Legendary Lodge is situated in the middle of a coffee plantation with beautiful gardens. It consists of the main house and bungalows in the grounds. The rooms are enormous and the bathrooms huge. They also have a sitting area outside. They are very well appointed, and the decor is in the style of the 1930s. The restaurant is in the...

Hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Arusha is this quiet sanctuary set amongst a coffee plantation. Unfortunately we only had one night on our way to the Serengeti but it is highly recommended. The rooms are beautifully appointed in your own cottage and nothing has been overlooked. We were more than comfortable! We were warmly welcomed on arrival...

To be fair we stayed for less than half a day. I must admit the experience was positive in all respects. Rooms, food and service were all above average. The location of legendary lodge is convenient except the trip from the airport to it which takes around 1.5 hour with horrible traffic

We stayed at Legendary overnight, on our way to the Serengeti. It was a beautiful property, very classic coffee plantation feeling. Our two bedroom suite was outstanding - large, beautifully decorated in African art, with a wonderful outdoor patio with incredible views. The food was excellent as was the service. Next time, we will stay much longer.

I spent one memorable night here between safaris. The rooms were luxurious, the grounds serene, the service superb and the cuisine exquisite. We had tiny antelope (dik diks) wandering the premises and a variety of birds strolling the lawns. I had no complaints at all. I'll definitely be staying here in the future.

We travel a lot but it is one of the best places we have ever visited. We spent 2 nights in this lodge when we arrived in Tanzania and another night prior to our departure back to Europe. Our first surprise when we arrived in the Lodge at 10:40 PM was the welcome and to hear that we were awaited...

We had our anniversary dinner at Legendary Lodge and we loved it. Great ambiance, amazing service and so thoughtful to include an anniversary dessert for us. Beautiful property which we intend to go back to when we have some time to sleep over. Rooms looked fantastic and of course the all inclusive element works great 😀

Like an old colonial Inn, the lodge takes care of all your needs. Laundry, gin and tonic and good food. Beautiful grounds and huge suites decorated for Africa. All inclusive, spa treatments are extra. The folks are nice and helpful. It was our spring board before Kilimanjaro

This was a wonderful first stop on our Tanzania adventure. We arrived late in the evening after a long journey from the USA. Though it was dark I could see the lodge was meticulously maintained, tastefully decorated and the grounds lovely. Our room was airy and spacious and exactly what we needed after the long haul. After freshening up we...
