We found this hotel to be an acceptable place to stay for a couple days. It may not be the greatest but it was a decent place to stay. The grounds are nice and the food they served at the buffet was decent as well. The staff were friendly and quick to respond to any issues our group had.

If you like to walk, the grounds are very nice but there is nowhere else to go. The rooms are dark and old, though clean and comfortable. The rooms are also not soundproofed. The hotel caters to Chinese tourist groups and it can get quite noisy. The pool is very nice and there was a very listenable singer in the...

12 years ago I visited the golden pine on a tour for singles with Fox.nl. The golden pine was by far the best place we stayed at. Very beautiful garden, swimming pool, excellent rooms, super friendly staff. 12 years later it is essentially the same place but unfortunately not well maintained. The wooden floors badly damaged, bathroom not painted timely....

The room is very basic with an old TV that looks like it was 1970 vintage. We are part of a group of 16 travelling with OAT. Unfortunately the shower looks like it has not been deep cleaned in years - all moldy. Others from our group complained about the same thing. I would definitely not stay here again.

Great location outside of Chiang Rai (without own car would be difficult to reach). Great swimming pool, but poor gym. The breakfast was good with lots of choices. Mainly Chinese group tourists with lots of noises in the evening/morning.

On the face of it this could be a good hotel however its charm seems to have faded together with their attention to detail. The rooms are less than clean particularly the showers. They have a Coffee Shop that shows 12 different coffee styles followed by a chalk board that slims this down to five. When you actually order there...

We had booked The Golden Pine Resort through a recommendation from a friend and without hesitating we just booked it. So as soon as we arrive at the airport, the hotel car had to come to pick us up and in about 15 mins we had already reached the resort and my oh my, it was a treat for the...

This hotel is a little out of the way however the rooms are tastefully decorated with a separate shower and bath. The cabins have two balconies and are very close to the large swimming pool and spa. Breakfast was pleasant and they have a restaurant at night with entertainment. Not far from the resort there is a fishing park with...

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this resort. We arrived in the afternoon and had the pool to ourselves (probably because everyone was out touring). It was very nice, quiet, and relaxing. The breakfast was great, we loved the fruit, French toast, and pancakes the best. They gave us information on the best spots to tour and so...

This hotel (rooms are in duplex bungalows) was a quiet respite from time on the road. There is a pool, restaurant with good food and very friendly staff. The resort is near a resettlement of Hill tribes so it is convenient to go and visit the 3 villages.
