Firstly, lions were literally outside our tent! Well that just made my Safari! You are literally in amongst the thick of it. The campsite is in the actual park, so not for the faint hearted. Although we were assured it was perfectly safe. We needed to be escorted to and from the dining tent, well you could feel the vibrations...

Lovely lovely camp. Awesome staff, food and accomodations. Super luxurious and makes you feel spoiled. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of millions of animals eating grass right outside our tent. It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen!

First experience in mobile tents. Gives you the feeling of the real Africa. You really live . in the nature where the action is. In my next trip to Tanzania will stay for sure in the mobile tents camp

This is your classic bush camp, but it's no-frills. The food is acceptable but I wouldn't call it 'good'. We didn't have any big problems, just small annoyances. Like the hot water for the shower that smelled strongly of gasoline, or the fact that the staff didn't put down the netting on the dining tent to keep out the many...

The tents were brand new, very very spacious, flushing toilet, separate shower...all within your tent. Ample lighting and your specific tent attended was very attentive...lovely warm showers after a full day of sight seeing and being covered in dust. Your basically right in the migration route, next to the Ndutu Lake marsh area. We spent Christmas there and the food...

Great location in the Ndutu region. We stayed there as a family in December of last year and we had a great time. We took some excellent photos, saw quite a few animals in the morning and very close to the marsh. We came in late to the camp on the arrival night and the staff were very helpful, attentive...

Great location in Ndutu on the Ndutu Lake marsh. Staff were very eager to help and meet your needs. But some basic flaws - didn't provide torch lights at night, tent zippers were not all working, tent had some holes with water leaking during the rain. Not luxury by any means. Just need to go in with the right expectations.

Overall the Ndutu Wildlands Camp is wonderful and a terrific place to spend one or two nights. The staff while friendly and efficient were at times indifferent. The food is very good as far as safari food is concerned. There are some limitations as to selection of drinks (understandable in that they have to be trucked in from a distance)....

I guess it depends on what you're looking for. An authentic safari experience with roaring lions outside your tent at night? You got it. But that also comes with slimy water (I felt like I needed another shower after taking one), a toilet that doesn't flush at night (and smells really, really bad), some serious mosquitoes and mediocre food. I...

We recently returned from a 4 day safari in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area of Tanzania. Our safari company, Hazina Afrika, recommended a mix of permanent lodges (Seronera Wildlife Lodge and Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge) and mobile camps (Ndutu Wildlands Camp). We ended up sending 2 nights at Ndutu Wildlands Camp while we explored the surrounding area with our Hazina...
