We stayed at The Grand Mercure for 6 nights in July 2021 during Phuket Sandbox. The hotel were amazing at organising the PCR tests, even coming back with me when my son had an inconclusive result and speaking Thai and helping me sort it out. We had a 1 bedroom pool villa which was more than enough space for a family of 4, we had an extra bed and there was a little sofa so we all slept very comfortably for 6 nights. There is a fridge, a mini bar that is restocked daily (chargeable but not expensive!), plenty of water and towels. I loved the huge bath and the rain shower! The pool area is fairly small but my boys had a great time jumping in and out and using up energy and the outside chair is so comfortable. The best bit was that it felt really private like our own little hideaway, so quiet and calm. The hotel pool is great, steps for little ones and not too deep. The kids club is next to the pool so the kids can go back and forth. The breakfast everyday was amazing, one of the best we have had in Thailand...the pancakes, eggs Benedict, plentiful coffee and pork bacon and sausages were a winner! Also we are at bubbles restaurant one night and the 'Jewels of Phuket' set meal was incredible - still dreaming of that yellow crab curry! Me and my husband both had a Thai massage too which was very relaxing, just by the pool and the kids club so you can leave them supervised and sneak away. The staff couldn't do enough for us organising taxis, PCRs, dinners and recommendations for beaches etc. Thank you so much Grand Mercure we were so happy to be in Patong during this time and wish you all the success for the next few months and reopening of Thailand.…

The property is well spread out and located within a couple of minutes walk from Patong Beach, Street Shopping, Restaurants and the famous Bangla Street. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is helpful. They offer a good Breakfast spread but the food can definitely be better (sp the Indian Section). The pool area is definitely the highlight of this property and it also offers a basic gym, kids play area and some good Spa facilities. There are plenty of cabs and travel agents to book from just outside the hotel. This hotel is a good option when travelling with family.

What a wonderful hotel and probably has the biggest spread of breakfast I have ever seen in all my rears of travel. The pool is amazing and the cocktails are to die for. The staff are ever so friendly and would go out of their way to help you in any way possible. I stayed here for 12 nights, had a pool access room which was wonderful. The restaurant has some amazing tasting Thai dishes as well as European. The hotel is close enough yet far enough from the hustle and bustle of Patong beach. Will definitely be staying again.

The room was very spacious, clean and well maintained. The amenities were constantly replaced. The staff were amazing and the breakfast was exceptional especially the freshly squeezed juices. The gym is small and only 2 people are allowed at a time, so that was a problem at times. The hotels massage and spa facilities were also great as they had special offers. The hotel maintained covid save precautions. I would definitely recommend staying at The Grand Mercure Hotel.

I am a regular traveller, or at least i was during the pre covid era. However, i rarely leave remarks on trip advisor unless it's has been an extremely wonderful experience. Grand Mercure falls into the extremely wonderful experience category. In fact, I can bravely say that my last stay with Grand Mercure was, without doubt, the best hospitality I have recieved from any of the hotels I have ever stayed in. It is, by far, the best hotel in Phuket. It provided me a wholesome experience during my 7 nights stay, so much so, I can't wait to go back there again. The family of Grand Mercure treated me so well and were simply wonderful. This hotel is suitable for all purposes of travellers to Phuket, be it for holiday or for work. The breakfast spread is full of variety and delicious. The one Bedroom Villa with pool is fairly priced and awesome to stay in, it was like a home away from home. I have been to Phuket many times and stayed in different hotels but Grand Mercure is the only one I will go back to again. A very special thank you to Ness, Julie, Yen, Oil, Sita, Lookin, Kai, and all the others whose names i fail to remember now. From Concierge to front desk to restaurant to spa to the housekeeping.. you guys and gals are amazing! Oh yes, you definately must try the spa, it is out of this world. Do remember to make advance booking as it is always full, the secrets out! The hotels location is really good. Almost everything is within walking distance. Yet, it's not smack in the centre of the hustle and bustle of the busy roads. Do give it a try and be privileged to enjoy it as much as I did! Cheers!…

Hotel was very central and ten minutes to the beach. Staff was very courteous and always smiling. Reached early but was promised a room at 12 am by Ms Sita at the front desk. She was very helpful and arranged the room by 11.30 am. Breakfast was excellent with a very good spread. Rooms were good size and facing the pool Would love to come back again !

I really liked my stay at the Grand Mercure. All the employees are very nice. I’ve never had as good of a breakfast buffet as at this hotel. The rooms at the pool are just perfect. But the best of this hotel are the lovely bartenders Dao and Apple. I really enjoyed my time at the bar with them. They were just to nice!!! I recommend this hotel to everyone, family or Solo!!
