We spent almost 2 weeks here, very disappointing hotel, run down and old, unfortunately they probably lost a lot of money and staff due to 2 years of COVID. The staff was as helpful as can be which is highly commendable as they had to work with a run down hotel. The hotel does have the best location right on the beach and the pool steps away from the beach and a small walk to Bangla St where the night life is. The pool is quite dangerous, a lady went to hospital because she tripped on the decking. Most of the decking is unstable with the wood planks not secured to the floor, we did see maintenance working on this the next day but they didn’t fix the whole area only a small part. The stairs into the pool was loose and unstable, we saw maintenance hanging around but this was never fixed. The customers are very inconsiderate leaving towels and personal items on the pool chairs to reserve a spot and to not be seen for hours. At one stage there was approximately 20 towels and no patrons to be seen. The pool chair cushions are very old and mouldy, we did see upholsterers measuring. The first 2 nights we spent in a room that smell of wetness and mould. We had to complain and move when the tile floors remained wet, even after drying the floors a couple of times with towels it remained wet. We had to remove our items off the floor. The staff was prompt when we asked to change rooms. However the new room we had 3 complaints, no hot water, we had to ask again the next day and it finally got fixed, the lights went out one night. The wifi didn’t work, we saw that a technician came the next day but it still didn’t work the rest of our stay. Overall a lot of issues for a hotel. With all the issues we can see staff, technicians and maintenance trying to fix these issues but the rooms and pool are long overdue for a major renovation. We spoke to fellow patrons and the room rates are between $120 to $250 AUD a night. There is actually no fitness centre with gym as mentioned on their amenities. A big thank you to the staff who work long hours and trying their best to run a hotel that require a lot of repairs. Hotel 2 stars and staff 4 stars.…
found this hotel to be in an excellent location which had direct access to patong beach , when arrived we were allocated garden rooms which were very nice with a queen size bed , rooms were cleaned every day , breakfast was excellent with a good choice including english smoked bacon , staff were very friendly and helpful , nice looking pool overlooking patong beach , this hotel is ideal for couples and families with kids of all ages , only a short walk to bangla road for the nightife with plenty of restaurants and bars to suit all taste , i would definitely come back to this hotel if visiting patong as it ticks all the right boxes for a great stay.
This is the third time we have stayed at this resort. Whilst there is a bit of maintenance to be done, but understand Covid has affected this . The position is number one on Patong Beach. We did the Thai cooking course which was brilliant. Special mention to Yot who helped us organise this and attended himself , and also made sure we got the recipe book on check out. We’ll be back
Great location, brilliant views and stunning property. Right by the seaside with lots to do. Stayed here 6 nights over New Year’s Eve great rooms with nice spacious bathrooms and balcony. Had a great stay in general just a bit disappointed with the lady who checked us in, who was not particularly friendly nor helpful. She took a call while checking us in and stayed on the call while we kept waiting and just ignored us when we asked her a question,
The location is super. Right on the beach, with good sunbeds with thick mattress at the pool and everything right next to the hotel. But they really need to renovate. Especially the pool deck The wood is all loose and dangerous to walk on. The rooms could also be updated. The breakfast is ok. Nice to sit and enjoy the seaview at breakfast, but 2 major things missing at breakfast. Real beacon (they only had turkey bacon, that is NOT bacon) they also did not have good freash orange juice, just some thin terrible watery thing they call orange juice. The service from the staff at breakfast was really nice.
