The staff here were really friendly and helpful. We were riding the Mae Hong Son loop and hadn't booked any accommodation. Just checked this place out on Agoda and turned up. We paid 800b for a double bed bungalow. I must say it was very clean with a comfy (firm) bed. It is a little out of town, and sadly time is taking its toll on the resort. It is a little dated, but quite charming. The pool is great and food & drink prices are reasonable. I would love to have stayed for another couple of nights to really unwind & relax. I would definitely recommend the Golden Pai and look forward to returning some day.
After camping in the wild for 4 nights, we stayed here and relaxed. Down town is not that far, and the location in the morning is beautiful with the buffet looking at the nice rice paddies. The breakfast is very good. The rooms were very clean and nice. The only thing is that many of the TV channels are in Thai.
The hotel is very basic and old. It was.... ok but wouldn't stay again. The rooster kept crowing all night. It was not very clean. Breakfast was basic. No choices, just eggs. It was really hard to find down the end of an alley road. We were too exhausted after travelling from Pai on bikes to go elsewhere. We will plan better next time.
Wonderful place that is unfortunately becoming a bit run down. Service is wonderful and the overall facilities (pools and restaurant) are excellent. Hardly anyone here in February except for a few people attending a conference. All types of accomodation from cabins to upstairs rooms. Recommend it u you have transport and aren't too fussy about things.
Stayed for 2 nights, the bed is so comfortable. Rooms big and spacious. Swimming pool ok but with many leaves on it. The breakfast is quite acceptable. This hotel has 2 options for accomodation. We stayed in Golden Pai, which is more like chalet type, with smaller size swimming pool.
