The idea of a tent village is interesting p, so with that saying it was quite interesting. Tents are large, clean and fairly comfortable. Arrived and promptly put down all flaps and turned on the AC and also the fan. The room became quite comfortable....it was 104 degrees that day! Beds are clean and comfy..nothing special though. We ventured down...

A little slice of heaven in a place that that was once a hell for so many. The tents were comfortable. The food was delicious - the al fresco buffet in the evening was a highlight. The staff are friendly and helpful. The natural spring pool is refreshing. The landscape is beautiful. We also recommend visiting the small museum at...

We went on a 2D3N trip to Hintok along with 2 small kids and another couple. The heat was exceptionally terrible and made us return after one night, foregoing our 2nd day booking. April is probably the worst time of the year to visit Hintok and the staff said the heat becomes higher due to the limestone caves (?) in...

My parents (58 and 68) my wife (33) and I (36) stayed for two nights during the hot season. Being very much city folk, we throughly enjoyed the experience of being in the jungle so close to nature. Waking up with the forest is an awesome and unique adventure. Be prepared to be awoken by the animal orchestra (and creepy...

We were pleasantly surprised to discover our accommodations were complete with running toilet, shower, sink and small fridge. The bonus was air conditioning. Breakfast every morning and and buffet style supper. Lots of little hikes Erawan National Park and the waterfalls and museum to see. We loved the bamboo river trip and jumping into to River Kwai. The staff was...

We stayed here for two nights and it was grand. The tents if you can call them that were super comfortable and well appointed. The food was great and plentiful. We enjoyed the camps serenity and the pools at the river were wonderful. It is a bit of ta a hike down to the pools which may keep some from...

Myself and 2 friends (all aged around 50) booked at the Hintok River Camp for the 2 day programme. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay for another day. The camp is of high standard with good accommodation in beautiful surroundings. The air conditioning units in the tents are a bit dated but did the trick. The programme...

I stayed at Hintok with a friend for 4 nights and had an absolute blast. When I was making our reservation, I had emailed them to ask for help arranging transportation to Elephant's World nearby and was informed that it would be more cost effective to book the cab with them. I really appreciated that all of the advice Hintok...

This was my 2nd stay at Hintok. Enjoyed the 1st stay so much last year, I had to take friends this time. The tents are well maintained, the A/C whilst taking a while to cool the tent at 1st, does make for a very comfortable night. The offering of open air dining is very romantic under the stars and the...

This is a unique site to visit. Luxurious tents with double beds, fridge, AC and even en- suite toilet and shower. The experience however is also humbling as you can start to appreciate what the POW's must have endured when you visit Hellfire Pass and experience the heat and sheer scale of the area. The Hintok story museum was very...

“Avoid the tents facing out to the al fresco dining area if you're an early to bed kind of person. That said, it's quiet by 10! Keep your tent zipped up so the insects can't get in. There may be no avoiding the frog in the shower though, but that's part of the experience!”
