Stay Wellbeing & Lifestyle Resort is often commended for its spotlessly clean and spacious rooms, although there have been occasional mentions of maintenance issues and odors. The service quality seems to vary; despite many guests appreciating the staff's friendliness and professionalism, there are reports of unresponsiveness and challenges with problem-solving. Patrons frequently praise the resort's amenities, such as the gym, spa, and pools, but some suggest these services could be enhanced further. I don't need to say much more about the fitness center. In all the reviews, it becomes clear how extensive the center is and that every fitness enthusiast can find everything they desire there.

We stayed here the first week of January 2024. The hotel is beautiful. Our room had direct pool access. The water temperature was just right. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean.

Breakfast was served at Fresca. It is extensive, catering to all tastes. We dined at Fresca every evening. You'll find a diverse menu from Thai to European cuisine. The meat is delicious, and they serve excellent cocktails. Make sure to reserve a table in the hotel's app ahead of time as the restaurant can be quite busy during peak hours. The best time to make a last-minute reservation is at 6 o'clock.

This is a hotel with a focus on people who want to stay in shape during their vacation, hence the very extensive gym. It is a bit secluded, so if you are a typical tourist, keep in mind that you will need transportation. There is a scooter rental next to the hotel. We used the Grab app to book taxis, similar to Uber. If you stay for a week, it can get quite pricey, so keep that in mind.

For us, the hotel was perfect – the surroundings, the staff, the room, the pool, breakfast, and dinner. And for fitness fanatics, this is your perfect stay.

I have travelled quite a bit and I can honestly say that this is my new favourite resort. I could not find one fault, the rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished, the pools were large and not crowded and the atmosphere was chilled out.

The gym was an amazing addition, I did a fantastic yoga class and my sister loved doing the HIIT classes everyday before breakfast, the gym had any equipment you could want and was very well kept and cleaned.

One of the best parts of our stay was the food, we are not usually ones to eat in hotel restaurants but I’m so glad we did here as everything was incredible and the precession were low. I recommend the green curry, cashew chicken, pizzas and the crepe brûlée. Breakfast was also amazing, always a good selection on the buffet and the option to order a la carts as well.

The only thing which was a slight issue for me was the distance from the resort to the beach or other restaurants and shops. The free shuttle was great but it was a bit hard to get out at night. This is definitely worth it for how incredible the resort is but keep this in mind if you like to be in the middle of everything.

We can’t wait to come back soon!! Thank you!!

Hi Christie, Thank you so much for your glowing review. I will be sure to share this with the team! We are especially happy to hear how much you enjoyed the food at Fresca. The team works very hard to make sure that Fresca is not "just another hotel restaurant", and our Chef's come from all backgrounds to ensure that our four kitchen concept restaurant delivers only the best authentic food. We hope to see you here again soon. Sincerely, Mark Stanley Manager

We were greeted warmly after our journey down from Bangkok via Phuket airport. We were taken to our room and given a guided tour of the amenities. Shortly followed by our luggage being delivered to the room by the bell boys.

We were a little concerned about the location of the hotel when we booked via Agoda. The location turned out not to be a problem as there is a free shuttle bus to Nai Hairn and Rawai beaches several times a day. I found taxis to be reasonably priced either booking with Grab or directly outside the hotel.

The hotel has a beautiful layout with accommodation in blocks located around multiple pools interspersed with palms and vegetation. The accommodation blocks are designed to high architectural standards and very soothing on the eye. Day and night the outside space has a relaxing feel.

We had a two bedroom suite which was very spacious. The suite had a well equipped kitchen and we were offered a pots and pans kit. Beds, pillows and linen were ultra comfortable. Each of the two bedrooms had it’s own en-suite shower and toilet.
Beach towels are provided and rotated daily.

There are pools of all shapes and sizes and all have a tranquil feel. The pool nearest to the bar is probably the busiest with the lower levels being the quietest. But none are too hectic.

The gym is the real start of the hotel, three floors with every piece of a equipment you can think of, with free weights and yoga studio. I attended the HIT classes every morning during my stay and it set me up for the day. Johan and his partner are a great team, giving great technical and motivational advice in a non pushy manner

The hotel restaurant is a closely followed 2nd placed star of the hotel. The food choice is exceptional as is the quality. The staff are very professional and cater for all your needs. A special mention for Game who always made a point of taking to us, which we really enjoyed.

We hope to return sometime soon!

This hotel is absolutely amazing!!! From the minute we arrived we were wowed by the decor, luxury and size of the place!

It has a choice of about 5 pools, all equally incredible, a huge gym with three floors and an outstanding restaurant.

We were going to use this hotel as a base to explore the area but the hotel was so nice we actually ate here every day and night and went the beach a couple of times using the free shuttle. The location is a bit out of the way but is only 10 mins from the beach.

The bedroom was beautiful with a nice pool view and was very reasonably priced. We actually ended up booking a few more nights instead of heading north as it was such good value.

The restaurant is outstanding and we had the best food here on our whole trip across Thailand. You can choose Thai dishes or western dishes, the breakfast was outstanding with a huge buffet and eggs to order. It also has its own bakery and Patisserie so everything is super fresh. We also ate lunch at the cafe which was 5 star.

The staff were trained very well including their Indian students who were on work experience. I have to say all three work experience students were very polite, friendly and provided super service whilst speaking excellent English.

They also provide complimentary gym classes throughout the day including yoga, hit which was a lovely touch.

The only disappointment was the spa was not complete on our arrival (I think this is due in the next few months). We were so looking forward to using this which was a shame and also on the website it talks about the yacht which was also not ready.

Other than that this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at for a very good price. We wish we were there now!

I stayed in Stay for 14N as part of the Phuket sandbox scheme. As indicated in the title, it was the three storey gym that was the first key selling point for me.

The second selling point was the generous rate that the hotel was offering for longer stays, such as mine, perhaps to encourage business at the early part of the sandbox scheme (I think I arrived in Thailand something like a week and a half after the scheme opened). These two selling points made Stay the logical choice.

The rooms are well equipped and I was never disturbed by noise at any point in my time there. The only point of refinement in the rooms is that the slight gap at the bottom of the shower door allowed water to spread onto the bathroom floor, requiring mopping after a shower. Probably something that could be resolved with a rubber seal on the bottom of the door to stop this.

The resort offers multiple daily HIIT and yoga classes - to my regret I didn't try any of these, perhaps because it took me a while to recover from jet lag and so didn't work then into my daily routine. They seemed popular.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout.

Overall, I would certainly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Phuket!

We stayed here during the first week of Feb. The hotel was really beautiful, a hidden oasis in a tropical jungle!

Pros:
*The Fresca restaurant for dinner was lovely with loads of choice cooked perfectly.
*The staff and food at the Green pool bar were awesome, we were addicted to the prawn pad thai. All of the staff that worked there were brilliant and the service was spot on.
*The Gym was incredible!
*The pool, beautiful architecture with lots of sunbeds.
*The trips we arranged through the hotel were amazing, we did a tour to Phi Phi, Elephant jungle sanctuary and a trip to Big Buddah and the Chalong temple.

Cons:
* The cleaning of our room was disappointing, for the first 3 days they came between 5 & 6 PM which was when we were in the room trying to get ready. I felt really rushed and uncomfortable as I was getting changed with the door wide open. Also the standard of the cleaning was pretty poor, for example our coffee cups weren't changed all week, just rinsed out and we had to constantly ask for things like a new soap for hands or shower gel.
*Language barrier at Fresca during the evening and at breakfast. It was hard to converse and on a few occasions the food bought out was incorrect and had to be sent back.
*The hotel was a little remote so it wasnt possible to walk around in the evenings unless you got a taxi or made the use of the shuttle service to the two beaches.

Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely return to this hotel and Phuket. Thank you Stay :)

Hi Victoria, Thanks for spending the time to write a review of our property. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the facilities here, and unfortunately, you indicated that the cleaning of your room was not up to your (or our) standards. We take this quite seriously and will bring this information to the team immediately. When situations like this happen, it is usually best to bring it up while you are still in-house, so that we can correct whatever issue it is that you have had, prior to checkout, and to ensure the rest of your stay was no less than exceptional. As for the staff at Fresca, we have recently hired new waitresses and waiters, and have already begun a more formal language training program. We look forward to the opportunity to host your stay again in the near future. Sincerely, Mark Stanley Manager

Stayed here for 2 nights (3 rooms for the 6 of us). The hotel location is really "out of no where", hence they do provide shuttle to Nai Harn Beach and Rawai. The latter, more of a fishing village. Honestly, Nai Harn beach is very dirty, full of rubbish. This beach is not as popular compared to other beaches such as Bangtao, Kata, Karon hence the authorities did not put in much effort to clean up compared to the rest. Anyway, it is a long ride to the beach, about 20 mins journey so you make the decision if accessing to beaches is important, this resort is not for you.

The resort itself is very nice, modern simplicity. Room size is moderate, with standing shower only, single vanity and a WC. I booked a room with direct access to the pool. It is very nice.

There is no provision of BODY LOTION in the room which is kind of strange, given it is a resort with 3 pools, you would expect the guests to get tanned and the skin is very much in need of a moisturiser.

There is no wardrobe but only a metal rack and a few hangers, which is very much insufficient if there are 2 occupiers staying for a few nights, they will fight for hangers. Do not wait until you get the request, anticipate their requests.

The bedside light switch is very hidden, at least there should be some sort of instruction. All my friends can't find the switch either. If in any hotels, the guests need to be "taught" how to use or operate on something, "something is wrong".

Breakfast was great, in terms of spread. The bread and bakery items are very much a disappointment. I would expect they have a good pastry chef but not.

Tried Le Spa a few time, the massage is good and the price is very reasonable. I booked the Onsen for 500 Baht per hour, supposedly Male and Female separated but due to the Sauna in the Female Onsen is malfunction they allowed Female to use the Male Onsen (it became a Public Onsen). Again, I would not have operated it this way. I would offer the female users some concessions eg reduce of 100 Baht and not to allow another gender to use if the Onsen is meant for male patrons during that hour.

The Fitness Centre is huge, 3 levels of modern equipments. There are classes as well but it is chargeable.

The Water Spout at the pool is not really working, and the switch is down the steps (you have to come out from the pool, walk down the steps and walk 10m to reach the switch), kind of a weird position to be at. Mind boggling!!!

Lastly, I minus 1 more bubble due to its smoking policy. It is a Wellness Resort but guests were puffing in restaurants, room balcony and public area. Wellness and Smoking do not go hand in hand unfortunately. I do not condemned those who smoke, but if you market the resort as a "Wellness Resort" then I have issue with it.

Overall, it is a nice wellness resort if you do not mind the location, the lack of thought in amenities and the smoke!

Dear Mav68, We would like to thank you for spending your holidays with us and are also thankful for sharing and commenting Certain aspect of the hotel amenities and policies . We are sorry to hear that you did encounter some uncomfortable situation during your stay with us and we do apologize. Stay reassure that your comments will be shared with the management and As far as possible we will look for solution to improve the facilities . We do hope to welcome you back in the future . Referring to the location of the hotel, our website and third parties platform shows our location and surrounding. The Naiharn beach is among the most beautiful beach in Phuket but during the monsoon (June To Late Oct) it happens that during storm and high tide the trash from surrounding countries end up on our shores Note that the local authority does clean the beach on daily basis when weather allows . The hotel has a non-smoking policy in the public areas and restaurant, but we do also provide designated smoking zones . Kind regards, STAY Team

Hi

We were originally going to book a villa on Air bnb but then got recommended this new hotel. It has been open about 3 months and we booked a 2 bedded room. Room was lovely. It has a kichen and washer dryer which was so handy.

Pool areas are nice and they have lots of pools and it is clean and calming.

There is a bar that serves thai food by pool and a restaurant called Freshca for dinner and breakfast. Gym is 3 floors and massive. Looks very impressive and also does yoga classes. The hotel is on outskirts of Rawai and you can not just walk out as not alot around. Hotel has a shuttle to Rawai and Nai Harn Beach throughout the day which is great. Nai Harn beach is a great beach.

Special shout out to Salsa who is the Life Style Manager. She is AMAZING and you can see she is trying to make changes to the hotel! I hope she is successful as she knows what she is doing. Also Enrico in the restaurant was good and Hugo the French chef - pastries and desserts are great.

Now the hotel has some little issues which would help they with their ratings:

Stop the topless bathing around the pool - very unusual in Thailand. We even had some eastern european on her balcony completely naked which several people complained about. This should be stopped now or you have adult only pools away from kids.

Food needs to be changed as it is the same menu for breakfast and dinner every day and also introduce more thai food. People do not want to eat cheeseburgers every day. Portion sizes for the pasta needs to be made bigger for what you charge.

The shower also does not have a door so water leaks all over the flr and makes bathroom slippery. These are easy changes to fix and then this will deserve a 5 star rating as staff really try to help but at the moment I would say this is a 4 star hotel.

Dear yassy0312, Thank you kindly for taking time to review your recent stay. Its wonderful to read you had such a great time with us and enjoyed everything our resort offers. Thank you also for the feedback regarding areas we can improve on. We will work on them straight away. We will certainly add more notices in the guest info about respecting the Thai culture and covering up with clothing properly. Regarding bathrooms, we have already ordered all the new bathroom doors which will keep the area dryer and our new roof top restaurant will be open very soon to make 3 outlets serving different cuisine to give more variety. Thank you again and we very much look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Best Regards

We stayed 10 nights in this hotel not knowing exactly what to expect. We read the good reviews saw the beautifull pictures but still....Well the place is simply super cool!! Brand new, refined environment but with a friendly atmosphere.
The architecture of the resort makes you feel serene, the vibes are good and at once you know you did not make a mistake. Our room was big, clean, with a very big balcony, very big comfy bed and a shower instead of bathtub which i prefer. We had no view to the pool but it was no problem at all.Set in the middle of nowhere in Rawai, you drive through very authentic neighborhoods to reach the hotel.
The staff is courteous and friendly, the pools are simply fantastic, the gym is in a three storey building absolutely amazing with free yoga and fitness classes.
The breakfast is served in the Fresca restaurant and is really delicious with fresh quality products, both asian and continental. We ate at Fresca (the restaurant) everyday, either for lunch or for dinner or both cause the food is really good. They serve a very large variety of continental dishes and every dish we had, and we had many, were carefully prepared with good quality products. If you prefer Thai food you have another option is to eat at the bar of the pool were we also ate delicious food too.
The hotel is far away from any activity which is good cause the area is quiet so better be prepared to hire a car or a scooter.
The hotel has it's own van that takes clients to the beach (Nai harn beach i think) but we did not use it as we had our own vehicle.
The spa was about to open soon but we left before the opening so we did not try it.
Maybe just one little remark, some bathrobes would have been great in a 5 star hotel.
Anyway we had a great stay and we recommend this place without any hesitation.

I came to Phuket looking for warm weather, a decent hotel and a good gym. Well, I found a great (recently opened) resort hotel with an amazing gym. Over 3 floors, the gym caters for all fitness tastes from cross trainers, treadmill plodders to muscle builders. Simone and Joachim, who run the gym, are a knowledgeable and enthusiastic team. Both are a credit to the hotel. Their HIT classes were well balanced, varied and interesting. Having these classes really made it for me!
The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. On the front desk, Tong, is another great asset to the hotel, always friendly and willing to help. All the staff I met were really nice!
The rooms were modern, minimalistic, clean and roomy. The bed was king-size and comfortable and I slept well.
The food was excellent, especially the salads. The restaurant service was efficient and very friendly. The spa at the hotel is yet to open and there are a few minor items that need to be addressed. However, this did not lessen my enjoyment at STAY and the management look to be on top of things.
The location isn’t by the beach but there were regular shuttles to and from the local beaches. The pools were very nice and there seemed a LOT of water to swim around in. My only criticism? The hotel allows smoking in the cafe eating area. It maybe outside but the smell of people smoking on the table next to you wasn’t great for my wellbeing:(
However, It is so rare to find a hotel that suits my “lifestyle”. STAY was little piece of heaven for me. After my initial 3 night stay, I returned for another 4 nights later in February:) Firstly I stayed in a junior suite (really just a big room) but it was a room that had steps into the pool from its own patio:). A nice bonus . On my second visit I stayed in a full suite. This had a large separate seating area and kitchenette.
I had such an enjoyable time here. The gym, the staff, the HIT classes and the food were all highlights. A big thank you to all the staff at STAY. See you again.
Julian.

Hi Julian, Thanks for leaving such a thoughtful review. Our newly opened gym STAY FIT, offers 8 complimentary classes daily, including as you mentioned HIT (High Intensity Interval Training) classes, strength classes and Yoga classes. We love to hear when our guests take advantage of the free classes, as we truly believe it is a great way to start the day, nurturing a positive and energetic mood that can carry throughout the entire day. We also love to hear how much you enjoyed eating at the restaurant here on our property, Fresca Kitchens & Deli. I will be sure to pass your kind words about our trainers and staff to them. The team here at STAY hopes to see you again soon. Sincerely, Mark Stanley Manager

HI there, we left over a week ago and there was plenty of work going on in the spa, but doubt if it will be open yet. We didnt notice the rooftop restaurant being open either. No adults only pool, but not many kids there and lots of nice relaxing quiet spaces if you need it. Have a great time.

No Kids Club. Playground is in the middle of the sun. Kids pool is there. Fairly long distances if your kid is small. Overall OK for kids.

"Rawai isn’t Patong. This is a quieter spot in Phuket and is well worth an extended stay. Local drivers are available for any day trips."
