Sol Azur Beach Hotel is one of the best hotels I have visited, The reception was wonderful by Mrs. Dorsaf, she was very kind and She treated us very well ,I advise everyone going to this hotel to ask about Mrs. Dorsaf and You will definitely be happy. All services and facilities were excellent The pool was very good, and there is also a small pool for children The beach was clean and very wonderful All the night parties went well with Blackiy, Roger, Panina and the rest of the team The rooms were clean and had everything we needed and I salute all the cleaners. The food was good and varied ,The treatment by the waiters was very good especially by Mr. Othman Do not forget to visit Bio Azur because it contains a swimming pool with sea water in the most magnificence, and it also provides other services such as massage and a lot. We also enjoyed all the activities with the animators Finally, I would like to extend my thanks to all the employees of Sol Azur Beach Hotel, including Nozha, Ahlam, Fawzy, Mourad, Blaki, Marwa, Othman, Saber and Especially Mrs. Dersaf.

Where to start, maybe with nice things, it will be shorter. :D One of the nice thing about Sol Azur was Amine. He is supervisor I believe. Nothing was too much for him. When ever something was needed, he was more than happy to help. Amazing person, thank you Amine one one time. One lady at Reception, Nozha (if I spelled correct) was always super polite and kind. Pool area always clean, well done. Thats about nice things. Now, not so nice things. Rooms. If you stay here, avoid rooms on ground floor. Old rooms, old furniture, bad, very bad. My first room was 1018, shower was broken, fridge was not working, "view" from the room was one big wall. Then I moved to 1023, bit nicer but same quality. I believe that other floors have nicer rooms, as I was told by people I met. Anyway, avoid rooms starting with 10. Reception Tall dark man, rude, rude, rude. Lady at the exchange counter, sheesh, she hates her job. She kept on insisting that we have to pay with cards when we needed dinars. She kept talking on Tunisian, almost shouting. Zero effort. Food Meh, I guess it was okay. I was not left hungry I mean. Breakfast was good, lunch never good, zero, dinner was okay-ish. Restaurant looks nice but too many reserved tables for locals, especially for lunch. Waiters were all occupied with locals, serving them and their loud kids. If you ask for water, first you have to wait for locals to be served. I asked 3 different waiters for water before I got one. Once I went to eat, I placed my stuff on the table and I was aked to move as it was reserved for locals, 2nd table as well, 3rd table as well, finally they showed me where to sit, it was dirty table with plates from previous couple, nothing removed, cleaned, eewww. I just left. I complaned to the reception, they said it will not happen again but it did, every day. Locals visits this place to eat, perhaps they are paying and thats why waiters must be all over them. But I paid as well, I lot.... Pool area Very nice area but packed with local people and the groups of their unattended children. Sooo loud, I knew where I came but did not expect this. There is a day pass for the pool so weekends, jeez, packed with locals with soooo many kids. Beach It looks sad, old sunbeds, old umbrellas, very bad. Sol Azur is not 4*, it is 2* max. If you want nicer experience go to Bel Azur, it is next to this hotel, there everything is nicer and much cleaner. Here only the looby looks nice and the pool area. Entertainment Non existing during the night, just music. No parties, no nothing. Perhaps in this hotel they dont do funny stuff, lol. I might sound mean, but I am not. I am just shocked how much money I paid for this Holiday. I expected 4* and I got nothing.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, it has everything that someone need during vacation period. Rooms and hotel are very clean, hotel beach as well. Food is nice and tasteful and there are many different meals that you can choose. Regarding food only one thing I would suggest to improve, meals that are spicy should be better marked, I didn't have problem because I eat spicy but it could be tricky for those who doesn't eat spicy and children. Whole stuff is very pleasant and easy to communicate with. But I would highlight Amine the most, he is very pleasant and helpful and whatever problem we had with room or anything else, he resolved very quickly with smile on his face. He is such a problem solver. Really appreciate his help! Thanks to your staff for making it such a comfortable stay at your hotel. As a whole we had a very good time there and would surely like to visit Sol Azur hotel again.

The only good thing about the hotel is the garden and the proximity to the sea. The hotel is old and smelly. Poor meals, every day same flavours. Veggies often served frozen 😱. Swimming pool is ok but the music choice. Stay away if you are looking for nice and easy time.

Excellent location, close to the city, with nice private beach. The garden surrounding the hotel and the swimming pool is very impressive and green in a fairy way. The furniture is a little bit old. Rooms need some improvements. The food is good, tasty and varied. Friendly staff, special greetings to the Chef Executive Mr. Mahrez and Chef Mr. Saber for the nice hospitality and the fabulous service. And also, Mrs. Dorsaf.

This is not a 4* hotel, by any standards. It was described as renewed in 2017, with delicious cuisine, and having a Mini Club. Photos from outside also looked nice, so we have chosen it for 10-days stay with 3-year old kid. I want to seriously warn anybody who may considering choosing this hotel fooled by its description, espacially positive coments about the food (I dont know from those coments even came, possibly its a scam). So first, the food. Breakfast is the same every day, with absolutely no choice of food. As meat selection, hotel every day serves one kind of mortadella looking like sliced saussage, and cooked saussage chopped with onions. See photos attached. That is really everything of your breakfast choice and imagine, you have all that the same every day for 10 days. A nightmare! If you are travelling with a kid, you probably wont want to feed him with this meat. All your choice then are sweet pancakes, cereals and scrambled egg. Good luck feeding your 3-years-old with it for 10 days. There is no boxed food, like you would normally expect in 4* hotel in african country. There are no simplest things like yoghuts or butter (only cheapest margerine). As for lunch and supper, its also the same every day with only minor differences (eg turkey replaces chicken). Sometimes its even the same for lunch and supper in the same day! Food quality is VERY POOR, only cheapest things, you wont normally expect in 4* hotel. Dont expect any shrimps, squids or even french fries. French fries were like two times for supper in 10-days, while those are live-savers for parents travelling with small kids anywhere in the world. Second, the place where food is served. Amenities and furnitures are very old. Lacks of simplest things like hand tissues (there is only one under the cutlery, and you cannot pick another one). There are no small plates and forks for cakes. You have to eat cakes on big ordinary dinner plate, with plastic spoon, you can find near coffee machine. You have only one glass per person, which waiter picks up with him once you order anything else than water. There was even no soap in the restaurants bathroom for 3 days in a row. This is definitely not the standard of 4* hotel! Third, the building. Form the outside it looks decent, like renewed in 2017 as described, but dot be fooled by this impression. Rooms are very old (like from 80s) needing a renovation. First room we had was without working AC and safe deposit was also broken. It was changed after 2 nights, thanks to travel agency intervention. Common areas are very dirty. Attached photos are self - explanatory. Fourth - when considering travelling with kids - the Mini Club. Staff does not communicate in English and doesnt care about the kids. There are two ladies staring at their phones all the time, allowing the tv - playing all the time- to take care of your kid. The few toys are old and incoplete. Thereof, any of the parents uses Mini Club, so there are no kids to socialise with. In this case, forget that Mini Club will make parents relaxed for even 30 minutes.

We can report you for such words but we will only answer you this time. Sorry if your holiday not reach your level of satisfaction and we can understand some points you already mentioned even they are highly or over described as worst. In the mini kids the two ladies worked there speak fluently English, and you can easily asking management or Guest relation lady for this . The hotel was amazing with its warm welcoming stuff, from the reception to the animation stuff. 3 swimming pool with different locations between the 2 hotels of Sol Azur & Bel Azur. What I enjoyed the most was the so yummy & so delicious food that we were served by the 5 stars, General of Tunisian & Mediterranean Gastronomy, "Chef Mehrez", apart of the various food of the buffet (I can say that it was the most yummy in my life until now). He was so kind & so funny, so welcoming. He treated us like spoiled kings & queens, with his special cooking. Many thanks to all the stuff, and especially "Chef Mehrez". I definitely suggest the hotel for at least, a weekend, at least. We will see you soon.
