We booked into this resort (of which the entrance was hidden down an ally). It is not fancy, but to get what you pay for was worth it...as we only slept here! We paid 500 Thai Baht per day for a spacious room with TV, fridge, aircon, free Wifi and cleaning service. It is situated on the seafront and surrounded...

We showed up with no booking and they took care of us well. AC, wifi in the room, patio, it was nice and it was right on the beach. The staff were very friendly and helped us find transport to Koh Yao Noi. You can rent a motorbike and book tours here as well.

Benjamin Resort / Hotel in Kamala, on the beach, at the end of the walking street. Perhaps the best location in Kamala. An old hotel, basic rooms but nicely painted and clean. If you are on the beach / beach holiday is a good and cheap place to stay, right on the beach and not far from the city. I...

Got a place in the back close the water. Great value, great view from our floor level balcony. Ice (Issa) from the staff helped us out a lot and everyone was very nice and friendly. Room was cleaned every day and the AC was cold. Best thing is location-run out door to beach or go out to "can do" bar...

Helpful staff, clean and on the beach. Good value, right off the main beach road. Lots of ars and restaurants nearby. Also, a small mini mart near the entrance which does laundry fast and inexpensive.

My room was clean with a/c and tv (incl Eng channels). Staff extremely friendly. Very good value for people travelling on a budget, but wanting to enjoy the beach. You can feel like you are on vacation, but without the price tag of the nearby beach resorts.

They rent old scooters here, which easily break down. As a consequence, you loose half a day, they come bring you another scooter, but with no gasoline and they do not refund the gasoline which you already put in the previous motorbike. They are however not ashamed to sell it again to another customer. What a rip-off place.

We reserved an appartment with sea-view And payed a deposit for it. When we arrive there, they told us: Only a stinking appartment in the lowest level, without window, is free. The gave us back the deposit, but nothing more. So we have to search another hotel, when it was already dark. Not funny

we are a family with a 2 year-old child and we have gone to the Benjamin because we have had an accident with the motorbike, therefore we were wounded. Already in the booking the Benjamin has asked us 1500 baths to night for a room without sight on the sea when on their Web site the price was of 1000...

“Ask for a room on an elevated floor. If you ask beforehand, you will pay more. If you ask upon arrival, and it's available you won't. Because you are directly on the beach, staying on ground level means you may see the occasional bug. They do have a maid service everyday.”
