I stayed in Naaz Arusha for one night. The receptionist and check in were very friendly and helpful. Since i showered at night, the water pressure was very low hence only very hot water was coming out of instant heater - there was no mixer. No one to complain to. The morning shower was good, though. the pressure was high...

Let's start of with the positive: Location. For the rest, the rooms are very very small, and there are close to no noise isolation so you are exposed to the constant noise from the busy streets of Arusha. The blanket on the bed (the one hotels does not clean after every guest) was _really_ unclean and the showers hardly worked....

In the very noisy centre of Arusha. Many rooms with not functioning showers or electricity problems, breakfast is very basic. Service was poor and always difficult discussions. There are much better lodges or hotels in the neighbourhood for the same price.

I was booked into Naaz hotel by my safari tour operator (Bobby Camping Safari). As the first night of what I thought was a 5-night semi-luxury safari, Naaz was definitely below standards! It's not the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, but it's more of a backpacker's hotel / 1-2 star hotel that's probably meant more for local travellers than...

Went back to Arusha after 3 years and opted on The Arusha Naaz Hotel once again (earlier reviewed in Nov. 09) CameronW23 clearly has it all wrong because the staff were fantastic, the room was clean, sheets were washed, food was brilliant and overall enjoyed my 2 nights at the Hotel. TV's have been upgraded to flat screens since my...

Stayed here for a couple days before heading off on a Kilimanjaro climb. Best I can say is that it has a TV with some english-speaking channels on it (news & BET). It was clean enough and the beds weren't atrocious, although I wouldn't want to have a long term stay there. Hot water and a good breakfast in the...

This was the most unpleasant accommodation of my 6 months travelling in Southern Africa. I stayed in a number of cheap hostels and I would prefer them... The staff are useless. They are not interested in helping (although very quick to ask for a tip) and to be honest I am not sure they would be able to anyway. Speaking...

Was a safe bet with a good breakfast and OK beds. Mosquitoe Nets were provided and extra pillows. Nothing Fancy with Hot water Showers only. This is not even a 2* hotel but its location was the best near to the Safari office and the cafe across. It was safer than what I had expected it to be.The place even...

Very basic room for the price (60usd) but has mosquito nets, working shower, and basic breakfast. Nothing special to say about this one, except it's near a very busy/loud street. It's ok for one night before heading to a safari but not much more. There is a cybercafé in facing it as well as some mini markets.
