The hotel has a beautiful infinity pool on the beach with an amazing view, the stuff is very nice and welcoming, the food is good, there are plenty of good restaurants 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the city center is located 7 minute...

Fantastic resort, very quiet and serene! Short walk to beach as this resort has rocks on foreshore. Great pool area. Not suitable for children. Very friendly staff who actually remember your name. Perfect get-away

We spent three nights here in one of the beachfront bungalows, which were expensive but really great. These rooms have their own sunbeds, so there is no competition with the "German national sunbed team" mentioned by an earlier reviewer. The bungalow was spacious, with sunset ocean view and a private Jacuzzi in an outdoor enclosure behind it. We are not...

Nice resort in a good location, very relaxed atmosphere, nice and modern rooms, great breakfast, very friendly staff. Many sunbeds, also directly by the sea, with a perfect view on the beautiful sunset. However, if you come here you have to be aware that you will be in a "German environment" (review written by a German btw): typical German holiday...

We stayed here for 5 days only - but longer would have been better Staff is fantastic: warm hearted, caring, attentive and friendly. It would not be fair mentioning individual names as all of them (including the trainees!) were truly great. We believe that the owner spent the Songkran at the location as well and we were amazed how genuinely...

I have a slight problem in reviewing the Chongfah Hotel as we had previously stayed in Rocky's Boutique hotel which in our opinion is a far superior hotel so our expectations were extremely high on arriving at the hotel and in that context our first impressions were disappointing for the following reasons:- The hotel is slightly run down and the...

We went to chongfah for 1 night only on our way back from Burma to Phuket so cannot comment on the Khao Lak surrounding (seems highly touristic), but the hotel is really great... Staff is extremely friendly and rooms are very luxurious. Swimming pool right next to the sea is just great... It was a great choice for our 1...
