The resort staff were most friendly and helpful, no hot water in the first room and immediately transferred with help to a new room. It was lovely and clean and large (their standard room). Everything was good and the bed very comfortable ( must for me). There is a large recreational pool and a 25 metre lap pool, both good....

This resort, literally on the banks of the River Kwai, must have been an excellent hotel 30 years ago. The exterior and the extensive grounds bear witness to a "grand" past but the bedrooms are sorely in need of renovation. Rooms are actually quite comfortable but lack sufficient power sockets for modern travellers who might need to recharge four or...

Pretty outdated hotel, it could really use some renovation, from rooms to pool and dinning romm. Don't take the room on the top floor (balcony has no roof). Breakfast nothing special. Hotel is located just a short walk away from the famous bridge. It's surrounded by beautiful garden.

We stayed here for one night. The complex is quite large with a couple of hundred yards to walk to the central lobby area for breakfast. Nice landscaped gardens on the inside, and a lake on the outside. Large and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast.

The Felix River Kwai is in a setting convenient to a walk to the famous bridge. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is well prepared and tasty. The accommodations are arranged in several separate three story buildings, but all only a short walk to the restaurants and lobby. My room (a king bed) was quite large and...

The first stay at the Felix River Kwai was a great success, we were allocated two very spacious River View rooms, comfortable but in need of a little TLC, however, this did not spoil the whole experience. The gardens are beautiful, the two swimming pools are nicely designed, very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet is very good and...

Very large rooms and nice and neat. The bathroom though could use a little bit of paint and the water taps ( sink & bath/shower ) need to be fixed as well as the mount for the toiletpaper. It is a big complex but you haven't got the feeling that it is crowded. The complex is wel covered in the...

Huge resort 5 minutes walk from the bridge over the river Kwai. So big in fact that it's easy to get lost between your room and the reception! Strangely, it was also mostly empty, with a smattering of mainly Thai and Chinese guests. Not much atmosphere. Rooms are a good size, and despite the interiors showing their age, cleaned well....

A/C didn't work, bathroom was not clean, TV from 1992. I hope our experience was the exception to the norm. Sole redeeming quality- less than 1 mile from the Bridge over the River Kwai. We don't plan to return to Kanchanaburi but if we do, we'll be staying elsewhere.
