One of the best hotels in the place. It is like situated center of Huahin where you can easily find the things you want to buy. The accomodation and personnels are very hospitable and courteous specially to foreigners. The hotel amenities are very well maintained. Easy to access and safe area as the police station is beside. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very well located for railway station, night market and beach and has good parking. The rooms are OK, with mostly Thai TV stations available. The beds are fine, but the pillows are very hard! Beware the slippy floor tiles in the bathroom - dangerous when wet! Breakfast is not exciting - stale cereal, watery orange juice, cold... More

We were not sure what to expect in Hua Hin as it was going to be our 1st visit. We selected the City Beach on it locality and on that point we were not disappointed. The hotel is one that would have been built in the 70s or even before, Its architecture is outstanding and you could spend a great... More

Fairly expensive (1900 bath on offer). Great view in the rooms with odd numbers (ask for it!). The have smoking rooms so if you get one and don't want, make sure to ask to change. Excellent service! Breakfast included, but you must like Thai warm food to enjoy it. I will not remember this hotel, for better and worse. If... More

The hotel has a quite dated architecture, gives off a classic design. My problem is the lack of bidet in the toilet. It is located near Huahin beach, around 500 meters from thr beach. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast.

The City Beach Resort is convenient. Its location is great as it is "down town" Hua Hin centre, close to the markets and shops, surrounded by restaurants and a short walk to the beach. It is reasonably priced and this is of course because it is quite dated and warn. This hotel could do with a full revamp in general,... More

From the moment I was greeted by the porter at the entrance until the day I checked out I didn't see one member of staff smile. I couldn't believe the hostile attitude from the staff, especially at reception. I've never felt so unwelcome at reception, If I hadn't paid up front with agoda I would have done a sharp U... More

Nobody at front desk at arrival mid-day Sunday. After some waiting one lady clark turned up. She showed a very unfriendly attitude, spoke in a hostile manner. No "welcome", no smile, no "please". The hotel is a big silo and it has known better days. Guests are apparently seen as a nuisance rather than as a source of friendly income.... More

The hotel charges 7% surcharge payable in cash on arrival, if you pay by credit card. The cheaper rooms have good bathroom facilities and beds. And reasonable views of the town. It is centrally positioned for the main town, beach and for the many nearby bars and restaurants. There is a good car park. Breakfast is buffet and OK. Room... More

Ok but nothing fancy. Would have expected a bit more of breakfast buffet. And some welcoming attitude at the reseption desk. Had I known, might have invested on a higher level hotel. Serves the basics though. Close to the beach and some excellent restaurants is a plus to mention.
