When we booked this resort there was a really shortage of reviews available and so hopefully this provides some information to help potential visitors. In short this is an amazing place that we’d thoroughly recommend; it was incredible value and more than met up to our expectations! Overall resort The resort is tucked away off a main road so feels very peaceful but is also walkable to a seven eleven and a couple of nearby restaurants. On site is a main restaurant that at time of writing is open for breakfast and dinner, as well as a really brilliant cafe that’s open during the day and sells coffee, and a range of meals as well. There is also a small but we’ll equipped gym with basically brand new equipment and one of the longest nicest swimming pools slap back in the middle of the resort; alongside a pool bar where snacks and drinks are also served. Given we are staying over Christmas the resort is super quiet; presumably a result of Thailand only recently reopening post-Covid Staff and service Staff have been generally really friendly and helpful; there aren’t millions of them which I guess reflects the low occupancy but they’ve helped us every time we have asked for anything and service in the restaurant has been polite, friendly and efficient Room We are staying in 3101 and 3102 which together make a vast family villa which is just perfect for ourselves and our eleven year old; he can have space to himself but also be around us whenever he wants. The rooms are to a proper, high, five star standard in almost every way. Great coffee machine, relatively inexpensive minibar, huge bed, an outdoor overwater seating area (well two one for us and one for our child), two outdoor baths, ample storage, modern tvs, everything you could ask for. Food Breakfast is good; with an egg station, a range of Asian food, fruit, etc. it’s not as extensive as many Western resort breakfasts but you should find something to most tastes. The main menu is delicious; we’ve been really really happy with everything we’ve eaten so far, some off the scale nice curries. The menu is also really good for children, with burgers, pizza, spaghetti bolognaise all available and done really well Ambience The place is beautifully laid out and the lagoon adds an incredible atmosphere, with the whole resort set up against a mangrove jungle area. We travel a lot (my wife runs a travel business) but the resort is really quite different from anywhere we’ve stayed before, and in my mind all the better for it. Things to improve A few bits were slightly negative; the shower pressure and temperature is pretty variable so they could improve this; we arrived early before our room was ready so we didn’t get a chance to go to the room by gondola which was a really cool thing they offer normally on arrival and we’d have really loved. Strangest of all is that they don’t serve alcohol; this wasn’t a massive problem for us as we’re not huge drinkers. It’s also easily solved as there’s a seven eleven ten minutes walk away where we’ve bought alcohol as we’ve needed it. Staff seem perfectly happy for us to drink it by the pool and so it’s all fine. Overall we love this place; it’s a great concept with friendly people and exactly what we were looking for to escape to.…
We stayed in a Jacuzzi Suite Water Villa, which we loved, really comfortable bed, great shower and large jacuzzi bath were great, nice flat screen tv, but no english channels, we took our amazon fire stick and that worked a treat. The main pool was lovely and very quiet, as was the whole complex. There is no bar or alcohol on site, which was a bit bizarre. Breakfast had a pretty extensive selection, but was actually our least favourite of the 5 hotels we stayed in. The hotel is around 3 miles from the beach at Ao Nang, and the hotel offer a free shuttle 3 times a day, which was a great touch, so we took advantage of that a few times. The staff are also extremely helpful and attentive, it's pretty hard to walk around without a buggy stopping and offering you a lift! The resort is also within a 15 minute walk of some restaurants, so we dined out locally as well. Overall we had a great stay and would happily return!…
The villas are embedded in nature, perfect place to relax. We stayed in the Family Villa, that is very convenient for family. The staff is very friendly and speak good English. The restaurant Na Mi Chay Cafe is situated above rice fields, the prices are good and the food is tasty.
DO NOT BOOK HERE! We booked in good faith, made our travel arrangements, paid in advance even and then found out that they refused to honour the rate that we had paid for. This resulted in them cancelling my booking and not even being willing to acknowledge that they had not acted in good faith. I’m sorry to say that this place has all the hallmarks of a classic Thailand tourist trap that will probably see you losing time, energy and money in trying to book. AVOID at all costs! They’ll probably end up ruining your vacation!
Wow... the resort is amazing, the staff is friendly, helpful and professional, they can help you in every situation.. also the restaurant is very good, congratulations to the chef!! Excellent cleaning and services!! The swimming pool is breathtaking.. I recommend it to everybody.. It's a fantastic experience and thr resort is also in a perfect position, near the Ao Nang beach, and the staff can help you to choose the best holiday organisation.. I hope to come back soon here!...
A newly opened villa in Krabi with mangrove forest surrounding the villa. Two main highlights during my stay at Venice Krabi Villa Resort. (1) I was transported to my villa using a boat (just like the gondola in Venice)! This is the signature of the resort. The other option is the conventional way which is to use the buggy but I chose the boat as this is a different and unique check-in experience. (2) I tried the Thai Gondola Picnic where you will have a private picnic on the boat and a ride to the mangrove forest. You will need to book at least a day ahead and can only happen when the tide is high so that the boat can get into the mangrove lagoon. Besides the above, guests are able to do kayaking with a rental fee. The resort is also able to arrange tour to other islands if you are keen to have more outdoor activities. Due to Covid which is on the rise again, other facilities such as the Spa and Koong-Kaang restaurant are not open. The only all dining restaurant open is Na Mi Chay Cafe & Restaurant which is surrounded by padi fields. A good place to take nice photos. In the evening, they will also serve "street food" concept if you want different types of food. The swimming pool is about 65 metres and uses mineral water. The villa that I stayed in is the Jacuzzi Suite Water Villa located close to the swimming pool. This villa type has a Jacuzzi Bathtub inside the room. Unlike other villas, the bathtub is located outside of the villa! During the day, you can sit at the overwater deck to read, eat or just relax on the lazy chairs provided. Throughout the 3 days that I was there, I have only stayed in the villa and had my meals at Na Mi Chay Cafe, trying different menus. I certainly enjoyed the peace and quiet living in a mangrove forest, enjoying the nature as it is. The only downside is that when it rains, I was hoping to watch some movies on the television but there is no English channels (besides the news) available. The other setback is that instead of charging my meal cost to my room whenever I eat at Na Mi Chay Cafe, I was asked to pay cash on the spot which I find it ridiculous since I was a guest at the villa. I was lucky that I brought some cash with me at that time for which I settled my bill after every meals. Overall, I was satisfied and made the right choice in choosing Venice Krabi as my holiday destination. I definitely had a relaxing time spent mostly in my villa.…
Stunning facilities and hospitality from all staffs. The hotel provides lots of activities with natural environment. If you want to stay close to nature and still need modern life style such as internet, wifi, air con, then this is the place you must stay. Here you can see monkeys playing around in mangrove forest just some feet away. Many kinds of birds and crabs are able to be seen all day. The swimming pool is so big, nice and clean. There is no taste of salt water or smell of chlorine at all. It's mineral water. Food at Na Mi Chay are fabulous both taste and display. The food here is served from farm to table. You should come before sunset to enjoy view of paddy field around the restaurant. However, they serve lunch as well. It's will be one of your most memorable experiences in Thailand.…
