I just returned from my 3-day visit to Phuket and chose to stay at this Bliss-aka Seagull hotel in Patong, Phuket. I usually ignore the comments shared by fellow travellers as I would prefer to find out myself after having stayed at the said hotel. The hotel staff are indeed very friendly and I was given a room with a...

I booked to stayed at Bliss Hotel on 17 Oct, given that it is self-rated as 4-star and endorsed by Agoda (yes, I booked with Agoda, and I deeply regret it!) as one of the top 20 most recommended hotels in Phuket. Upon checking in, I was highly dissatisfied that:- (1) I was put in a hotel called Seagull Hotel,...

We booked this hotel through Late stays who advertised this hotel as 'The Bliss' and as a 5* hotel - The price was right, so we through we would enjoy a night of 5* - It turns out that it was actually the Seagull House hotel next door (their sister hotel) that we would be staying in and this was...

The rooms and and the view is absoulutely outstanding. Good value for money there. But when it comes to service we got let down quite a few times. To order a meal took ages and that not only on one occasion. We were walk in guests so the friendly receptionist gave us quite a good cash rate.

After a not so good experience at the Banthai, we booked ourselves into The Bliss Hotel which is the sister hotel to The Seagull Home. What a place, every room a suite, ground floor suites have a plunge pool and other suites have jacuzzi. Staff are excellent and the manager very nice, he appears to manage the Seagull also so...

Good sized beachview room with clean bathroom. Although the restaurant service during breakfast was not great, the rest of the service (reception, room service) was really good. I got a great price for what I got. They have just opened a new hotel next door called "Bliss", which is fabulous, with only brand new suites with jaccuzzi, etc. More expensive...

On the 30th December 2007, my family and I flew from Hong Kong to Phuket to spend New Year in Thailand. We had worked hard and saved all year to enjoy a fabulous holiday. So you can imagine our distress when we arrived in front of the Seagull Home Hotel on Patong Beach to find ourselves in the middle of...

Stayed at Seagull Home hotel in Phuket and was treated very poorly. Rooms were simple, shower not great and the manager terrible. I had a credit card stolen from my room and when I approached the manager he would not talk to me about it. Said it was my problem and contact the bank. When checking out tried to get...
