Smell? Musty. Carpet? Stained. Bedding? Throwback to the 80's and after just a peek at the mattress, I decided to stop. We pulled into the Ship's parking lot and it was extremely tight with room for just one car per room and if you have additional vehicles, you have to find parking elsewhere. Upon entering our room, we were taken...

We have been staying here for 10 years, & will continue to go back. Due to some health issues the location is perfect distance for walking. Dean & the rest of the staff treat us like we r family. Thanks for another great year.

Dean was so friendly and nice. Room was spotless , bright and cheerful !! We parked and never had to drive again ... Everything in walking distance !! ( there's no fridge coffee maker iron or blow dryer- but we knew that ahead of time from other reviews )... It was not a big deal not having those things. We...

On the evening of Oct 4, 2013 I was heading to The Bay. I go frequently but rarely stay overnite. Heading on I-81, 2 miles south of the American-Canadian border I hit a large buck & wrote off my vehicle. Altho I killed a beautiful animal, I walked away untouched, thanx to driving a heavy vehicle. The local wrecker brought...

I love The Ship! You're literally walking distance from every attraction in Alexandria Bay. Pat Simpson and Dean Honeywell are well versed on restaurants, tours, local attractions, and the rich history of this beautiful part of the world. Mr. Simpson is also a licensed NY fishing guide if you wish to go out for the best small mouth bass fishing...

We come back here every year on motorcycles with a group and Dean has been extremely accommodating. They are located smack Dab in the center of the action and walking distance to all the nightlife. The rooms are very reasonably priced and have always been clean. We will be back and look forward to seeing Dean and his staff.

A great central location, interesting desk manager (Dean), and fair rates for this resort community. The manager knew all about local history in the 1000 Island region in Alexandria Bay since the 1950's, and enjoyed sharing stories with my husband.

Where to start? Well, the room smells like bleach upon arrival. There wasn't a coffee pot or hair dryer, which has been standard in motels for decades. The area of town was in the party/bar district, so don't plan on sleeping. Of course, this is great is you plan to party until 4am and stumble back to your room. This,...
