Recommended by a friend but being on a major road I was concerned about traffic noise, when we arrived it was well set back from the road and the passing traffic was not going to be an issue. On arrival all the hotel staff were very welcoming and could not be helpful enough. Felt very welcoming and I was disappointed... More

The Mantrini Boutique hotel is in a great area, the staff are very friendly. The rooms are a good size and very clean. I would like to see a better breakfast but overall it's good. I would stay again.

Hotels in Chiang Rai is not exactly cheap, and The Mantrini is no exception. We booked 4 rooms through the Internet. As we have specific requests, the hotel responded quickly and politely to the requests and queries, and that was appreciated. We were a big group travelling together and had requested for extra beds to be placed in some of... More

A nice cozy small to medium size hotel. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. I was there with my 1 year old sona and my parent who are 70 and 65 years old. I think this hotel is very good for baby and adult, although they don't offer my a baby cot but my son sleep with me on the... More

The Mantrini Boutique is a very nice hotel. The pool area is beautiful. Service is prompt and very friendly/polite. It's within walking distance of the Central in Chiang Rai but a little out of the way of the city center. The breakfast buffet was decent for a nice hotel. Rooms were nice and clean. Bathroom smelled a little musty. There's... More

We stayed only one night at the Mantrini. It's a nice and well-tendedto middle class hotel with friendly staff, nice and cosy rooms, good breakfast and a pool in the courtyard. We had our mini bus to bring uns to Chiang Rai city center. If you don't have a car, it might not be so easy to get to places... More

Had high expectations for this hotel when I visited Chiang Rai. The room was nicely decorated with clean bed and showers. However, unfortunately we were stuck next to a drunk policeman and his guests through the night who insisted on drinking and signing through the very early hours of the morning. I twice made a complaint with the night porter... More

Very nice hotel, clean, nicely desined (modern enough but in thai style), friendly stuff, but not all if them speak good English. Unfortunately there are some down points too: 1. Far from the centre. You're not going to have a nice walk back to the hotel after dinner. It's 30 min by foot, but you have to walk next to... More
