Location great once you find the place as its off the main road but mapsme got us there from the in town bus station on foot. Rooms very clean and quite large and the accommodation is run by a lovely Mother and Daughter.

Yep hotel is simple and basic. But it has perfect location and close to everything. Owner is fantastically friendly, she picked us up from airport and assisted in rent-a-bike service. She also suggested local restaurant that serves North-Thai food. I presume breakfast in Baan Bua is also nice but we didn't try. We recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Really quiet spot , nice green gardens. It's 2 minutes to bars and restaurants. 10 minutes to the night market. It's tricky to find with no map but Google is spot on as is the lonely planet map. 5 to 10 minute walk from bus station 1. Big rooms with lots of light. Friendly staff.

The room at Baan Bua was really basic but suited us as it was only for one night. Its in easy walking distance to the town centre. The lovely garden really lifts this Guesthouse and the availability of breakfast was appreciated.

Stayed here with partner at the end of November. The guesthouse is located in a pretty garden and the service was very nice. We booked in advance my emailing the guesthouse directly. Had one of the small double rooms for only 350 baht, which is definitely one of the cheaper prices for hostel type accommodation in the area. Size of...

What a lovely place! You approach the guest house through a lovely garden, which is close to a jungle. The owner is absolutely outstanding, her English is very good, prices are low, rooms clean and big.

This guesthouse is in a great location. Off of the main road, you walk into a gorgeous garden where there are places to chill and relax. It's quiet and absolutely lovely. We wanted AC in the room. After being in Thailand for over a month, we realized in order to be happy, AC was required. They tried to convince us...

Baan Bua Guesthouse offers inexpensive rooms fronted by a quaint tropical garden: a good budget option for travelers crossing the border into Laos or making a brief stop to see the White Temple. The guesthouse is found down a quiet side-street off the main road and the young members of staff are extremely helpful, speaking fluent English and offering knowledgeable...

Very well located, close to the temple, the clock tower, restaurants, and the night bazaar. Meanwhile, it is very quiet since it is in fact behind the street. There is a charming garden, we did appreciate it. The staff is friendly.

I was looking for a cheap room for one night before my flight out. This was definitely cheap- and the a/c room is really just a fan. It was kind of a creepy low-budget type motel, no way I would have stayed longer than a night. But if you just need somewhere to sit down for a bit I guess...

“The wifi isn't that good, but try to get a room close to the office for better service. The single rooms have tables outside of them and many people like to sit outside of their rooms and read. The double rooms have benches. I've stayed in both kinds of rooms and this is the only difference besides the number of beds.”
