We were really looking forward to our stay at Lazy Moon. There are many positives, such as the fire in the evening, the hammocks, the good food, beautiful countryside, and Yui's delightful mother. It's very quiet at night (though being next to the road there's a fair bit of road noise during the day). The visit to a local school...

Overall my Thailand trip was great. But getting away from everyday tourism (and its traps) and from the city, even a quite 'small' one like Chiang Mai, was my highlight of the trip.
