our TUI rep and it was turned back on. The other great joy of the hotel is that it is child free so you could really chill out! Strongly recommend the Aziza; we may well return.

What a wonderful holiday we had here. Room was lovely with a beautiful view. I am a fussy eater but I always found something to eat, even tried new foods! We went to relax and recharge our batteries and this hotel was perfect for that. The staff went above and beyond even though they were very short staffed in all areas. Would definitely visit again.

Just got back from the Aziza and it was a wonderful week at a great hotel in the sunshine. We had read the conflicting reviews so went with an open mind, but we were not disappointed in any way. Firstly, the staff are truly awesome. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they want you to have a good time. The gentlemen in the lobby bar will remember your drink from the first evening and the guys on the pool bar are only too happy to serve with a smile. I hate reading reviews where people mention names, but sorry, Mohammed, Hassen, and Saf were truly fab and really did go out their way to make you feel welcome. Next, the food was lovely. A massive range of pastries, fruit, cereals and hot food for breakfast. The chefs will even make you a fresh omelette of your choice if you so wish. Lunch was fresh salads, meats, pasta dishes, fruits and little cakes. Again, so tasty. Dinner was fab. Fresh fish, different meats (no pork - Muslim country) but plenty of chicken, turkey, beef, goat, veal...And there was always pasta and chips if you didn't fancy trying something a little different. If you book at reception in the morning, you can eat in the a-la-carte restaurant. This is table service, lots of food, wine flowing and a little bit more posh, so you can dress up for this meal - really lovely, romantic evening in there with the hubby. Thank you Chedley for the exceptional service. The hotel is clean. The room we had was amazing, bed made every day, bottle of water left in your little fridge, clean towels, spotless. The reception and bar area are sparkling also. The pool area is cleaned daily, as is the beach. There were a few people who put their towels down early but there were plenty of beds free both at the pool and the beach during the day. There are lifeguards on duty and security guards on the beach (who double up as lifeguards) but all in the back ground so nothing intrusive or uncomfortable about them being there at all. You could grab a beer at the pool bar and take it down to the beach, which was nice, just remember to take your cup back. If you go all inclusive, you can ride on the hobie-cat (small catarmaran) for free. The lifeguard will take you out. We didn't go out but everyone who did said it was good fun. The sea was warm and clear, it was amazing to snorkel in, lots of fish swimming about. There is a little shop downstairs where you get your beach/pool towels from. Pay your deposit at reception and take the card to the lovely lady in the shop. After you've finished with your towel that day, take it back to the shop, pop it in the wash basket and grab a fresh one for the next day. On your last day, ask for your card back, take to reception, get your deposit back. Easy peasy. Ok, money. Out of the hotel, turn right and there is an ATM over the road if you need it. Dinars are a closed currency, the hotel will change money (sterling etc) for you, but not back from dinars, so change a little at a time. We left our loose change for the cleaners at the end of our holiday and they were most grateful. 10 dinars is approx £3. Tips. Whilst not expected, they are gratefully received. Shopping. If you go out of the hotel, turn right, about 50 metres on the left is a wonderful souvenir shop. It's like a tardis. No hassle, very friendly and really reasonable prices. We found the medina in Hammamet town a bit much. Everyone wants you to go into their shop and some can be a little aggressive but a firm 'no' normally worked. A taxi would cost between 5-10 dinar, £1.50-£3, super cheap. This is not a care home. There were a few elderly people who were being looked after by their carer. They came in to the restaurant and sat together quietly in a corner for their meals. They sometimes sat together in the shade by the pool in the afternoon. Did this affect us at all in any way? Absolutely not. Who wouldn't want to recuperate in such a lovely hotel? We needed a relaxing week away. We wanted a nice hotel, with pleasant friendly staff, no kids, great food and drink and if possible, wall-to-wall sunshine. Other than 20 minutes of a very dark sky one afternoon, we got our wish. Thank you to all at the Aziza. We never go back to a place as we like to travel, however, we're going to try and go back in June. It really was that fantastic.

Let’s start from the coach transfer to the Hotel, we were 30 minutes waiting for a couple who had an issue with missing luggage and the coach left without them. We had 5 drops of which ours was the 3rd, it was obvious the driver had never done these drops before as at each drop he was asking for directions to the next drop, we arrived 1 hr 25 mins later at approximately 11:30 pm and we were dropped outside the gates to find our own way to the Hotel reception!! we wondered how health and safety would view that ? We checked in and went to our room 261 which was a twin room with a partial sea view, we had paid extra for a double room with a sea view, we asked reception to sort this and it was sorted the next day at 12:30 pm and we were put in room 243. The room was tired as was the whole Hotel, the sun beds were really old, as were the sun bed mattresses and the umbrellas were shredded to bits, because of the lack of staff the mattresses were left out every night, so when it rained as it did an several occasions they were sodden in the morning. TUI advertise two a la carte restaurants and the main buffet, and a pub, there was only one a la carte and the pub never opened, only once in the two weeks we stayed and that was down to Houssem the entertainment guy. The food in the main buffet was more or less the same on a daily basis for breakfast, lunch and evening meal, the main a la carte menu was the same repeated over severn days and it was always luke warm, the wine as part of the all inclusive was cheap and not what we’ve experienced in 4 star hotels anywhere we’ve been over several years we’ve been on holiday with TUI. The only positive we could find with this hotel was the staff even though there was a obvious shortage !! everyone of them to a man were superb. We had a visit from the owner in the middle of the second week and all the stops were pulled out, every table cloth was changed for new and every table was layed. We as a couple would question who rates this Hotel as 4 star as it’s now better than 2 star and would also question how on earth it can be rated 4 star + on trip advisor, all in all it’s definitely the worst holiday we’ve ever experienced. Other than for the sunshine, and an Italian Restaurant some 100 metres from the Hotel where we paid for some decent food and drink on several occasions.

Pool and beach was beautiful but the hotel was definitely not a 4 star. This hotel needs a fair bit of money and way more entertainment to make it a 4 star. The corridors to your room are dark and stink, which wasn’t a great first impression. The staff couldn’t do enough though and the bar men in the evening were fantastic, special mention to Hassen. The food was alright nothing to write home about. Also we saw online it had 7 restaurants it doesn’t it had one buffet, a BBQ only open 2:30-5 (the pizza was good in here, service was slow) and then the Al a carte. You can eat as many times as you want in the Al a carte restaurant, it was very Tunisian but the service and food were better quality than that in the buffet, we ate there most nights. The buffet was a bit like a school canteen with lots of foreigners piling their plates high and wasting half of it. Also you aren’t able to get any alcohol at the beach and round the pool you can only get beer or wine, no spirits or cocktails which was disappointing. As it was adult only we expected some entertainment in day and especially some in the evening, there was none. Except a game of water polo some days. We expected shows and it said online there was a pub in the hotel but there were neither. There was one belly dancing show on a Saturday that lasted 25 minutes and wasn’t great. There should have been karaoke or game shows or performers like all other all inclusive’s we have stayed previously. If you are looking for a fun lovely hotel do not stay here we made the most of what we had and enjoyed a relaxing 10 days but I think you need to opt for a 5 star in Tunisia if you want the quality you would be used to in a 4 star elsewhere. It is as though the hotels haven’t moved forward in the last 10 years and like they haven’t reopened fully or properly since the beach incident and covid. The country wouldn’t be a country we would be rushing back to, the rubbish everywhere was disgusting, also everyone expects tips be cautious of the porters at the airport too they just grab your bags and get angry when you say you have no money.

Hope the management look out of him .his really a psyco.very rude and aggresive men.he try to provoque guests and the stuff and disturbe them.other all was amazing and really a beautiffull hotel to discover it.we will be back surelly.

We arrived late evening to be greeted by happy and friendly reception staff , we filled out the form and paid tourists tax and given a lemon drink in reception, then we were given the keys to our room and on opening the room we were very surprised that we had been given a suite , we had booked only sea view room which was a lovely surprise to find out we had the sea view and two balconies and a lovely lounge room , the bathroom had a jacuzzi bath , a separate massive shower that you could have a party in large sink and a separate toilet, On the table in the lounge the hotel had left us plates of food , fruit and water as we arrived late . During our stay it was my partners birthday I asked the hotel if they could arrange a lemon cake for him as he his not keen on chocolate cake as a surprise, we booked the a la carte for his birthday, when we arrived the had decorated the table with happy birthday and waited on us all evening and at the end of our meal they had made him a lemon meringue and sang happy birthday to him , also they arrange a disco downstairs with Hou Ssam who is the entertainment manager, we all drank a few to many but was a great evening , We were very surprised to find out that the pool/beech restaurant ( BBQ) you have an a la carte choice every day after 2.30pm the staff in there are brilliant you have 007.5 ( TIJANI ) best waiter in Tunisia, barrack Obama ( SAMIR ) who is so caring and polite, and not forgetting the chef NOUREDDINE who cooks all the lovely food , if there is something you don’t eat let them know and they will sort it for you . You can also eat in the evening a la carte restaurant every day if you want to just book at reception it is 5 course so don’t eat to much a lunch time lol . In the main restaurant we would like to say a special thank you to MAHMOUD SEKKA , who look after us every day at breakfast and evening meals and just wanted everything to be ok for us , the restaurant manger is SALEM if you have any problem at all he can sort it for you such a lovely man . there is a lovely pool bar run by SAFOU’ENE (saf ) after the first day of getting our drinks he knows exactly what we want , beech bar lovely chap down there but sorry can’t remember his name , they serve soft drinks at the beech on the all inclusive if you want alcohol you will have to pay or run up to the pool bar get your drinks . The swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous the life guards will help you with the beds and umbrellas if you need things moving , HOU SSAM the entrainment guy is such a lovely man he even got us playing boules on the beach, water polo was such a laugh as we had the hotel manager son and his friends join in playing with us little did we know they were professional water polo players, there family should be so proud of them as they were all amazing and did let us have a few goals but they thrashed us , the manger and staff of the hotel are all amazing and work so hard for the guests , if you have a problem at all don’t wait untill you get home and moan about it on hear go to reception and ask if they can help our bed bed was a little hard which I mentioned that evening they had the mattress changed and we slept lovely the rest of the holiday . Nothing ever seem to much trouble we came away to just chill out and the AZIZA has given us that and we were totally gutted that we had not booked longer , we will be back next year and hopefully be doing two weeks and hopefully might get room 355 again , There was a post on here about it being a care home it definitely is not they have 5 permanent residence who have carers that look after them if they were not in uniform you would think they were holiday makers looking after the parents or grandparents, if We could afford to live here permanently when We are older We definitely would and to watch the staff helping people in to and out of the pool was so endearing to watch .
