I stayed here for two nights. The bed was medium, but the breakfast offered a wide choice for all tastes, which I appreciated. We also tested the Italian restaurant, which was too expensive for the quality of the dishes (admittedly, it is a hotel). The location is convenient only if you have your own transportation.

Spent a couple of weeks here this month.Very nice spacious and quiet sea view room on the 10th floor.Excellent staff throughout the hotel. First class and extensive buffet breakfast covering both Western and Far Eastern tastes. Chefs catered for all individual needs with 5 types of cooked eggs to order. Small well equipped gym which I used frequently. Pool areas impressive but the hotel does have a major problem in these areas with feral pigeons who do what pigeons do - poo everywhere! Shame really because it spoilt an otherwise excellent stay.

Amazingly elegant hotel, beautiful “Thai style” outdoor areas. Rooms have a beautiful “colonial style” to them are are extremely comfortable, clean and beautifully furnished. Breakfast is amazing, only complaint there were always more options than I could ever possibly eat. Staff were possibly the most helpful, happy and polite I have ever experienced.
Pool areas were clean, quiet and beautiful
Only (very slight) complaint was that the hot water was never more than lukewarm and thus was never able to enjoy the big bath as by the time it had filled, it was cold

The Chinese Restaurant Fu Lue Woman Manager- Som for no apparent reason has been very unprofessionally rude, repugnant and impertinent to me! Not once but every visit of mine is met with such obnoxious attitude. She would tell me that they are very busy and the food would take more than an hour and a half to serve even though the restaurant is not even half full! Whatever I order from the menu she would tell me it’s finished including desserts but then I see others ordering it and it’s being served to them. Also, I have not finished my order she would pretend to assume I have finished ordering and walked away! She would pursed her lips, give me a contemptuous glare and make a “tsk” sound with her tongue when I continued ordering! No one can fathom what kind of service staff would be so vicious and vile in service like Som! She’s a total disgrace to both the hospitality and service industry! Definitely NOT an asset but a TOTAL LIABILITY to the organisation that chose to hire her. One rotten egg spoils the entire basket! I don’t recommend this Chinese Restaurant.

The hotel is beautiful the pools are superb. The hotel is a little off-center but taxi and tuk tuk are present in front of the hotel. The establishment is very well maintained dinner and breakfast are plentiful and very good. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Only downside there is a kettle available but no coffee or tea. Hotel frequented by Chinese who may be too present. Really luxurious and personal hotel with little care. The latter do not speak much English but many French too.

When we booked this hotel we were aware the hotel was brand new and the grand opening was not taking place until October however it was still listed on various booking sites advertising rooms. The hotel is pretty big with over 200 rooms and it turnout we were the only people in the whole place, it was quite strange. There weren’t any restaurants, bars or shops near the hotel and the beach out the front was really dirty. The staff did not speak any English which made it really difficult, it took about 40min just to get them to order us a taxi and then they charged us an exorbitant amount just to around the corner. We were supposed to be booked in for two nights but after the first night we couldn’t wait to get out of there. We checked out with lots of confusion as once again they could not understand us and they refused to refund us our money, it was very frustraiting. We headed south to Hua Hin which was fantastic and has some really lovely resorts. I think this hotel is geared for Thai people and I definitely would not recommend it, the price is very expensive too, it was definitely not value for money.

It 22 km from city center.. but nice n remote beach accessible.. good resturant n bar in hotel.. 900 bath to n from hotel to huahin night markets. But 12 mins away from few attractions. We stayed garden view ....5th to 14th floor is beach view . Good place clean n friendly staff.
I always negotiate with a taxi driver. You can get for for between 1,500 and 2,000 baht. Be sure to ask him to pick you up and take you back. Alternatively there is a minibus service. Not used for a few years but last time was 150 baht to bkk
There are more places to choose from in the Cha-am area.
