Stayed at the Expat Hotel from 28th Feb 2016 until 4th March 2016. I enjoyed my stay here, staff very friendly. Room service everyday, 2 bottles complementary water. Can be a bit noisy but that didn't bother me. Hey it's Thailand and the hotel is in central Patong Beach. My tips, not very many power outlets but i brought a...

Room was alright with good A/C, old fatback TV with heaps of channels, balcony and en suite was good enough. WiFi worked fine. cleaner on hand everyday (will knock loudly if you are asleep). No elevator but not a worry for me. Bedding looked old and sheets although clean had stains and cigarette burns. The main complaint is (and it...

The room was spacious with a balcony, bed was comfortable and above all it was clean. Staff were very friendly, showing us where to get the best bikes to rent and even showing us the best places to ride and eat, also directing us to a temple and market which pretty much made our day. Good vibes in the bar...

Stayed there overnight and not really impressed. Our room is in the third floor and wifi is no longer accessible from our room. Blanket seems old as it has lints everywhere. :( and they said tuktuk is free but theres no free tuk tuk. Thus, im not happy and wont be staying there again.

I booked into the Expat Guesthouse because friends were staying there. The main drawcard for me was the free Tuk Tuk the hotel was offering between the guest house and the hotel, which is right near Bangla road. Well the first time we asked about the Tuk Tuk we were told it wasn't available, so we paid 100 baht for...

Room on first floor was dark but spacious. In walking distance of beach, action and the Expat Hotel. No restaurant on premises but several nearby toward beach. Hair salons nearby. Pleasant enough staff. TukTuk goes back and forth on request usually.

It's in a quiet part of Patong but easy to get to the beach and nightlife if that's what you like. The Expat Hotel swimming pool is available for use and like the hotel, the Guesthouse has it's own pool table in the sports bar. A good place to stay for an extended period.
