Kiboko Lodge is my favorite place to go to listen to birds songs and hear myself think. I always feel like a welcomed guest every time I arrive. I have huge admiration for what everyone involved with the Watoto Foundation is trying to accomplish. And I wish all of the young men success! They deserve it!

It's been about 2 years since our last stay, but the lodge was even better than I remembered. Two new family rooms have been added, which are very spacious and perfect if you want to stay close to the children. The dining area has been freshly painted and is very cosy. Also the food exceeded my expectations, it was delicious!...

I stayed two times two nights in Kiboko lodge, prior to and after a 7 days (6 nights) climb to the top of the Kilimanjaro. It was a great experience. We relaxed for 7 days and enjoyed the tranquil environment and good service from the friendly staff. Also the idea behind the lodge and to see how the former streetkids are performing is very inspiring. Nice spacy rooms and good food.

We did not know it prior to arrival, but this place is staffed by people who were street kids and went through training to become staff members. They were very professional, friendly, and many hotels in the US could learn from their hospitality. The place is beautiful, relaxing, and we enjoyed our two nights there very much.

We spent four nights at Kiboko lodge. Lovely location, good food (and hygiene to match any European standards) and extraordinarily friendly service. Possibility to stroll around in the village with a guide gives a glimpse of African rural life. Watching birds directly from the breakfast table was a real treat.
