We booked two standard rooms online through Agoda (which saved us 800 baht per room from the advertised rate) and were pleased to arrive and find that we had been upgraded to a cottage (a king size room upstairs with a balcony and a king size room below with a nice porch). Although the room showed signs of wear (it...

Situated outside of the town area on a very vast piece of land. Lovely landscaping. Room was big was big comfortable and clean beds. Bedroom slippers were provided and the decoration was very lovely with a lot of artwork and using wood predominantly.

We got one of the rooms around the ponds and this was a real highlight. The room was spacious and decor was nice. We sat outside at night and listened to the sounds from the frogs and insects, so very cool. Definitely recommend upgrading to one of these rooms when staying at the Phowadol Resort

I would rate this hotel as average for the area. We did not mind that the hotel was about a ten minute drive from town. Sadly it is in need of some hotel maintenance and landscaping in need of water. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Pool area disappointing. Did not see any evidence of water filtration. The...

There were individual cottages, beautiful grounds, a great spa with very good masseuses, large pool, accommodated me with just soup and reduced the dinner price accordingly. Slippers , safe, mini bar. Electronic gizmo on night stand to control all the lights... took a bit to decipher their terms. Shower in a tub which was very tall and a little hard...

We spent a couple nights here and it was a very nice hotel. Quite a few tourist in and out for day trips I believe. The food was good. You just had to pick your time to eat due to large tour groups. They could sometimes dominate the restaurant not in a bad way except for seating.

We stayed at this resort on our Peregrine adventure- one night only, but would love to come back and spend a week here. We had our own bungalow, which was spacious, clean, tidy and so comfortable. The pool looked so inviting but was a little cold. Breakfast was pretty good also considering we had a quick meal early before our...

This resort is amazing in all aspects. The grounds are lush and full of flowers, and the waterways have beautiful fish. I was upgraded to a bungalow, and it was pure heaven. Each bungalow is a separate building (that means no noise from neighbors), and the BATHTUB was very deep and comfy. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and respect of...

A beautiful resort that makes you feel like you're far away from even Chiang Rai. Breakfast was delicious and definitely worth getting up for. The rooms were very nice- I stayed in the big building, but I can imagine the bungalows were even better. One of the quietest places we stayed in Thailand- away from the bustle of the city...

The resort is very nice and quiet. However the girls staffs at lobby were not friendly at all. But the guys who drove us to our rooms were nice and very helpful. The rooms are good but the sheets are too old and the beds are too hard. The shower is very strong, I like it but it is difficult...
